Only Al-Kafi and Nahjul Balagha have been translated in English (in their full) to the best of my knowledge. You also know that the other three books are pretty much exclusively on fiqh (ahkam) topics, right? Are you interested in reading a bunch of narrations on legal issues?
I would recommend looking into <em>Mizan al-Hikmah</em> (<em>The Scale of Wisdom</em>) which is a much more contemporary compilation that focuses on ahadith that are of interest to lay Muslims.
As for Al-Kafi and Nahjul Balagha, you could find print versions on Amazon. For Al-Kafi, since again, unless you have a specific interest in legal issues, you don't need to go and get all 8 volumes that make up all 35 books. I would actually recommend the Islamic Texts Institute edition, which has a commentary written with a contemporary Western audience in mind. They recently put out book 3, and the first two books have been available for a while (books 1-4 make up the first "volume" of the other English edition, and books 1-8 cover Usul al-Kafi, which emphasizes topics of belief).
The answer to your question is actually a full book. Easy read and great introduction to the Shia system of hadith

The Israeli hostility to Iran (and their influence-peddling and AIPAC lobbying in the US) is very simple to explain and has been written about in an award-winning book by Trita Parsi in "Treacherous Alliance" http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/treacherous-alliance-trita-parsi/1117391793?ean=9780300143119&itm=1&usri=9780300143119
Basically, particularly now that the ColdWar is over, Israel is a third wheel and both the Saudis and Israelis fear that a US-Iran deal would lead to Iran's rise in the region, at their cost.
When Nixon decided that the US should recognize China, he had to push Taiwan and the pro-Taiwanese lobby aside. (Until then the US had recognized Taiwan as the official China) Israel doesnt want to becomw a Taiwan. But on the other hand, Israel is a dead end and has nothing to offer the US.
I use the translation by Mr. Ali Quli Qarai, the English translation is beside the aya’s though. Hope this helps.

If anyone is curious, here is the link for it in the Google Play store: VR Karbala 360°.
> VR Karbala is an innovative project that is aiming to bring the tragic incident of Karbala to life. Through virtual reality, VR Karbala is aiming to allow its user to walk among the companions of Imam (as), praying behind the Imam (as), listen to the heartbreaking cry of the children, ride along with Abbas (as), see the frustration of Zaynab (sa), feel the grief of Imam Hussain (as) and the vulnerability of Imam Zaynul Abadeen (as).

That particular edition is out of print, and an older translation. IIt's literally $20 for the in-print edition
https://www.amazon.com/dp/0991430867/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_DTKM76M83BEB3TP1HD22
This book was referred to by Sheikh Jaffer Ladak in this lecture last year. It goes into much deeper details on the rulings than the other risalah's I've seen, and was written specifically for a western audience
It's also available on Amazon if you prefer a physical copy
There's also an app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.iqvis.nvolv.muslimgroup with last year's schedule and this upcoming year's schedule whenever it gets announced.
<strong>Shi'ite Islam</strong> by Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabatabai gives an excellent overview of Shia Islam. It is easy to read, well-translated into English by Seyyed Hossein Nasr, one of the Islamic world's pre-eminent modern philosophers. Highly recommended!
I've copied them from an app in android called "Shia hadith browser", you can download it from Google play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hadith.pro&hl=en&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Dshia+hadith+pro&pcampaignid=APPU_1_rdVVVv_5JYL5-AH81LNA
It has hundreds of Shi'i hadith categorized by topic.
A more literal translation of the first hadith:
"If qualities -were- differentiated, honesty was with bravery, and cowardice with lie."
Of the second one: "Death and not disgrace, frugality and not demanding".
Usually tafsir books have many volumes so I’m not sure is a single physical copy in english. There are many translated tafsir online however.
I know it is an absurdity, and no doubt an Ayatollah like Hussein-Ali Montazeri would know such a thing. My question is did he write it? And if he did, why would he say such a thing? They cite his memoir which can be found here, but I can't read them because they are in Persian.
You can ask on the Ask Those Who Know app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.askthosewhoknow
You can ask an Alim who is a representative of your marja here and they reply relatively quickly.
Instead of asking random laypersons, and getting ten different answers (and none of them authoritative), why don't you ask your Marja for an authoritative answer?

They're quite cheap and easy to carry anywhere.
The best one is done by a professor of English at the University of Tehran, Dr. Ali Quli Qarai. Its also notable in that it preserves the meanings of verses dedicated to honoring Ahlul Bayt, instead of the weird additions by Sunni translators.

