They have them on Amazon for about $50-$200 a copy. Must be some good stuff.
Edit the Amazon price has to be wrong because it says the publication date was in 1898. Here's the link to Amazon
There you go you beautiful mall ninja you.
I saw it advertised to protect against raccoons. I'll see if I can find the ad. It was the shit.

Maybe it was a dog. Still a really good infographic.
those things are the patron saint for this sub and /r/justneckbeardthings/ . for under $40 on amazon, you can complete your journey towards becoming a delusion weeb with a suddenly exponential risk of self-harm.

Long story short, alongside the characters I'm designing, I'm actually trying to put together their real life analog costumes (need motion references). I'm going to have some mallninja packages on the way next week.
Edit: BTW I am looking for something like this, but more sturdy and can be strapped to the body. Gonna modify it to carry this cartoonish crap. BUT WITH MAGNETS
I carry a knife with me every day. Here it is. Just today I used my knife for the following:
On my way out the door noticed an Amazon package that got delivered yesterday. Cut open the tape, took out my item and then cut up the box to put in the recycling on my way to my car.
Noticed a frayed piece of thread in the passenger seat of my car. Cut it off
The little split tab on my granola bar wouldn't open. Cut open the package
Was visiting a customer we're were trying to determine what type of spring was in a seal we provided them. I cut the seal in half and then cut the spring out of the rubber to get a better look
Back at the office I got some mail. Used my knife as a letter opener.
At home my wife asked me to look at the dome light in her car, it wouldn't come on. There is a little tab to put in a screw driver and pop it out. Used the tip of my knife.
I'm guessing it's really one of those things that if you don't carry a knife, it's hard to imagine what you would possibly use it for. On the other hand, for those of use that carry one every day, I can't imagine what I would do without one. It's a tool, and you'll find uses for it.
My guess is that it was actually meant to be an extreme one of these.
"What, that? Uh, no, it's...uh...a weapon. Ha ha. A joke weapon. Yep, that's it."
Nope. It's the MTech Folding Rainbow Blade Tactical Rescue Pocket Hunting Knife
Not only did this person get a tattoo of a knife (which is questionable but alright, there are some pretty wicked knife designs out there), they got a tattoo of a terrible, shitty, no good piece of Chinese made, low quality garbage.
I had one of those for my Ericsson GA 628 back in 1998 when I work in IT support at a community college. We needed to carry a 3 pack of spare aerials for them because they were easy to snap. I had to wear a suit back then and kept my phone in a ridiculous shoulder holster rig under my jacket. I did totally realise the cringeworthy nature of it but that's mostly why I bought it. I was self aware at least but I also did like it. It raised a few laughs at least.
I'm a plumber nowadays but it was extremely good money at the time and things were simpler with IT in those days, the hardware was anyway. I ran data cables all over that college as when I started there were only computers in two classrooms and the main office. How things have changed. I now work back at the same community (FE) college training plumbing apprentices. I wouldn't want to do the IT support job there now. I am however unofficial desktop support for the tradeschool there because everyone keeps telling people "He knows computers" when in reality I play games on mine and fix it by googling, just like they could.
I've gone off on a nostalgia trip, sorry about that. Your comment just took me back 20 years.
There's one for sale there for $308. Looks absolutely nothing like the guy. It's so wildly inaccurate that it's worth looking at. For sure not worth $308, but it doesn't have a single damn shared feature with any president i ever seen.
Edit: added a link
you answered my question regarding the auto-baton, so i'll throw you a bone, kid.
United Cutlery M48 Tactical Cyclone
edit: here is my favourite review from the amazon page:
couldn't make this up if i tried

Fence staples during the winding process would be astute. But what do I know? I just build wood shit, I'm no zombie killer.
That blade shape. That handle. It's just so... so awful.
What I find surprising isn't the existence of this spear, I've known about UC's M48 line since I was young enough to actually want that stuff (and admittedly, did in fact buy the tomahawk). What gets me is them putting it in the little blister pack and hanging it on store shelves. I just learned earlier today that Schrade packages their Phantom survival spear the same way.
I would have thought a spear with a four foot glass-filled nylon shaft was a pretty niche product, but if it's commercially viable to stock them on the shelves in blister packs as though they're Gerber machetes, then they're more mainstream than I would have assumed.
In all seriousness, yes, of course they do. The SOG Spirit is threaded to mount on a standard broom handle. That's often how they demo it.
Nope. You can see the Reapr logo at the base of the blade. It's this one. CS machete is 1055 with a full tang. This is 420 stainless with a partial tang.
It’s just an amazon.com Cobra Crossbow with a “magazine” on top and a modified stock. The guy didn’t invent the cocking function.
After I wiped the tears from my eyes, I went looking for more of his works. I present to you NUNCHUCKS!… For self defense: NUNCHUCKS!: Nunchaku For Self-Defense https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B016X1VVYS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_A7H5CXTGGGE56GABXR9X

