The Amazon deal of the day is a Bernie coat if anyone wants to get the look!
Climate change is real and really starting to hit. I know we don't pay attention to Central america but they are about to get wrecked again.
Dude, you could totally make it and be home in time for a really late dinner.
If you have a person in your life who likes to cook and you need an Xmas gift for them, The Food Lab is wicked cheap right now on Amazon. u/Tiglathpilesar and I both have that book and it was over $60 bucks when we bought it. It’s now $30. It is a doorstop heavy book (get the hardback) with gorgeous pictures and fascinating information on how to cook practically anything that isn’t related to baking.
Related tangentially, I saw this jerb pop up in my jerb search and thought of you.
I know nothing about them.
Question. Does anyone have one of those stationary vacuums? The kind that is at the wall and sucks up the trash you sweep? We are putting in luxury vinyl pla k in the downstairs and thought that my be something useful rather than running our shitty vacuum across the floor
We had a roomba,or whatever that robot was and it didn't suck (like it just didn't suck). Stupid thing was confused about an open floor plan and didn't do half the 1st floor.
Exactly. Lastly, there are two types of herbes de Provence. One has lavender in it. I have used both types, but I prefer it without because you can’t guarantee that it’s evenly distributed. I bought this one and it’s delicious.

You just need a big heavy lever. Something like this is what i have.
Or this place: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19961936
which was only $54 a night. Very nice deal. Though I am not sure I would want to camp out alone, without cell phone service, no electricity and in the middle of bear country again. I was pretty sure every noise was either an animal or an ax murderer... or an ax murdering animal.
I am very envious. Moments like that are great. It is when music can truly be something spiritual. One of my favorite memories is one random night closing the Lunch Paper in Athens, cleaning up, only a few favorite regulars and the bartender and me. We put on this album which had just come out. We sat in the dark at the bar sipping drinks and barely talking listening to it play thru. It was a great musical moment. Also I love Nick Cave.
I don't know how much this fits, but I hear they are decent to work for.
Also, if that doesn't work out you could do this. Bet you'd get a discount.
The link yesterday was to Google Flights, and it should just put RIC in the "From" field by default. Right now I'm seeing $455 to Santo Domingo for July 3-10, for example, for starters.
Airfare Watchdog is good, too, but they can get a little overwhelming. I'd play around on Google Flights first to see what you get, then see if AW can match or beat that.
I have no idea why I thought you were starting from Miami, but yes, yes you should.
Gimme Friction Baby just make sure to turn your sound down....it generally comes in kinda loud. Fun little puzzle/skill game, that is dead simple to play, and tricky to master.
Oh yes, inflatable turkey. I saw it linked somewhere that basically said "the reviews are gold", which they are. Since family visits will be over Zoom this year, I figured the time was right for some Thanksgiving prankery...
Damn, it is available on Amazon but wouldn't arrive in time for the party. Oh crap, after searching for that now Amazon suggests I shop for muscle frosting. Just...what...I don't even...
I got hugged by a random stranger at Crossroads and it went on a little longer than I was comfortable, for one.
My current grievance is that I'm shopping for horse ball toys on Amazon (our barn has a Christmas wish list, if anyone's feeling charitable) and it's so much harder than I thought it would be. But, it led me to this gem: Uncle Jimmy's Hangin' Balls and I can't stop laughing, especially at the reviews. /u/liloving of course I thought of you... :)
My favorite drink is whatever alcoholic beverage I can get my hands around on a big ass cruise ship.
American Kingpin, the story of Ross Ulbricht (better known as Dread Pirate Roberts) and how he built and crashed the online drug market known as The Silk Road, is out and on my amazon wishlist. Hint hint. Just kidding, I'll probably buy it myself for lounge-reading on the boat.
Just get a pack of basic smoke detectors off of Amazon. Like this. We have a fancy Nest smoke detector in the kitchen.
Here's the link but PM me an email address if it doesn't work. I can forward you the alert.
It could be. You could try a tall shepherd's hook in your backyard or nearer the house. One of mine is on one and they're fine with it. Just get an ant moat for it.
I always liked this one when we were making coffee that way. Programmable so you can have it ready when your feet hit the floor.
The new Funko Pops are available on Amazon for pre-order. Just saying.
Amazon has the 2nd season for $3 an HD episode, $2 for SD, or $30 for the season.

Google Playstore has it also

Amazon says they already exist, but the one I just looked at one and there's no way in hell that would work unless your dog has perfectly solid poop every time.
Oh, wait, you're suppose to put it under your dogs butt while it's pooping. Yeah, I'll pass on that. You never know what's coming out. https://www.amazon.com/Poof-Waste-Poop-Reusable-Washable/dp/B00RY81RFI
I use OpenGPS. It's pretty basic, but gives you a map based on Google maps and stats of your speed and elevation over the course of the ride, hike or paddle. You have to manually pause it if you stop, which is annoying, buy I mainly use it for recording my distance travelled rather than MPH.

They actually just plug into the audio jack, the usb is to power the lights. They seem to work fine on the Chromebook but my main pc is giving me problems with the mic.
My company just sent out an email that anyone whose kids don't have school can take time off to watch their child (without using PTO), and they're giving up to $100/day for daycare if you decide to go that route instead.
Also there is now a free icon set for coronavirus related images, in case you need such a thing. :)
As far as I know Davinci on Forest Hill goes as far as Sheila Ln (Wal-Mart). It's a decent pizza for the price.
Divinci on Broad delivers to me. I'm not sure how far they go. Their pizza sauce is really garlicy. I like garlic well enough but it was stronger than I would like. Their honey butter biscuits and potato wedges are really good though.
Keep an eye out on Eatstreet.com and Grubhub.com new stuff has been added recently.
I prefer cold coffee but it heats up really well too. And it makes any coffee taste pretty good.
I was just looking over the turkey conundrum in The Food Lab this morning. u/Tiglathpilesar also has a copy of the book and found it entertainingly informative. Skipping ahead to Christmas, if you need to order a gift for the nerdy chef in your life, it’s a fantastic option.
Stroop waffles are the best! I just ordered a bunch from amazon. They are same kind United gives out on their flights and it's the hardest part of my day to only eat one.
If you're looking for something to do, and have an Android phone or tablet, this game is free and has lots of weird puzzles, nice graphics. I lost several hours of my life last night playing it.

i use these in my garage, attached to studs
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075DCDCQC/
you could probably span a 2 by something horizontally across studs to have more flexibility with location.
this is only one of many possible solutions.

You should consider one of these balance bikes. It is a lot easier for a kid to learn to ride and then the transition to a pedal bike is easy.
Exactly. We're using this in a big Mason jar. It's super easy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0TPLNG/ref=asc_df_B01M0TPLNG4986779/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=395033&creativeASIN=B01M0TPLNG&linkCode=df0&hvadid=194847541832&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15779116249505604800&hvpone=&hv...
It's what we used before switching to "cold" brewing. We still have it, and use it when we forget to brew the night before. You can get a reusable filter for it.
So, my entire yard is fenced. I have a gate and walkway in the front, and a gate on the side of my house. I have No Trespassing signs by each gate. The side gate is obviously my driveway and side entrance. Too many people come in the front if my dog isn't out. It annoys the hell out me, especially since most of them are churches. I ordered this but I'm willing to go with something more rude if necessary.
Since we seem to share a hatred of unwanted smells, I will recommend you this which is made of miracles, apparently.
