Apps can't have their start with Reddit. Happened with the app I use, Now for Reddit (formerly Reddit Now).
It's constantly updated, and the dev is pretty responsive on r/redditnow! Check here for Google Play.
You can get different apps to use Reddit on your phone, I personally don't use the official app, I use Now for Reddit! I highly recommend it.
It's the best Reddit client on Android according to me. I recommend switching to the black theme if you do use this.
/u/Miloco, the developer behind Now for Reddit does an amazing job. It's one of the best reddit apps out there. And he's always taking suggestions/feedback/requests from his users to make the app even better.
It's called "Now for Reddit". The dev is pretty responsive to feature requests and bug reports, check out /r/redditnow and https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now&hl=en
Reddit Now has filters! Among with many others, but I just like using Now. You can also filter subs directly from /r/all with just 2 taps so it's really easy to filter out the newest latest political bullshit subs.
here's my current filter list, I add more when I see them pop up on /r/all, doesn't matter which "side", they all gotta go -
/r/politics /r/the_donald /r/sandersforpresident /r/hillaryforprison /r/enoughtrumpspam /r/conservative /r/libertarian /r/ourpresident /r/political_revolution /r/uncensorednews /r/enough_sanders_spam /r/impeach_trump /r/latestagecapitalism /r/bannedfromthe_donald /r/fuckthealtright /r/politicalhumor /r/the_regret /r/Trumpgret /r/esist
also if you want throw /r/pics on there, but it occasionally has well, pictures, so I leave it off
I also filter /r/kotakuinaction /r/tumblrinaction /r/pussypassdenied /r/cringeanarchy /r/subredditdrama and /r/cringepics because drama and cringe gets me down :( :( :( :(
Reddit Now has no pop ups, the ads are barely noticeable (you can pay to remove them) it supports multiple accounts and uploading to imgur straight from the app for free also supports gifv and albums and looks great. You should give it a try.
It seems that your comment contains 1 or more links that are hard to tap for mobile users. I will extend those so they're easier for our sausage fingers to click!
Here is link number 1 - Previous text "Now"

Mobile app? On Android, lots of the not-official apps have the ability to filter out subs from r/all. I recommend Now for Reddit.
For RES? After you install RES, if you see a post from a subreddit that you don't like, for example:
> You won't believe this post!
> submitted by example_donger to example_sub
Hover over "example_sub", and a pop-up should appear. Click on the green "+ filter" button to filter out that sub.
E: To clarify, Reddit Enhancement Suite is a web browser extension.
Speaking as a missionary from the small yet sturdy church of Reddit Now, no thank you.
Thank you, /u/Miloco for making one of the most solid and beautiful apps I've ever used!
From what I remember, there should be an option to join the beta on the Android App Store page (near the bottom?): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
It can take 30 minutes or more for the beta update to show up as an update.
Io uso Now for Reddit (ex Reddit Now).
Molto simile a sync ma molto più leggibile. L'unico "problema" è che non ha la visualizzazione in cards che mi farebbe comodo sul tablet.
Relay da dove esce? Comunque mi pare simile a Now, ora la provo.
Plugging my favorite Android app, Now for Reddit. Simple UX/UI.