Looks like the "Intex Easy Set", costs 40$.
He's not in as much trouble as I thought, inflatable pools are apparently really cheap.
Which makes sense when I think about it.
My god, $7,000? I could buy five HDMI cables for that!
When you're feeling the inevitable buyer's remorse, just remind the people laughing at you that it was endorsed by Sylvester Stallone. Probably won't help, but worth a try.
Well, that's just supply and demand. The book's infamous and it was only ever printed in limited numbers, remaining copies are gonna cost you. Compare Ricky Jay's book on card scaling, Cards As Weapons. Some hardcovers are approaching $700, and I've seen them crack $1500 on Ebay. The book is in large part a literal joke, they have a cute nude model demonstrating a lot of the grips and techniques and some sections make wild claims about dropping African large game with a thrown playing card. It's half magician Ricky Jay taking the piss out of self-defense books as a genre, and half the most comprehensively well-researched and informative book on card scaling ever written, a very strange read. And there aren't many copies floating around, so the ones that are will be pricey.
Fortunately there are scans of Cards As Weapons, that's how I read it; Street Sword, not so much, not that I've been able to find.

It's made of plastic, has embedded LEDs, and reportedly makes "Kaching!" sounds. You get two for under $15, shipping included.
Make salmon with this. Somehow. I'm not sure how. Must have at least one Kaching! activation.
If you take your time and do your research, you can make incredibly functional and beautiful wrappings. That being said, manufacturers of the hot garbage we see here aren’t going to pay for the time and knowledge it takes. “The Ashley Book of Knots” was my first resource on knot tying and line work. It’s pretty dense but if you are interested in doing anything with rope, this book is amazing. I am sure there are great YouTube channels out there too.

Amazon has it available from a store/brand named Fabric of the Universe.
And since it's Amazon, they usually offer free refunds if you have Prime
My general rule of thumb is that uf a knife comes with a fidget spinner, it is 100% made with grade A chinesium. Id look for one with a Damascus blade and stainless steel bearings.

The amazon reviews for this product are great!
>LOL YOU BOUGHT A FIDGET SPINNER THAT TRACKS YOUR USE VIA AN APP!!!!

AUS-6 is pretty close to 440A stainless, , 440C is $1.18/lb, but that's generally more useful. The only 440A that I can find easily is $900- $3000/ton on alibaba. For when you need to outfit an army of mall ninjas.
You can get that exact knife on Alibaba for like $4 / pop.

I'm sure that's exactly what UC, EK, etc are all doing.
Pair it up with some of the frames/conversion kits for Glocks and it makes more sense and possibly seems more silly.
Baby stuff, like wedding stuff is absurdly expensive.
If you’re looking at having a kid, reusable diapers are dope as hell. The ones we used had buttons everywhere to adjust the sizes so they lasted until potty training. You’ll need this little hose attachment. You attach it to the water pipe the feeds your toilet. Use that to wash poop into the toilet. You’ll also what a Home Depot style bucket without holes in the bottom. One scoop of the scent free, sensitive skin with some water. I’d stick the used diapers in the bucket to wash everything that night. If we were out, we’d put the used diapers in plastic bags until we got home. There were a few blow outs, but that would have happened with disposable diapers.
Even with using the washer once a day, using the dryer once a day, buying the hose, using more water, getting whatever supplies, it’s still significantly cheaper than disposable diapers. We did use disposable diapers for road trips or if we when somewhere for a few days. You don’t want a shitty diaper sitting in your car for a few days or whatever.
We got ours used through a friend of a friend thing. They were like this if anyone wants to try them out. We had a total of like 15 I think. When kid learned how to use the shitter we gave them to another soon to be parent. If we have more kids, we plan on using reusable diapers again. I really liked them. Since I’m a SAHD I did most of the changing so there’s a lot of experience behind those words.

If there is more on the web page or the official Reddit app then I don't see it on my Reddit Is Fun app on Android.
But since that app blocks all of the ads, I will be keeping it.
Keychain thing? You mean the thing in the center?
I believe that’s actually a Wallet thing, and I’m sure I’ve seen better ones. But I believe this is the thing. 8 bucks on Amazon. The similar items might be better to look at. IF that is what you meant, if not, sorry.
Thanks guys, I think I'm getting close or at least the closest I can get from the replies here. Something in the same style.