Salam, i can’t help you finding a Shia community in Berlin as i’m not based there. I see you’re willing to learn to pray and if you can’t get one from a local Shia mosque i will gladly send you a Turbah from Karbala if you’re in need of one.
It’s amazing that you have gotten the chance to visit imam Reza AS. Since last year Iraq had launched a visa on arrival program for European passport holders. I went last year and for me it was a life changing experience. Since you like traveling around the middle east, if you get the chance, i recommend to try to go during the days of Ashura/Arbaeen. To visit the shrines of Imam Ali AS and imam Hussain AS. You can read more about it here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arba%27een_Pilgrimage
Once you learned how to pray the next time you visit a shrine i highly recommend brining this book: https://www.amazon.de/Mafatih-al-Jinan-Treasury-Translation-Transliteration/dp/1724879243 It tells you exactly what practices are recommended to preform at each specific shrine.
Wishing you all the best on your journey.
Salam alaykum,
I recommend حقيبة المومين (Haqibat al-Momin) for Android and Shia+ for iOS.
You can change the language in Haqibat al-Momin in settings and it is also available for iOS.

An authoritative answer to sort of question can only be given by a Marja (a senior religious scholar whose seniority and qualifications makes you consider his rulings to be authoritative. This video explains it.)
You can ask alim that is a Marja's representative using the Ask Those Who Know App

May I suggest to get kindle then, and buy e book....it takes some time to adjust but worth it. I know its hard for some book readers.

Otherwise you can open a postbox account at a post office and request someone to post the hardcopy to your mailbox. You can pay them for price + shipping.
There are some great new publishers (with English as their first language) who are working on new/re translations of popular books. Not necessarily on the topics you need at the moment but may interest you.
Also read Azkaar its not specific for Jinn but in general its to protect you etc and the same with the Manzil - https://www.slideshare.net/smkchemomoi/ayat-manzil
Read the Azkaar at Fajr and Asr, Manzil either Maghrib or Isha
There are verses which you could take and apply to Imam Al Mahdi AS in the (Dhahir) Quran. But we have a lot of hadiths from the Imams AS saying x verse is about the Mahdi AS and sometimes it says "the Mahdi and his companions" or "the Qaim and his companions". You can refer to this book by Sayed Shirazi:
https://www.amazon.com/Mahdi-Quran-Ayatollah-Sayed-Shirazi/dp/1976235790
Yes you are right. In a unique book that I read recently, I realized that wherever Imam Reza (as) set foot on his journey from Medina to Merv, he was full of blessings and prosperity. By traveling in this direction, the researcher has narrated ninety footholds. I recommend you read it too, it's great. I will put the link. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NNH7MP2
Hi. Recently I read a great book that I want to introduce you ,called "step by step whith the sun" pictorial narration of Imam Reza migration route, from Medina to Merv. I have never seen such a book. You will definitely like it. You can get it from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NNH7MP2

There's one by Muttahari where he provides commentary along the whole way, it is really really really good. PM me if you want more info
edit: Just editing my comment for future eyeballs as I got more than 1 PM, these are the details of the specific book I'm talking about: book ISBN is 978-0-940368-43-9
This book has super good english, very rarely do I find mistakes and when I do theyr'e minor. Maybe a mistake once every 50 pages and super minor, like maybe missing an 'e' or something, nothing grammatical or syntactical in almost all cases. It is edited by Yasin Al - Jabouri, here is the link to the book that I specifically bought: http://www.bookdepository.com/Nahjul-Balagh-Ali-Ibn-Abu-Talib-S-Rez/9780940368422
That is where I bought it from and the cheapest place, other places are $200+, this one is only around $60. Very nice quality of finish to the book as well in terms of hardcover etc. Unfortunately they seem out of stock, but keep an eye out for it.
Whatever.
I can give you several bibliographies of sources, but start with the scholarship of Mohammad Ali Amir-Moezzi, esp. his The Divine Guide in Early Shiism https://libgen.is/book/index.php?md5=655E474BAF2BB7CD4AFA4457EBE88CE0
Even if you had a book of Sahih hadith, you wouldn't be able refute Sunni claims because just like their books are not proof on us, ours are not on them.
Secondly, their hadith authentication principles are fallacious. They quote a lot of unscrupulous characters (Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman, Aisha, Abu Hurayra, Shimr, to name a few) as if they're trustworthy. I believe someone in the comments shared an hour long YouTube video debunking Farid which goes into some level of depth into the Sunni hadith authentication process.
See if you can pick this book up from somewhere to learn more about Rijal in Shia hadith.

