Yes! I own a Nesco Dehydrator similar to this one. It actually comes with a book that gives you the drying times and temps for different fruits.

Without knowing the specifics of what you want to dry, I'll be general. Cut or slice to the desired size (thicker will take longer. It takes a few tries to get the perfect size for you).

Then arrange on the trays with NO OVERLAP. Leave room between each piece. It's all about airflow!

Prep your fruit before drying by cutting, then as some suggest dipping in some lemon juice. I have not found the lemon juice step to be necessary, but some suggest it, so I'll include it here as an option. Then to get that extra sweet taste you need to add some white sugar to the sliced fruit. A simple sprinkle over top is fine. I like to put some more sugar on half way through when I flip the pieces (not required, but adds to it imo). You can also experiment by adding things to the sugar like cinnamon. A favourite of mine and friends/family is to use the pre-sliced pineapple in cans and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Drying times will vary too much for me to tell you exact ones. It can be anywhere from 3 to 12 hours depending on thickness, fruit type, and desired dryness. The dryer it is the longer it will keep. If you like them a bit gummier, just keep in mind they can spoil faster. I'd suggest checking in on it every couple hours until you reach your desired dryness. Then keep a little notebook with your own drying times by experience.

Apples are probably the easiest place to start as they are cheap, forgiving, and easy to work with. The pineapple is pretty easy too.

Good luck and feel free to ask me anything else about dehydrating. It's become a fun hobby for not just dried fruit, but jerky, dried veggies, and drying/preserving my own herbs.

Everyone should have active charcoal for this very reason. As soon as you eat something questionable or raw like this, pop one or two and you don't have to worry about it anymore. If you take it within 30 minutes you should be ok... After that active charcoal probably won't work. Also works on pets that eat something they shouldn't. Just make sure it's a fast VPN because some will reduce your speed quite a lot. I use VYPR VPN personally and really have had a good experience with it. It also has a "Chamelon" mode that lets you watch Netflix or other VPN-blocking services over the VPN, which is pretty rare. I also have used Cactus VPN, Private Internet Access, and ExpressVPN with pretty good success. Just realize that some services do log your traffic and don't expect it to fully cover your tracks.

Everyone needs different amounts. I'm sure if it works for OP, 5mg is fine. I used to take 9mg and never had a problem.

ETA: Since people are still insisting that they know how much melatonin OP should take; WebMd (amongst other sources) recommends anywhere between 0.5mg to 12mg depending on what specifically is making it difficult to sleep. I'm sure there are other factors as well, possibly weight and past use. There's also a section about using 20mg to 40mg during chemotherapy, which is higher than even I thought doses could be. As with any medication or supplement, be aware and on the lookout for side affects, and talk to your doctor if you're worried or unsure about the proper dosage. Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone and while it can cause some nasty side affects if you're reckless, death by overdose is not one of them, at least according to the first 3 pages of results when I googled "can you overdose on melatonin?"

Any food can be made too look amazing if you give it enough time and care. If you need to slap that shit together in 30 seconds and you're paid minimum wage, of course it's not going to look as good. Also I'm guessing that the meat in the commercial picture is actually pretty much raw in the middle, only lightly searing it to preserve the moisture of the meat while giving it an appetizing colour.

That said, yes sound quality is subjective to the listener. Sennheiser has very many sound signatures depending on what you are looking for. Getting a pair of headphones that are designed for mastering audio will always be your best choice for the most versatile headphones for all types of audio.

How they feel when you wear them will always be the biggest issue with these types of headphones. Do you like leather, velour, leather substitutes or fabrics. Do you like a metal head band or plastic. Are the headphones secure or too tight? Those are the questions you need to go in to a store to find out.

Audio quality though.... If you are moving from a fashion brand or a regular mainstream brand like samsung, phillips, koss, or entry level "street wear" sony headphones then audio quality isn't a concern for you and anything I listed will blow the shit out of what ever it is you had been using previously. If you happen to be an audiophile then you are going to need to sit down and make sure that the sound signature is what you are expecting.

I'd say, get your double boiler ready, make sure the water is only at a simmer, put the chocolate in and stir continuously while scraping the sides with a spatula consistently, and when it reads about 87 or 88, take it off the double boiler and stir until any remaining lumps of chocolate have melted.

If you're open to suggestions on what to try next time, here are my first thoughts of how I'd do something similar while still keeping it pretty simple:

Instead of making ropes for the flames, roll out a thin sheet of the green clay. Trace 2D flame shapes into the sheet (e.g.), then cut them out with a small, sharp blade (like a scalpel or craft knife). Smooth the edges, then layer them around the outside of the skull.

Some other things you can do it make it more impressive would be to layer slightly different colors of green working from the inside to the outside. If you can find something with a bit of shimmer or translucence to it, or mix in some "opal" clay, that might be even better.

Get yourself a pair of RHA earbuds. The ones I got were $35 on Amazon and lasted over a year. I used them all day at work and even slept with them every night. Best bang-for-the-buck earbuds I've ever owned. They sound really good as well.

They also have a three-year warranty. Mine just recently broke and I now work from home, so I haven't attempted to exchange them yet or have experienced whether or not that process is a pain in the ass.

The cake looks good to eat, but some practice will go a long way to helping your aesthetics.

1) You need to level your cake layers. Cut off the tops with a serrated bread knife or buy a cake leveler. If you're worried about waste, set the trimmings aside for a trifle, or snack on them later.

2) You should crumb coat your cake. Put your layers together, then apply a thin, even coating of icing to the top and sides (you should be able to see the cake through the icing), then place in the fridge for at least a few hours to lock in crumbs and keep the layers from sliding. A bench scraper, turntable and offset spatula are helpful.

3) You appear to have put an entire gingerbread house on top of the cake, the picture clearly shows flat cookies stuck into the cake. Think pop up book, not diorama.

4) Your cookies do not appear to be rolled evenly. You need to practice rolling them to even thickness and keep your dough cold by putting it in the fridge for a few minutes before you use cookie cutters. Chill them in the fridge for about 15 minutes before placing into a preheated oven, by the time the butter starts to melt, the starches in the cookies will have set and the cookies will not spread.

5) Royal icing takes practice, there are lots of videos on YouTube that can help. In general, you need thick frosting for piping, if you drag your spoon through it, it should take about 10 seconds for the icing to fill in the trail. Keep the tip of the icing bag just over the cookie at a 45 deg angle, not touching it. You need to use firm, even pressure when squeezing the bag, it helps to brace your elbow on the table. The wispy effects are achieved by piping a line of icing, then using a small food safe paintbrush to taper the edges. Again, YouTube videos and practice are key.

Aphogee has a 2 step treatment that is a lifesaver. The first half is a protein treatment you dry on low until it's crunchy. Then you do the 2nd part to soften. I have had every color in the universe and this helped me a ton. No more heat for a while either you're gonna make the breakage worse. Good luck.

I took a look at the reviews and giggled that for every bad review someone enters a positive 4 star review that almost contradict exactly what the complaint is about.

These look great, I worked in a french kitchen for years, get a scale. I don’t know what the recipe said but in real life these are built upside down in a special mold and they take days, when in doubt it should be colder, plan on it taking days to make. You might want to take Dominique Ansel’s Masterclass I think you can pirate it haha.
