You want business card holders. Absolutely perfect for holding multiple different decks. Something like this. I don’t have these specifically but gives you an idea of what I mean
I have the following:
The Broken Token Stacking Tabletop Card Holder - Standard 4 Tray
and
TitanShield (2 Pack Card Sorting & Dealer Tray)
Both available on Amazon. If you are crafty with Foamcore, both can easily be made or if you have a 3D Printer, you can find files to 3D print these items as well
I have two of these and a big neoprene mat that matches the dimensions. Doesn't get any better IMO

Mat:

I use it on iOS, but I’d be surprised if ArkhamCards isn’t available on Android. It’s great for tracking campaign progress, looking up cards, and building decks in Arkham Horror: The Card Game.
Edit: Yep, it’s on Android too. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arkhamcards&hl=en_US&gl=US
iOS link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/arkham-cards/id1424000351
Not OP, but the small containers in this bundle are what I currently use and they fit each set of cat tokens. They're also small enough to all fit in the game box perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VDDMY9K/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_F816JEGKTA56F0V6EE0K?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You can also use a bead box or Dollar tree condiment containers, but these might be a little bit bigger so I can't guarantee all the components will fit in the game box. The small containers in the link I posted are perfect. Here's my setup:
The Abyssal Depths will be out on the 25th One Deck Dungeon: Abyssal Depths https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B094C4QJYS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_7VG9M0A3EWGCJMVXQNG9
I don't know where to get the mist card at. That was a pleasant surprise
Ooh yeah also Card Crawl. Actually just check out all of these if you like these two https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Arnold+Rauers
No worries. Here's a web app link: https://app.boardandgamer.com/7wonders-duel-solo/.
It's also available as a phone app on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sevenwonders.duelsolo. Not sure about iOS.
This is the right size, these have sleeved my collection: Dephia 1000 Card Sleeves for Gloomhaven Board Games 64mm x 89mm Great Fit for for Stardard Cards https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BBMZ3YQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_VXF7F2YW552FN1BM0H1V
I cannot recommend this standing domino tile holder enough!
I use this with almost every single game I play.
These are my favorite ones. Saves lots of table space while while having the decks angled up so I can see them easier without having to stand up.
I've been trying to get into Shadows of Brimstone. Business Card holder is a good call.
I just picked up some playing card holders on Amazon to help with character abilities/inventory. If you sleeve the cards, seems to help.
COLIBYOU 6' Folding Table Portable Plastic Indoor Outdoor Picnic Party Dining Camp Tables (White) (1, White) (1, White) (6 Inches) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B077M8CFDV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_6VX3T2K5WJGVFSAPJR7K
I bought this a couple weeks ago, and it works great for solo gaming. Lots of room and folds up tiny.
I have the Hold It Card organizer as well! Its great and even has a big card slot for the enemy/town cards. Just not using it this play through as I needed a bit more table space since I am going in with 3 heroes.