I've been using Now for Reddit for years (at least 5 if I had to guess), and honestly if there's one thought I've never had over these years, was whether I should change to a different Reddit app.
Good performance. Good non-material design. Has all functionalities that I need. Good support.
At the end, it always comes down to personal preference, but give it a try if you haven't already.
Wait I'm using the Official reddit app.
Isn't that what this sub is for?
Are you referring to the App "New for Reddit"?
Please try the following:
This should work. If it doesn't please leave a comment below.
I would highly recommend Now for Reddit. It's has custom home pages, a dark theme, subreddit menu as well as the tabs across the top. The developer regularly responds to requests on their subreddit too.
I use now for reddit just because I can swipe between subreddits. It's much faster to browse, because I browse certain subreddits daily.
Eu uso o Now for Reddit.
Por fim voltei ao Now for Reddit.
I used Now for Reddit before switching to Slide. IIRC it played GIFs/videos immediately, though it might pause to buffer. Both are equally great IMO.
If you have an android (and maybe an iphone) the "Now for Reddit" app shows the flair.
Here is a link to the Google play page: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
Testei mas não gostei, viciei no meu.
Now for Reddit - Android
Voltar as páginas só deslizando pro lado é muito bom, não consigo usar outros. Testem!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
I feel like everyone should give Now for Reddit a week's chance of use. I've used Sync and Reddit is fun (rif I used first) and Now for Reddit is just the easiest to use with built-in everything.
Link for those who are willing to give it a shot: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
yeah kind of like how Instagram works or other Reddit apps work on Android.
Like for example, Now for Reddit on Android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now&hl=en
Now for reddit >is ~~great~~ ^for /r/formatting
and everything else.
You should give it a shot.
Thanks for the link!
Been using Now for Reddit [formerly, Reddit Now] for a while (in fact my first default Reddit app)
I kinda discover this app thanks to your shoutout to Pulse for Reddit. after playing around with [Pulse], I decided to try out this app. pretty decent but wasn't the app that I'm looking for (probally due to no Chrome Custom Tabs).
and then, Slide v4.3 happened.
this became my go-to Reddit app. (again, I'm a Chrome Custom Tabs "fangirlz" type of a person, Imamalekimjoking)
all it needs is a couple of Stability, little incresed in Speed and some Polished and this might potentially become one of the few best Reddit apps that all Android users MUST get!
now, speaking of feedbacks.
I agree! Weather Timeline is definitely one of my new favorite apps, absolutely beautiful yet simple.
Also, would recommend Now for Reddit (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now&hl=en) to the both of you. :)
UPD: Relay for Reddit тоже принял пароль.
That's exactly my thought. Way back when I announced it, Apollo's icon was literally the Reddit alien, because that was okay back then. Late 2015 they changed the rule, don't use Snoo, that's fine, I get it, you don't want confusion around the official trademark.
So I look around, see what's acceptable, there's tons of apps that show similarities to Snoo (in addition to the above, Antenna just added an extra antenna, Now is just a close up of Snoo with a cool haircut, etc.)
So before launching back in May I contacted them with my new icon saying I'm launching soon can you please tell me ASAP if this is okay. Months go by without response, I assume it's okay given the lack of response and the precedent set by other icons, and I launch the app. I get a call today saying they updated the ticket finally in September saying it's rejected because I contacted the wrong department and I should contact trademark instead. Sure enough I check and they did, dumb on my part I guess, but after months of silence I stopped checking and assume all was well.
It's just frustrating, because you look at other apps where since at least late 2015 it's fine to be somewhat similar, as long as you don't use Snoo directly (or apparently that's fine in some cases), but suddenly they're really strict about it. For Apollo.
I'm just frustrated. I'll change it, even though I don't see the need to, I just hope they'll be reasonable about it.
For what it may help, I'm on https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
If you don't mind never receiving alerts ever again.
Am I the only person left who uses Now for Reddit?
I... I'm so lonely...
Hey All
I released version 5 of Now for Reddit a few days ago.
Google Play store link.
The goal with version 5 was to improve usability and make the interface more consistent throughout. The update also uses new material design components such as Bottom Sheets and adds many new features.
Here's a quick video and an album of screenshots showing a few of the new changes in version 5.
Features
A new comment control panel changes the way you interact with comments. Rather than having buttons at the top of the screen within the action bar the new panel slides in from the bottom of the screen.
Pull to refresh has been added.
Material animations have been applied to post buttons.
Nearly all screens within the app now utilise translucent system bars - meaning every inch of your screen is used to display content. Subreddit header imagery is displayed behind the status and action bars, and translucent navigation bars allow the subreddit list to span the full height of your screen.
A new image viewer has been added along with a new GIF/GIFV/Gfycat player. Streamable videos are also now natively supported.
The submit post screen has been overhauled and now features a rich text editor for text posts and improved image uploading capabilities.
The text editor for writing comments and messages has been updated to material design.
User profiles are now displayed full screen.
I hope you like version 5, if you have any feedback I'll gladly answer any comments or feel free to post over in /r/redditnow.
Enjoy!
There you go, bro.
Sieht echt gut aus, finde ich zumindest.
Reddit Now - a nice, feature packed Reddit app that is lightweight and performant
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
It's called now for reddit. Don't know if it's available on ios
Now for Reddit is my reddit browser of choice; while I primarily use the dark theme, there is a black theme as well.
Swipe for Facebook has a bunch of different themes; the top four from that list, I think, (including AMOLED) are in the free version.
I use Now for Reddit.
IMHO, The android equivalent of Narwhal is Now for Reddit: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now&hl=en
Nope, it's Now For Reddit, now.
Mosh pit is indeed a glorious way to die for a phone! \m/
So for reddit I must recommend "now for reddit" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now just made the switch from reddit is fun and it makes rif to look retarded.
For writing I've started using writer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jamesmc.writer clean app.
Using keep for all notes and stuff to remember: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.keep can also share notes now :)
... And clipper+ is a must https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fi.rojekti.clipper
I've been using Now For Reddit. for a while now.
Пока остановился на Now for Reddit https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
As someone who recently switched from Android to IPhone, Now for Reddit was my jam.