Dude whatever you do, never ever ever couple that thing with one of those air powered toilet plungers. I shot one of those needle dart through a living room door and into my aunt.
A katana is a long two-handed weapon that while capable of being used in close quarters is still rather poor owing to its the long overall length and predominantly two-handed design.
Similar issues also appear when attempting to use a crossbow. The large width of the crossbow, necessary length of pull for the bolt, and the general stock layout can make it relatively difficult to use in close quarters, especially when contrasted with its overall effectiveness being effectively a single-shot weapon.
Instead, I pose that a large and powerful flashlight would be much more practical. Serving as an initial deterrent from potential home invaders that you hear attempting to get on your property, a method of discouraging wild animals on your property, a method of highlighting your potential adversary, and as a fairly decent bludgeoning device. Even smaller flashlights can serve as pretty decent implements for self-defense in a hand to hand or mostly unarmed situation:
There are also some very interesting options for potential flashlights. I personally like this flashlight multi-tool which is geared toward car crashes, car breakdowns, and similar emergencies but can be pushed into use as a weapon. As it does features not only a flashlight but also a glass breaker.

It just occurs to me, SOG usually stamps their stuff with SOG labels, but I don't see it on this one.
I wonder if it's a knock off?
Hey /u/dentuW, does it say "SOG" on the top? It should look like this.

Camelbacks aren't tactical enough. Use one of these for quick access to your ~~gamer~~ ninja fuel.
Now you have another subscriber, I thought I was alone.
If you want to add stuff on your sub use ifttt.com, you can make any video you like on youtube to get added in your sub for example, check it out.
They're legitimately not bad for what they are.
If you want something more.... professional, there's this here.
What I miss, are the long handled-MRE plastic spoons/sporks, those things are great for camping and such.
Kershaw 'Oso Sweet' is my favorite of that style of knife. I prefer the textured handle. ...they're not under $20 in this economy though. up to ~$26

Zune Lotoo Multifunction Outdoor 29.7 Inch Long Stainless Steel Survival Shovel for Camping Hunting with Adjusting Shovel Head https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07GQPZ8DN
Over $200!!!
So the minimum price for this is between 15 (if you prepay 180+usd)-18usd for 1 knife a month. The price for 3 knives as shown in the video is 39usd a month.
Of the knives in the video one of them was this guy which is about 5.89usd:
https://www.amazon.com/Mstechcorp-Survivor-Hunting-Starter-Packaging/dp/B00F57SF8W/
Is it worth 18usd? No.
Will the other knives be worth 33usd? Probably not.
It has hard coded subs, but it's watchable. Not a bad movie and a pretty good early upload.
So this is a sound card in the package of a vacuum tube, would say this is more gamer stuff with it pretending its something else but seams to be working and even if its shitty still does the job its supposed to do.
And Gecko45 probably didn’t patrol a mall with a UMP and G36 in the back of his golf cart but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a mall cop out there with a gun carrying a price tag well over his station or a dude who walks around with a stupidly expensive sword because he thinks it’ll save him.
I’d reccomend you not. Reason being, it looks too light to be a good throwing knife. It looks like a cheaper kunai. My advice would be to get yourself some sort of sport throwing knife, like a smith and wesson throwing knife

Thanks for reminding me of this.
I looked around a little and found this torch, which looks more or less correct.
linky to the item, on Amazon for those that are curious (obs, i'm not OP but i went and looked it up because i didnt know what it was)
Honestly, if it was not so heavy I would have looked into one of these... Until I saw pics from previous buyers, this thing is a complete piece of garbage and the steel is very brittle and will get cracks in the blades.
Buy one of these instead - Camillus Carnivore X 18’’ Machete https://www.amazon.com/Camillus-Carnivore-X-18-Inch-Machete/dp/B00NF40UNK/ref=sr_1_24?crid=NN2KYL6Y2KMS&dchild=1&keywords=machete+axe+saw&qid=1617042894&sprefix=machete+ax%2Caps%2C183&sr=8-24
This is works like an axe almost just as well as a machete, plus the saw blade actually cuts and is functional (everything I read about this says the saw is NOT sharp and requires lots of effort to complete cuts of over 1.5 inches in diameter).
The con here is that the Camillus does not work well for batoning due to its near 100% saw blade back side.
(I know this is a sub for making fun of "Ninja Shit", however I do have a practical appreciation for the design of "some" of the posts here. I love to back pack/hike/camp and the balance of weight and function are key)
PS: I don't have any stock in Camillus :)

