There is one here. They are an official Seiko reseller but also sell/repair other brands.
There was also a hole in the wall a few years ago, but I don't know if they still work.
Hi, there is an android app for basic Mauritian Creole. Its called Beginner Mauritian Creole. Here is the link to android app
> So, same system, different mentalities makes quite the difference!
Oh, I did have tuitions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. But I don't remember my parents pressuring me at all.
But I think my circumstances might have been exceptional. I had a lot of extra-curricular activities to support my learning.
Being the son of busy shopkeepers, at a very young age I was often placed under someone else's care. One of those send-offs was to accompany my elder brother to his tuitions.
When I started reading, my mother thought she couldn't afford to loan books for both her and me, so I was given her grown-up books to read -- I literally learned from these.
As I helped in the shop, I was used to doing arithmetic mentally, so I became good at maths.
In Standard V, I joined a group of children from different schools on a tour of Mauritius, where we visited factories, the Government House, Parliament, etc. That contributed to my geography knowledge.
My school teacher taught illiterate adults and disabled children for free in his spare time. I used to help him during these lessons. (I still remember vividly a mother carrying her disabled son on her back from Oyster Bay to Port-Mathurin so he could attend these night classes.)
Recalling all this reinforces my belief that there is much more that contributes to learning than the tuition grind of the CPE that many children went through.
A friend of mine's boyfriend kept his horse here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g2409355-d2409356-r142952692-The_Forbach_Stables-Esperance_Trebuchet.html. It looked very nice from the outside, but I never went horseback riding in Mauritius. I did ride a fourwheeler in the south once, but I must say I enjoyed hiking, diving and snorkeling more.
If you aren't deadset on horses or even if you are looking for other stuff, I recommend looking at http://www.yemayaadventures.com/. The owner is a friend of my wife.
The centre of the island is generously covered by bus services. However as you get further away from the centre the frequency of the buses becomes irregular. And you will have sometimes long waiting hours between buses.
I recommend this app it is a fairly complete in terms of explaining the most important bus routes. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foxfort.bus
If you are in port louis during the week days, let me know. I'll be happy to help. I personally soldered my board as well. I have spare solder 80/20 resin core as well if you need. I have a similar model to this. It works for my use.
I bought my 3080 with Compuspeed earlier in November. Prices were still 5k lower compared to local prices. I think they offered 1 year on the GPU(might be 2, need to check on the invoice).
Now, the same card on Amazon is 45k (shipping + duties included/ they are currently running a 10% off sale. Hence it will be 45k instead of 50k) Compuspeed is selling it at 62k.
For reference, I recently bought another card which is a 3060 gigabyte. Bought it on Amazon for 25k, and local shops were selling it at 33k.
Even with customs + shipping, you will save 5k minimum on a GPU.
I use 2 VPNS one free and one is the cheapest in the internet :
- BrightVPN, free VPN service with more than 120 countries ips available better than Express and NordVPN with no lags and no speed limit.
- MysteriumVPN, which VPN project with Crypto token called MYST, it cost like 0.4USD = 1MYST, i buy 10 MYST for like 5 months or 6 which is 4 dollars / semester, the more GB you consume the more MYST you need, 10 MYST = 130 GB of download for example.
I usually use the free VPN sometimes i use the other one if it is needed to
I found this app called Cards (I'll put the link below). Supposed to be sort of a wallet for all your debit/credit /loyalty and all NFC enabled cards. When i first installed it, was surprised to see local cards from the list and was able to add my cards like MCB debit, metro express card, etc.....(basically everything that's tap and pay) I just have to try it to see if the tap and pay actually works. Its not AP or SP but it looks quite similar.

Get an executive chair...
Something like this
Its way more comfortable... Been gaimg on this since 2012.. Best investment...
I use ProtonVPN, and Windscribe. These VPNs have paid and free versions.
These VPNs' free versions are super dope and have few restrictions, so you can check them out before deciding which one you prefer... but I have all 3!
Tried a couple. Mullvad is the best one here in Norway where I currently live. But in Mauritius it was absolutely useless.
for things like netflix or connecting to EU game servers, I have found windscribe to be best.

So theoretically, should work?
Couple random hints:
Ile aux Aigrettes (close to the airport) is a great park that has been restored to look as close to what Mauritius looked like before man, complete with giant tortoises and pink pigeons.
Jump off the Waterfall at Grand Riviere Sud Est. You can get there from land, but its a bit hard to describe, the boat tours aren't too expensive, just make sure you get one that will let you get off and jump.
Climb Le Pouce. You can do it from Moka or Port Louis. It is an easy ~1.5 hr hike if you are moderately fit and has amazing views.
The best food is cooked in the homes of Mauritius, but I would recommend this Restaurant in the South: La_Varangue_sur_Morne. I would go for lunch so that you can soak in the views.
Make sure to try street food! Dhal Puris and Rotis are amazing, cheap and available all over. Alouda is a great desert/drink that you should try in the Port Louis market.
All I have for today...PM me if you have specific questions.
Worth noting that at 8:00, he says Telegram is end to end encrypted - This is not totally right. Only secret chats in Telegram are end to end encrypted - https://telegram.org/faq#q-how-are-secret-chats-different
I've used these on karya effectively.
They take the poison back to the nest and that kills everything a few days later.
I think I have seen something similar on sale in Espace Maison.
I have one:

It's great for looking at the moon, especially for the price.
Just a note: it may take some time to get used to the operation.
> Mozilla VPN (not available yet though, iirc)
Mozilla VPN is based on Mullvad VPN. I contacted their support team, and they claim their bandwidth is up to 1 Gbps.
You may also want to consider DNS spoofing instead of, or in addition to a VPN. There are a lot of geo locked services I couldn’t access even with a VPN until I tried a DNS spoofing service called Unlocator, and that worked like a charm. Unlocator’s VPN is crap, though, so I wouldn’t get their package deal with both VPN and DNS. We use Unlocator for DNS and then Surfshark for VPN.
Look at the price on Amazon: Titan: The Life of John D. Rockefeller, Sr.: Chernow, Ron: 9781400077304: Amazon.com: Books , add shipping and tax.
Then call The Bookcourt and ask them for a quote. Pick whichever is cheaper.
