From what I remember, there should be an option to join the beta on the Android App Store page (near the bottom?): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
It can take 30 minutes or more for the beta update to show up as an update.

Several browsers allow you to open links in incognito by default, Firefox Preview being the best I'd recommend
I use an app called "define"
Which takes what ever you copy and gives you a notification which you can click on and then you can define a word you select or you can select multiple words and click the search button for goofle results.
You would touch the comment to select > the three dots > copy comment > then the define notification pops up and you can select whatever you want and hit search
Bit of a mess around bit works well enough