Those were popular at one point I remember my dad had a couple like that on his desk.
I'm betting it's more of a knick knack than functional. Hard to tell but I think I'm seeing some surface rust.
If the rust is very mild, I can often go at it with just a paper towel (microfiber or an old T shirt works too if you're super worried about scratches) and vinegar and work it out. If that won't do, I would imagine some Fitz metal polish and a microfiber polishing cloth would do it just keep rubbing even if it takes a while.
After it's restored, hit it with some oil (nothing special), this would work for instance
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013R67A6/
You just need a little bit, you want a very thin film (like 1 molecule thin, haha) over the metal; put a drop or two on the blade then wipe it all over the blade with a cloth or paper towel and make sure it's covered and wipe off any excess, you shouldn't see it "pooling" or dripping. If you do that and keep it somewhere dry it should be fine. Consider a dessicant if you're going to store it out of sight out of mind.
Fuck motorized knife sharpeners. This cheap fucking thing both humiliated me and changed my life. I was an Arkansas whetstone-and-leather-strop person for years, but it takes so fucking long to sharpen all our kitchen knives that way. I bought this thing as a scissors sharpener (works great for that too) and found out it keeps our knives nicely sharp with like 1/10 the effort as well.
It's so cheap that when it craps out I'll shell out another $10 for another one.

For the same weight, a third the cost, 30% more tools, and 100% much more practical tools you could get a leatherman PS or squirt.
https://www.amazon.com/LEATHERMAN-Style-PS-Multitool-Black/dp/B0058RX9NU/
The only advantage this tool has is maybe some bulk in size or if you need to go into a area with security and you accidently leave your tool on a keychain the Leatherman's tiny scissors might get you in trouble with the extra sensitive.
It's one of those "low profile" and "extra slim" multi tools. It has a key ring, bottle opener, screw driver, pry, and wrench. So it isn't terrible but for the price, weight, and space it really isn't that great:

Pretty cool seen shit in line 26 and I'd still truck these..... Trying to find them online
Edit amazon has something similar if any one wants some cool bling
I got this flashlight off Amazon a bit ago to take on evening walks. I haven't tested it on a person, but the stun gun looks legit and is loud as fuck.
This is seriously old news. They released the first wave of their Zombie Killer Blades in like 2011, maybe earlier, but that's when they were on Amazon for sale.
The reviews for it go back to 2011.
I mean zombies got big, so a knife company makes a "Zombie" Themed blade. Not a real shock.
Check out the Amazon listing for more pictures.
It's a woman. Also, they apparently feel that this sword is best paired with a silenced pistol, because obviously a 4 foot highly reflective sword is your stealth weapon of choice. Knives are for steak, swords are for killing.
The Amazon reviews are precious:
> Yakuza Dynasty is my favorite of the Code Name: Dodger series for many reasons, but especially because it digs into Justin Reed's past in such unexpected ways that I almost finished the book without fingernails (from all the nail biting). The author has an incredible talent for descriptive writing (and writing, in general), in a way that it appealed to all of my senses as I read this novel from beginning to end. It got me laughing hysterically, crying like a baby, and all that's in between.
It turns out the author is an airline pilot. I looked him up, and he seems like a pretty cool guy.
If we're talking about actual products, there's the zombie mallninjashit line (Zombie Strike), and the tacticool mallninjashit line (Modulus, think unnecessary atttachments).
And then there's this thing: https://www.amazon.com/Nerf-Rebelle-Secret-Blaster-Purple/dp/B00NCZZJ7Y
I have that exact katana, it was $22 on amazon. link
Sharpens quite well, though it arrived dull. Scabbard is bamboo with foam interior and it holds up well. Way less shiny in person. Scabbard’s fabric grip is useless so I took it off. Doesn’t rust easily. It stays in the kitchen and I use it to cut cake and pizzas, as I refuse to buy a real cake set and pizza blade for twice that much each.
There's a bunch of different models that look pretty much the same, probably find one cheaper elsewhere but I took that pic from the Saberlight on Amazon
Heh.... No, I prefered "The Mystic Arts of the Ninja" - I was about 13, and this was the only book that I "stole" from a library (really just moved to another town and forgot to return it before leaving)...

Well - the only useful skills I learned from that were how to "roll" your feet when walking to be "more silent" and the section on "hypnotism", which was primarily self-hypnosis/meditation...
This knife more than likely is meant to be carried in a sheath. The knife can be left closed and carried like a fixed blade or it can be opened to its full length. The advantage of this design would be the shorter less heavy handle with a longer blade making it easier to carry without compromising blade length. There are many folding knives with similar designs notably this marbles safety folder. https://www.amazon.com/Marbles-MR204-BRK-Safety-Folder/dp/B004GA65SG
