The "Martinis and Medicine" box set, specifically, allows watching without the laugh track.
My grandfather had that exact same set with the red and blue accents. I think they are prints from the early 60s, not sure.

There was at least 20 of them (that he had) I know Zane Grey was a very prolific author.
Hey, that's the one. Thanks so much.
I was able to find this recording of it now. That had been bugging me for like 3 years. Ever since I first started watching the show.
Hmmmm interesting. Thanks for the possible concrete observation of the time period. I found this book on homoerotic muscle magazines
I forget the exact quote but something about letting the kitty out of the burlap instead of cat out of the bag.
Amazon offers a mug with some of his one liners:

I got that set last year, and ran into the problem that every disc had been scratched by the packaging to the point that one or more episode per disc was unplayable. I'm not sure if you would run into the same problem, but there are a lot of comments on Amazon with people who say the same thing.
I returned it and got this set instead: https://www.amazon.com/M-S-H-Complete-Movie/dp/B00BMJ7ZKG
It doesn't have as nice a box, but all of the discs actually play! And it does have the movie included.
They are on Amazon and often go on sale.
The Martinis and Medicine Complete Collection looks good because it has some extra reunion specials and such. I bought mine season by season as they were released in the late 90's. So I don't have this set.
The martinis and medicine collection has these features plus the movie. Just look it up on your nation's Amazon site!
You can watch these on any computer using VLC - it automatically ignores the region coding.

Otherwise, look around for DVD/Blu-Ray player hacks that remove the coding setting. I did this years ago to a player and rented/bought movies from Region 2 all of the time in the US with no problem.
this copy contains a no laugh track audio track... i got it at Walmart for around 90 Canadian
Some of it is pretty accurate. If you're interested in the medical history, check out Dr. Otto Apel's book, "MASH: An Army Surgeon in Korea". I'm a huge MASH nerd and I absolutely loved this book!
>In addition to his own story, Apel details the operating conditions, workload, and patient care at the MASH units while revealing the remarkable advances made in emergency medical care. MASH units were the first hospitals designed for operations close to the front lines, and from this particularly difficult vantage, their medical staffs were responsible for innovations in the use of antibiotics and blood plasma and in arterial repair.
‘Kay, and sorry I took so long. The first thing you need is an address from the country who’s Kindle Store you want to shop at, I’d suggest just googling “Sample Address” and the name of the country.
Once you have that you go to ‘Manage Your Content and Devices’ in your Amazon account, once there head to ‘Preferences’, then down to ‘Country/Region Settings’ and add said new address there.
After that just change the address from your normal one to the new address any time you want to change stores. I personally have addresses in Britain and Canada for some books that either aren’t available in the US or are much, much cheaper.
The last thing you might need , and only might, is a VPN. FranklyI’d recommend getting one anyway just in case Amazon decides to be difficult about you technically not being in the country that your account says you are, personally I suggest TunnelBear.
Once you have one find the book you want just turn on the VPN and hit the purchase button and you’re good to go.
Anyhoo, I hope this helps ya, and happy reading!
I’ve got a copy of his book somewhere. He details his time in Korea. He and one other doctor served as consultants to the tv show I think, (something like that anyway). It was a good book. Book
Great stuff, thanks OP!
Personal advice from someone who bought both: The Martinis and Medicine collection is more expensive, but very much worth the extra.
I'll recommend Otto F. Apel M.D.'s "MASH: An Army Surgeon in Korea"; one of the best books I've read about the subject.
You should look at backpacking stores, or places that sell things for preppers! Even amazon - not too expensive, either!
Not an AMA, but I read this book a while back, and thought it was really good. It went into detail about the author's time, both in a MASH unit, and certain times where he was rotated to other parts of the war. It also talks the origins of the use of helicopter pilots within a war (coming up with the idea late into WWII, and implementing it in Korea). I kind of want to re-read it sometime myself.
Don’t forget to wear brown combat boots and not black ones. Enlisted wore brown and officers wore black.

You should be able to get the web belt from Amazon.

I found one on Amazon which is sold by TV Store Online which also has it listed on their site.

I have this one. I'm 5'5 190 and the L fits me perfectly
It's on Hulu, just checked. I always use Nordvpn for Hulu when I'm travelling outside the US and it does the trick. Really love how it works, great speeds and stable connections due to hundreds of servers to choose from. I personally grabbed it while their easter deal, found this one on reddit, maybe still works.
There are tons of websites with the subtitles. OpenSubtitle.org and subscene.com are two examples. I use Visual Studio Code to search within all the subtitles files at once.
Try this one then. If that doesn't work, just search for Rothco Vintage BDU Shirt
I don't know if this interests you, but you might want to check out MASH: An Army Surgeon in Korea by Dr. Apel.
Dr. Apel was a real Korean surgeon and many of his stories are the basics for real MASH characters. One of my favourite things I learned was that Five O'Clock Charlie was actually based on a real person!
>pel also recalls a North Korean aviator, nicknamed "Bedcheck Charlie," who would drop a phony grenade from an open-cockpit biplane, a story later filmed for the television series.
A fascinating read and gives you an awesome understanding of what they actually went through in a real MASH unit.
Congratulations on getting through all 11 seasons! I watched the show from beginning to end during its initial run, so the changes that occurred over time happened gradually and I didn’t notice all that much, except for the cast changes of course, and the change in tone by the later seasons. Since hindsight is 20/20, when I watch the early seasons now, I do tend to cringe a little at the sexism.
By the way, you can order Grape Nehi from Amazon.

As Hawkeye said to Radar, “Would I deny you a burp?”
u/nobull84, can you take a glare free scan of the photo (one app that does that is Photoscan) and then post it over here? It'll be a delight for all of us.
Thats awsome. I have always been partial to the yellow robe, despite Trapper being one of my least favorite characters. That red one is a gem. I would add a pair of these to the collars as if they were rank insignias. lol

Hmmm I see this though also:
Product Details
Format: NTSC
Language: English, French
Subtitles: Finnish
Region: Region 1 (US and Canada This DVD will probably NOT be viewable in other countries. Read more about DVD formats.)
Mine arrives tomorrow. I'll update if there is a problem but I don't foresee one. They likely took the wrong product description.
Edit: US Amazon site with the same ASIN no mention of PAL format: http://www.amazon.com/M-s-h-Complete-Collection/dp/B00P4FU74K
The Martinis and Medicine Complete Collection has two bonus discs. The only way to get them apart from that collection is on the "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" DVD (the finale as a separate release) which comes with those two bonus discs.
http://www.amazon.com/Goodbye-Farewell-Amen-Alan-Alda/dp/B000OT6V1E
That's the only difference content-wise between the 36-disc Martinis and Medicine Complete Collection and the 34-disc The Complete Series bundle (except for the obvious addition of the original 1970 Robert Altman film).
The girlfriend got it as a gift so I'm not sure, I checked though and its available here
