I got 5 hours on ViperOS with Boeffla. But the moment I take off underclocking, battery goes down to 3 hours SOT and heats up. Not scorching heat, but it feels lukewarm. I'm not into inbuilt battery modes, they just tune down the animation and background tasks, nothing to do with underclocking. But SOT is impractical imo to compare battery stats. It's that feeling you get when you know you're charging more often for 3100 mAh. I'd advise you to install Kernel Adiutor and tune down the processor to 1729 MHz. But since you wanna play PUBG, underclocking will lag a lot.
I probably know the reason to poor battery as well. Played the shit out of the phone when Mini Militia was everything, and played GTA SA, Shadowgun, The Room trilogy and whatnot. I was a kid back then, now have neither the interest nor the time to play. More into aesthetics and simplicity. But however simple and process-free I keep the OnePlus One, it won't last more than 15 hours, screen on or off.

Hey,
So this is an issue with the OPO, there's a work-around/fix for this with any type of headphones with an inline mic.
There's an app available on google play, SoundAbout https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix
Here you can change a setting, there was a thread with screenshots but I can't find it for the life of me so I'll just write a step by step.
Doing this your inline mic on all headphones should work perfectly fine, drop me an inbox if you still have any issues and I'll send you my exact settings.
Thanks
Just peel it off. I'm a fan of the glass covers from china, i'm using this one for the last couple years: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-Oneplus-one-Premium-Tempered-Glass-Screen-Protector-for-One-Plus-1-Toughened-protective-film-GODOSMITH/32229609373.html
It looks and operates same as the stock one.
I got this one on amazon: Middle Frame for Oneplus One LCD Display Touch Screen Assembly with Screen Digitizer Replacement Parts + Install Tools https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V9UBOSW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_Aey1utnXquJiT
And followed this guide: https://youtu.be/uCka8Eg_Vqo
I had a trouble getting the volume up/down buttons off and ended up breaking them. Other than that everything went fine per the guide. Just be sure you get under the wire/pad with some small tweezers and you'll be OK. I pulled too hard on the wire.
Yeah, I'm with you. I've had this app running for a week a few days back and it states that my battery is at 80% health right now. Because of age and charge cycles the 20% are now permanently gone.
You could try it, maybe your battery really is dying.
Voice app developer here.
You can try our audio recorder app - it as no ads. WAV, OGG are free, MP3 is a paid feature. You can record in Hi-Res Audio up to 32-bit/192kHz (though OnePlus One may not have hi-res hardware but still) and Multi-part WAV for long WAV recordings.
It is an updated version of this earlier app - so is very stable:
Flash recovery via fastboot (assuming you are in the fastboot mode and know how to use adb or fastboot commands):
plug your phone in and execute fastboot devices (it will check if you have the device recognised by your PC - if yes, then proceed)
place your recovery image (something like twrp.img - seeing the .img may vary on your settings; so if it only is twrp without .img don't worry) in the platform-tools folder from where you start adb/fastboot command prompt window
go into adb/fastboot command prompt window and type fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
if everything went okay, then type into adb/fastboot command prompt window fastboot reboot
(optional) if your phone did reboot into your new flashed recovery you are good to go; if not, then while executing fastboot reboot command press and hold the volume down key and it should boot up to your new recovery
More information on https://twrp.me/devices/oneplusone.html under the Fastboot Install Method (No Root Required) section.
God bless you. Have a great day.
This is the current "stable" version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox_beta
The standard Firefox build is still based on the legacy Fennec and will soon be phased out.
> Just use greenify
Hasn't Greenify been superseded by Android's native Doze mode and some other battery-saving apps such as ForceDoze? I'd have to use a cracked version of Greenify because I don't have Google Play services installed.
>disable pocket detection and sensor checks
Are these enabled by default?
>[disable] aggressive doze mode
Is "aggressive doze" a Greenify feature?
EDIT: About Android Oreo's new "background activity" setting: https://www.androidpolice.com/2017/08/22/android-oreo-feature-spotlight-can-force-androids-new-background-limits-old-apps/
From the pictures alone it looks good. The url makes you think that it includes a mid frame, when the photos do not.
For reference, this is the one that I just bought. It works well, and has fully back lit buttons.

The Poetic Revolution series is an exact copy (Very good quality copy, may I add) of the Otterbox.

I use this case it is pretty much like an otterbox, and I've also put on a tempered glass screen protector. I've had no issues thus far and I end up on a lot of construction sites for work.
Sorry in advance for not actually answering your question, but this is something I used to also worry about since I can't run without music. The "solution" I went with was to get a pair of pants with pockets deep enough that my One wasn't sticking out (which wasn't as easy as it sounds actually!)
Also, not just the One, but all these new big phones would be uncomfortable to use with an armband, don't you think?
EDIT: If you're curious, I ended up buying this pair. The pockets aren't exactly massive, but since the pockets are pretty tight, the phone doesn't really bounce around.
If you have CM13, your devices bootloader should be unlocked. Do this.
download this file
turn off your phone
hold down the power and volume down button until it turns on
This should bring you into a recovery called TWRP. From here select install/downloads/Super su beta/ flash.
After it is done, press reboot system.
CAUTION: If it asks you if you want to root, SELECT DO NOT INSTALL.
Your device should boot up. If it turns off and on a couple times, LEAVE It. It's completely normal.
When it's done, download ROOT Checker from the play store. It will tell you if it worked.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
After unlocking the bootloader (which will wipe the phone, so always do it first) and rooting it I would change the DPI using this handy little app to something a little more reasonable like 380.
Then go mad and install all your favourite apps and games!
I was having the same problem. The new messaging app in cm12 is a stripped down version of Google Messenger.
Just download it off the play store and set it as your default. They're virtually the same with messenger having a few extra features.