Try Now for Reddit
Now for Reddit with the dark theme. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
If you mean a tab for each subreddit you subscribe to, then Now for Reddit does that pretty well.
I use now for reddit in your phone. No need for gold to use the filters, it's been great for me
I find Now for Reddit to be pretty good.
It's an app called "Now for Reddit" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now&hl=en
Acho que sou a unica pessoa que usa o Now for Reddit, nunca vejo ninguem citar ele nessas discussões.
I've been using Reddit Now lately - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now but Reddit is fun is awesome too.
Reddit Now is pretty good.
I haven't used it in years, but Now For Reddit had that.
Not if you use an app that displays links in big boxes at the end of comments!
I cannot recommend r/redditnow enough. I've tried many Reddit apps and this is the one that suited me personally the most

Okay, it seems like the Reddit app I am using doesn't render text like it is supposed to.
Now for Reddit I'm using this and it has that option.
Мне понравился Now for Reddit
Единственное тут чата вроде нету.
Sorry. It had to change names when they rolled out their official one. Here it is:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
I use Now for Reddit.
Now for Reddit is, by far, the best.
You are all very welcome.
I'm a big fan of Now:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
It's pretty big link with good reddit client. :)
I'll use this opportunity to plug Reddit Now.
That ad looks annoying. I use Now for reddit and the ads are much more discreet.
App I use most is "Now For Reddit". Its user friendly for me. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
Currently my favorite game is "world of tanks blitz". This one transfers to my PC. It is a quick 7 min game or one that you can sit at for hours. You can play for free, but paying will get you an advantage. Not a fan of the community though. Im new and get treated like it in a bad way. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.wargaming.wot.blitz
Heavy forum user? I highly recommend "Tapatalk". Makes your favorite forums mobile friendly.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quoord.tapatalkpro.activity
this is the one I've been using since years ago, don't have a single complain about it:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
I use Now for Reddit
Now for Reddit does it too I believe. On the phone, I much prefer Now over Sync, but my mileage varies.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
I use now for reddit. It has tabs for different subreddits. Screenshot.
Io mi trovo molto bene con Now for Reddit
I use "Now for Reddit" and it's great :D https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
Εγώ έχω το Now for Reddit και γενικά δεν έχω κάποιο πρόβλημα.
They don't show on my phone either, using this app
only one atm - now for reddit :) i love the interface
I've been using Now for reddit. Just log in with your Reddit account.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
Best reddit app for mobile, at least for me.
I use Now for Reddit.
Oh, you're awake? Want to do it now then? By the way, here
Honestly just a rip off of Now for Reddit
I'm surprised this app isn't more popular. It's certainly the best Reddit app I've tried.
Wrong link. It should be: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now&hl=zh_TW
front page, on phone. Reddit Now
Using Now for Reddit on Android.
This is Now for Reddit
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now
I use Now for Reddit, I find it a very fully featured app.
I use "Now for reddit" myself.
There are a myriad of other opinions and options in these threads (I probably missed a half dozen, but these should cover the major options) as well:

I use the android app: now for reddit app
Hmm. I used to use BaconIt instead.
I use Reddit Now, you should check out its page.
I use Reddit now. Though I want a reddit app that actually fetches my messages and a material-ish design.
No love for Reddit Now?
I use Reddit Now. Doesn't have a reading mode in the integrated browser unfortunately.
I think it's Now
Yeah, I'm not saying it's the most lightweight reddit app but it's in no way a memory hog either. My phone has 3 GB of RAM so it's not an issue. I way prefer its looks and feature set over any other reddit apps I've tried (which are a lot). My #2 would be Now for reddit.
Check out Now for Reddit. It still has ads, but the dev is super active, it features the best implementation of Material Design that I have seen, and the app is much easier to use than others. You'll be paying to remove ads just about wherever you go, so might as well pick a good one.
Is where it's at.
Try Now For Reddit ( r/redditnow ) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phyora.apps.reddit_now&hl=en_US&gl=US app. It's super, one of the only apps I've ever bought!
