I figure it will probably be soon since iOS got it a bit ago, but I got tired of waiting and picked up PS Remote Play Unlimited instead. I was waffling on picking up a PS4 controller to use with the official Sony app, but then asked myself why I was willing to pay 60$ for a controller when I could pay 5$ for an app that works with what I have. I've been using that one with my dualsense for a few weeks now and it's worked flawlessly.
No worries mate. Thanks for testing.
Not sure if it’ll make a difference but this is the one I use.
I just cycle it round to either an empty input (or the NSwitch) before I start remote play. Good luck mate.
Actually it's possible I'm on Samsung myself. Thank god google play store allows 3rd party apps. It's not free though. It's about $7 or 8 bucks if I remember. Here's the link to the app PS Play it's called honestly it's even better than the official Sony one, tons of options worth to check out and yes it supports the dualsense correctly.

screen shot of internet speed :/
PS4 pro & this router
Its gotta be a bug. Is ANYONE able to get 1080p?
Not much there, I'm afraid. You can't tell if the channels you're using are congested just by the number, you have to look at what other routers in your area are using. I use this Android app which gives a picture of each competing network and the part of the spectrum it occupies, so you can pick the "most open" channel. I don't know if an app like that is possible on iOS -- after posting the above, I had a quick search around to see if the information I get from Android is available on iOS, and I saw a lot of complaints that not only is the actual link speed not displayed, they don't even expose that information for 3rd party apps to look at, so it's not possible to find it out at all.
It's not the end of the world, though. Even if you don't have an easy way to tell which channel(s) are the least congested, you could still try testing different channels manually and seeing if one of them results in a better Remote Play experience.
Check on Youtube. There is an older version of DS4 that is not being updated. The current version is 3.0.18. Second link is from the Youtube video.
DS5 works with Remote Play because Sony has its own "driver" for it. There may be other tools to map the DS5 to Xinput. Maybe DS4Windows works for DS5 too?
i'm going to go with not a good one, heh
so, in theory, it should do 100mbps and you should be fine
but, since it's 10/100, if say one of your patch cords was less than awesome, it may restrict you back to 10mbps and that'll for sure limit you to 720p
so imo, next step would be to replace the patch cords. make sure you get at LEAST cat5 rated patch cords, cat6 if they're easily available
if you're within your return window, I'd be awfully tempted to also return the switch, and get a much more modern gigabit switch. they're dirt cheap these days too
PS Play also lets you use any controller. I just got a DualSense to use with it. This app is $4.99 on Google Play and Amazon App store's but I've never heard of Chiaki so I will check it out.

Hi, just wanted to mention another option. I'm the developer of PSPlay a 3rd Party Remote Play client which is available on the Play Store :) It's currently in early access but should work quite well. It's not free though but cheaper than Repl4y and PStreamer. Any feedback is appreciated and I will add more features and improvemsoon. You can check it out here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=psplay.grill.com Android TV is supported as well.
Just wanted to mention that there is also PSPlay which is available on the Google Play Store. I'm the developer of PSPlay and it's currently in beta but should work fine. It's not free though but a lot cheaper than PStreamer. A new update which will include PIP, multi window support and UPnP will be available soon. And of course you can use any controller with PSPlay and it supports mobile data.
You can download PSPlay from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=psplay.grill.com&hl=en_US All other information is written in the app description. If you have any questions or feedback please free to contact me.
Razer has a new controller like this called the Kishi. It seems like it's pretty good and very Switch-like but is a little expensive still. It appears to have a physical usb-c connection. I have it on my wishlist so I can't speak to how well it works or what size phones it supports though. amazon.com/Razer-Kishi-Controller-Android-Passthrough-Thumbsticks/dp/B086X8DHN2