Any and all feedback would be incredibly helpful. Really looking to make this as useful as possible, especially for non - Shias (so please do share around and provide feedback @lispective on Instagram!)
Read this. Please :)
Also the safavid thing is also completely false, it's just wahhabi propaganda so they can feel better about Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman conquering lands which is against the sunnah of the Prophet. And zanjeer is haram, there's actually a post from a few hours ago on this subreddit you should check out and follow.

Use the translation of Ali Quli Qarai. Word by word "Shia" translation. You can compare different translation for each verse also. Not sure about tafsir.
This app is good, user interface in 15 languages, translation and tafaseer in 35+ languages, 30+ reciters included, supports word by word in many languages: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.greentech.quran
Why does it matter if it's Shia?

You may like to read up on the history of the succession to the Prophet (s.a.w.a.). Wilfred Madelung’s <em>The Succession to the Muhammad</em>, published by Cambridge University Press, is an academic exploration of the subject which also happens to “take up the Shi’i cause, arguing in defence of the succession” of Imam Ali (a.s.).
Najam Haider’s <em>Shi’i Islam: An Introduction</em>, also published through Cambridge University Press, is an excellent general introduction to the history of Shi’ism and the beliefs of the Twelvers, the Zaydi, and (IIRC, also) the Isma’ili.

And in general al-islam.org is a good resource for reading material on Shi'ism in general.
I never felt anger just sadness and hopelessness. I stopped using the Internet entirely for a long period of time because of this, I was afraid to see anti islamic hate. What helped me was this book https://www.amazon.co.uk/101-Ways-Concentrate-Prayer-Al-Hilli/dp/190811021X
It helped me feel Allah (swt) in my prayer like I was talking to him directly and it caused me to feel him everywhere in my life, such a liberating feeling. Now I'm no longer afraid of people speaking hatred about islam because I genuinely feel allah watching me and I feel closer to the ahlulbayt as well. Take your prayer completely serious and allah will help you with your problems. Hope this helps

And I agree with you entirely my brother, so many fabricated blasphemous hadith that contradict Quran. Unfortunately we cannot escape hadith entirely as it is necessary for certain things — thankfully there is a science to hadith & our scholars can (try their best) to pick out truth from falsehood. You’ll read some interesting things about the history of hadith in this book...
Mashallah my brother, you are very open minded & intelligent. I am not concerned about you, Allah swt has favoured you. I am a revert of 4 years btw & I’m a firm believer Anyone who really studies our history will see the truth inshallah. As Imam Ali a.s advises us; “learn your religion, don’t inherit it”.
Nice work! I'm the developer of Shia Network app and haven't updated it in a while due to lack of resources & ideas. If there's any scope of collaboration, then DM me so we can discuss the various opportunities of doing something big before Muharram.
I forgot to add this in my other comment (which focused on academic books), but if you want a really easy but informative/accessible read, perhaps comparable to Lesley Hazleton's book, you might want to check out Tamim Ansary's <strong><em>Destiny Disrupted</em></strong>, which is a history of the world through Islamic eyes (not exclusively focused on Shi'ism) though. I'd recommend the audiobook specifically, as it's read by the author.
I'm not sure to be honest. I think I have a copy of this version, and I believe it's complete (I can check for you later). There's no "definitive" print version of the English translation of Nahjul Balagha (good quality layout, printing, and binding) as far as I'm aware.
I read the Qur'an Arabic my native language, but my husband has the Ali Quli Qarai translation and I think it's excellent. I really like the footnotes on translation choices he makes for certain words, giving you alternative meanings other than the one he may have chosen. It has 2 columns on each page, Arabic on one side and English on the other with a line by line translation and decent but brief foot notes. It's also good if you are learning Arabic or would like to have the Arabic words right there if you want to look things up.
We also have the Study Quran, and it's also a very good translation and also worth purchasing due to the extensive footnotes and explanation of the verses coming from a variety of sources.
I'm a mobile application developer. Developed SHIA NETWORK for Android so if at all you have any plans or ideas for an app, then do drop me a PM.

So for jurisprudence, the real sources are the notes of instructors in the seminaries (chief among them the seminaries in Qom and Najaf). They rarely ever makes their notes available publicly though. So short of that, a test that would be a good academic discussion of Shi'a jurisprudence (although I haven't read it all), would be <em>Inevitable Doubt: Two Theories of Shi'i Jurisprudence</em> by Robert Gleave.
I started with this book.
