tutorial4scrubs I'm guessing it's this magical thing they call Geofilters
Nice.
By the way (and I hate to be pedantic here, but this is advice from one web dev to another) you could have accomplished the color changing text animation without any JS at all.
It's easily done via CSS, and it would run more smoothly and use much less resources client side (even though it's very simple JS, but still).
For some information, you can check out this link.
Great job, by the way! The extension is very funny!
Never stop developing! :)
Thanks but I haven't made that many montage parodies lately(2 school 4 cool) nor been too active in the sub and thought we could let it of to the current most popular creators.
But I'm working on some stuff that'll hopefully be out soon, fgts can always ask me shizzle over at ask.fm
Just to clarify one thing that leads to quick confusion: the content that you placed with-in 'style' (style="here") is not HTML. That's css. Inline css, which isn't the best practice.
You mentioned adding other meta information. Linking a document containing css through the 'head' is the best practice. Css styles are specific attributes that you can give HTML elements to change their dimensions and what the browser displays (colors, location, etc.).
If you'd like to learn more, I'd strongly suggest taking a look at these sites: http://code.org/ http://www.codecademy.com/
You can learn the basics of HTML in an afternoon. After that, it's just practice.
Oh yeah: if you want to try messing with an existing site (i.e. reddit) in real time to try and better understand how it all works, try messing around with chrome inspect (need chrome to use, though Firefox does have its own version). Right click an element on the site and click 'inspect element'. It'll display what HTML and css elements are making up the site and allow you to make temporary edits to them. Allowing you to experiment a bit.
Those edits will disappear as soon as you refresh the page, though.
