There are apps which will notify you, or you can subscribe to SpaceX on YouTube and turn on notifications for their uploads/broadcasts, or follow NextLaunch on Twitter and enable mobile notifications for their tweets.
May I recommend Space Launch Now
You can select types of launches, launch organizations, and configure various types of updates at various intervals. :)
If you have an Android device, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow is a nice app for browsing upcoming launches. It also gives you updates on them via push notifications
it's probably been mentioned before, but there's an app for that.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow
countdown widget that is hard to miss and a notification an hour before launch.
I almost never forget and miss one now.
I use Space Launch now, works really fine : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow&hl=fr
Kinda unrelated, but kinda related, if you've got Android, there's an app called Space Launch Now that has schedules and, often, streams of launches if they are available. Has saved me from digging up streams in the past, so it could be worth a look. It's a really good app.
This app called Space Launch Now is in the same vein and might interest people. New app, dev updates regularly.
It has notifications about upcoming launches.

Much better, not exclusive to SpaceX. Track launches all over the world with notifications of quick links to live streams!
Space Launch Now - A Spaceflight Tracker.
Features:
• Notifications for upcoming launches.
• History of spaceflight back to the first manned spaceflight.
• Vehicle details on commonly used launch vehicles.
• Advanced search and filters for finding specific launches.
• Day/Night theme.
• Android Wear watch face with countdown.
Launch Tracking
Track launches from all the major launch providers like SpaceX, ULA, and Orbital/ATK as well as international launches from NASA, ROSCOSMOS, JAXA and ESA.
Science Missions
Follow along with resupply missions to the International Space Station, commercial satellite launches from providers like IRIDIUM and science missions like ExoMars!
Vehicle Information
Get to know all the vehicles that take us to orbit such as the Soyuz, Atlas, Delta, Ariane, Proton and Falcon launch vehicle families.
I'd encourage everyone who never wants to miss a launch to follow Next Launch on twitter or download an app like Space Launch Now!
My advice: get some kind of a reminder app then! I personally use Space Launch Now, it reminds about the upcoming launch 24 hours prior and half an hour before the launch. And there are many similar apps too.
Better not miss the Sep 8 launch of the OSIRIS-REx asteroid sample return mission!
Track spaceflight launches, check out mine here if you'd like an Android app. Or theres some other good ones as well.
or use an app that notifies you of every launch and schedule slip with 24hr 1 hour and 10 minute warning and links to the webcast.
including a notifications at launch, vehicle in flight, launch successful (or not)

If you have an android I would recommend Space Launch Now. You can select the launch companies you want to follow, get reminders/alerts, and webcast links when available.
Space Launch Now Shows details about upcoming rocket launches, gives you configurable notifications when they happen, allows you to easily watch a livestream of the launch if one is available, shows information about specific launch vehicles, and is really nicely designed.
Dont want to undermine your efforts. But https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow&hl=en has been around for a while and gets regular updates. I believe u/caman9119 is the dev
Space Launch Now - A calendar for all rocket launches. Warns you 24 hours before anything launches, and gives a little background on the mission
I really like this app, which can do exactly what you want and more if you so wish.
Even selecting which launches you want to get alerted by
It's not exactly the same, but there are several good Android/iOS apps for launch reminders. I use Space Launch Now, but there are other options.
~~SpaceLaunchNow~~ Fixed (Android) can set a 24h/1h reminder for launches, including links to streams and mission details. It doesn't offer filtering yet, so you would get reminders for Ariane/Atlas/Soyuz etc as well.
Space launch now - I see this on Reddit when it was just launched by the Dev and used it regularly since. Keep track of rocket launches from various agencies around the world. Very well designed app with a responsive Dev. With space travel getting more and more commoditised every day, it's cool to keep up with launches. It's even cooler watching a spacex booster land back on earth upright.
I also use Spacelaunchnow App. Timely notifications, and fast updates. All launches from SpaceX, ULA, ESA, Russia etc. covered. You could customize which launches you want to see and frequency of notifications.
Fort people who didn't hear or know about this, use the SPACE LAUNCH NOW app. You can get updates to all space launches from all countries. It's available on Google Play and Apple App Store in the US but not sure where else.
EDIT: a word EDIT 2 : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow
> Is there any way I can be notified via text, notification message, etc. the day of launches? I dont check often enough & constantly miss them.
This is the one I use: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow
It has other launches as well, not just Spacex.
Check out Space Launch Now. It has notifications for (to my knowledge) all space launches, provides live feed when available, has the option to sync with google calendar and more. Some features are paid though. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow
Edit: spelling
For Android, I highly recommend Space Launch Now for getting notifications before launches. It's very usable in its ad-supported state and inexpensive to unlock.
That's awesome. My "Future is now" story is while waiting for the train. I get a notification from this application, saying that Blue Origin's New Shepard is undergoing a test launch in five minutes.
My train comes in ten, so I hook in to the public Wi-Fi at the station, and load up a live-stream on youtube of this launch which is the second successful landing of a space-faring rocket in history. Watched it on my phone while waiting for my train. It was great.
If you have an android smartphone, Space Launch Now is a fantastic app to have. It has a launch schedule, information about the vehicles and missions, launch reminders and links to live streams (when they're available).
Hey there,
This was my first real Android project. It currently has a lot of techincal debt and inconsistent coding practices. I would really like to implement MVP and fix a few God objects, however it's something im currently proud of. I would like to know whats working and whats not.
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow GitHub: https://github.com/caman9119/SpaceLaunchNow
u/caman9119 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow&hl=en has been around for a while and works really well.Though may need a little UI upgrade to pretty things up
I don't know how comparable they are, but I use Space Launch now, which is really good.
I think this app already does that.
I don't know what you consider bloated, but this is the one I use, and I like it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow
This is what I use. Works great. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow
Hey there /r/android,
Space Launch Now is a space flight tracker based off data from the Launch Library team. It tracks orbital spaceflight launches from around the world, gives information about the mission, and provides links to watch a launch live.
Features:
Supporter Funded
Space Launch Now will never have ads and will always stay free and open source! I will occasionally add small support only features however I will always lean towards making most features free for all users.
Get the App!
I use Space Launch Now and have no complaints. Very configurable, too.
Space Launch Now will remind you.
I use the Space Launch Now app for android.
there's an app for that lol.

Space Launch Now is an app which alert when a rocket launch is about to happen.
The API is well documented, each endpoints data and query options are pretty easy to understand. Launch Library's resources are better utilized maintaining the site and developing new features then being a introduction to using REST API's.
What you decide to do with the API is up to you only as a developer. If you don't know how to consume a REST API I suggest starting with a Google search with the language or framework that you are deciding to use.
If you'd like an example of how I use the API, my Android app Space Launch Now is open source on Github. The relevant data consumption classes are here and here.

Never miss another SpaceX launch!

~~https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bqUIX3Z4r3k Thisis a link to the New Shepherd test flight in 15min.~~
https://spacelaunchnow.me/ has a sweet app for tracking launches if you want, I use it all the time. I set up notifications for certain launch sites/companies and get notified 10 minutes before they go live. Customizable too so you can set it up 24h in advance as well etc.
The best global tracker is Spaceflight Now's Launch Schedule. They generally update faster than official sources.
If you are looking to be nagged, then I'd recommend trying Space Launch Now for Android or iOS.
Not sure about iOS, but on Android there is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.calebjones.spacelaunchnow
I've been using it for a while now and it's awesome, highly recommended.
They do. I use this app and the Long March launches are often announced