Rounds is a good generic scorekeeper / counter app. I started using it for Raiders of Scythia to keep track of my damage and wounds. Really handy in lots of scenarios.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.publicobject.rounds
You’ll need 109 capsules.
I found a pack of 200 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.se/dp/B0BF3YK2C2
I recommend 25 mm, but you’ll never get the tokens out of the capsules again without using force. I see no reason to ever stop using the capsules though.
The tokens still fit very nicely in the trays, but you need to put them sideways. They’re so much easier to handle though than fiddling around on the bottom of the trays for the cardboard tokens.
If you haven't tried using it, the Arkham Cards app allows you to, according to the scenario's chaos bag, calculate the chance of succeeding with a skill test with whatever modifiers are applicable.
For instance, if you are trying to pass Grasping Hands with Roland Banks in "The Gathering" on easy, the odds calculator will inform you that you have a 50% chance of passing with no skill bonus, 75% with +1, 94% at +2, etc.
You can even insert information that will affect the value of symbols. In this scenario, the skull symbol's effect is -X, where "X" is the number of ghouls at an investigator's location. You can type in how many ghouls are currently in a location and it will show you the chance of success.
For storing the cards, I use some card boxes that you can get from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/4-Pack-400-count-Woodhaven-Trading-Storage/dp/B09TX3MTLZ
There or different size, so pick a package that works best for all the game cards.
This may seems crazy, but I put my counters back in the counter sheets when I’m done with them. Everything fits back in the box and it is easy to find the counters again. This only works for pre-rounded counter sheets.
I have a binder for all the paper print and plays, and one of those long boxes for cards (think it was originally to hold Magic cards like this one here https://www.amazon.es/1000-Magic-Gathering-Collection-Uncommons/dp/B00LNJ3VM6) which I intend on decorating. I also used an old iPad box for awhile but needed more space for cards.
If you have a 3D printer or access to an FDM 3D printer, this is trivial to create base rings even using TinkerCad.
if not, search Amazon for "Health & Condition Rings" The bases would need to be 25mm
You can also get these and then use blue-tac or Museum Wax (which is a clear adhesive, you would need only as much as a pebble to stick these on and it is removable)
The last option, get whatever color paint marker from Micheals Crafts or Hobby Lobby and paint just the outer edge of the bases.
This is what I have in case you want to get the same. https://www.amazon.com/Mahjong-Mat-Plusvivo-Reduction-Dominos/dp/B09CD9CVZY/ref=mp_s_a_1_18?keywords=mahjong+mat&qid=1666388684&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI1Ljc0IiwicXNhIjoiNS4yMSIsInFzcCI6IjQuODgifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-18
I think the 4 Against Darkness are available on Amazon, but not the D100 dungeons. Amazon’s chunk is pretty sizable for single-person book developers I believe.
If you’re really looking purely for map making, there are a ton of YouTube videos you can check out too. There are also a bunch of results on Amazon for “how to draw fantasy maps, like this result”
I enjoyed Heart of Ice in my one "play through". To me, it feels more like an interactive adventure in terms of branching paths. You gain some "keywords" that lets you pick different branches in the story. There's no dice to roll. There are some item management.
I like the idea of gamebooks as you get to "play" without much setup!
A 7 die polyhedral set will cover everything (except for custom dice faces). Here's one from Amazon. If you need to roll multiples e.g. 3d8, just roll your single d8 three times. That's all you really need.
But you may wish to have an extra half a dozen d6 and maybe even a second 7 die set. And sometimes it's nice to have some of those been in contrasting colors e.g. 3 red d6 and 3 yellow d6. That would give you coverage for nearly anything I can think of unless you get into RPGs using dice pool mechanisms.
I’ve been really happy with [these ones](amazon.com/dp/B0007OEDT8) that I picked up from Amazon. I don’t have much to compare them to, but I vaguely recall that brand being one of the top recommended when I was originally researching them.
There's an app called Dized that has a very well made interactive setup walk through(free) that goes over the basics fairly well.
There's still a lot to it, and the design definitely shows its age. It's one of those games people love or hate. I've put plenty of time into it over several plays and love the idea but hate the game itself.
The Fields of Normandy: A Solitaire Wargame (Lambo's Solitaire Games in a Book)
Description from the author of the game:
"The Fields of Normandy is an accessible, portable, solitaire "hex and counter" style wargame in a book. Instructions and color game maps are included; you just need to add 2 standard six-sided dice. Your task is to order your rifle squads, machine gun teams, mortar teams and PIAT teams across the map to achieve your objectives, countering any enemy threat which is found along the way. The game rules reveal position and attack with enemy units whilst you focus on your objectives. Clear rules, and with 15 missions across varied maps with varied enemies the game provides plenty of replayability as you re-create the Allied push into Normandy in World War II"
Here is a video of how to play the game.
I own the game, it is great because it is all self-contained in the book. Each game takes between 15 and 45min to play. The first time you play will take a little bit of time but then once you get the hang of it, it goes smooth. There are hex markers you can copy, print out and glue to some chipboard or cereal box cardboard (the thin smooth kind).
I used these ones! I first stumbled across the idea for using nail polish shelves on an old reddit thread somewhere for displaying my Game Boy games. Now I keep getting ads on Amazon for nail polish-related things. Keepin' those algorithms on their toes!
Don't forget that buttonshy actually sells a storage solution/bag for this as well. But if you get a large amount of their games, you'll likely need a second bag.
The clear storage boxes work pretty good if you want to display stuff on your shelf. I've broken down a lot of "big box" games that don't need a big box and put them into them over the years, and they work well with button shy games too. Especailly if you sleeve them. The smaller 50 card ones can show off two games pretty easily from front and behind.
Look into the Kadomaru Pro. Many in the Pnp community consider it the best corner chopper available.
https://www.amazon.com/Sunstar-Kadomaru-Corner-Cutter-S4765036/dp/B0076FJ7SS
The newer Kadomaru Black also seems to do well, but I don't have personal experience with it.
Under Falling Skies is a great solo game with a campaign and one off games:
https://www.amazon.com/Czech-Games-Under-Falling-Skies/dp/B08HGS1QYT/ref=sr\_1\_1?crid=2JOORZU9DM9RF&keywords=under+falling+skies&qid=1656437861&sprefix=under+falling+skie%2Caps%2C79&sr=8-1
One of the cheapest and funnest games for the price (it's also the cheapest solo game I got) was Terminator Dark Fate on Amazon. Normally it costs $7.95. Sometimes it goes on sale , so it can be even cheaper! https://www.amazon.com/ALC-Studio-Terminator-Dark-Fate/dp/B07ZBTWHLD/
The game is fun, with good replayability. Totally worth it's price.
Aw love to hear it! My 7 year old is my copilot as well. He is going to hop in the driver seat next time though. Oh, I also picked up 25mm coin cases and put the cardboard tokens in those. Makes it feel more like a poker chip. It was recommended by Dale The Casual Gamer’s YouTube channel. Keep in mind it does make storing them a little more snug but I have made it work. https://youtu.be/S-kmhRqp-QA

Are you aware of the app?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fantasyflightgames.rtl
Also on Steam
https://store.steampowered.com/app/477200/Descent_Road_to_Legend/
I love it. Best expression of the genre imo. Plays solo well with the AI.
Always a dilemma :) If you have a place to tuck a tray w/ lip, then something like a cork bulletin board (or linen backed) is all you need....
I usually take a bunch of roll and writes. I take them out of the boxes and into a special bag. One like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09J7WZK55/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_YMKHX7X08HR9DN1D6BTC?psc=1
Just take what you need. For example, I laminate all the game sheets and just take enough for me and maybe a couple more. I pack a few markers and will share dice between different games. I've even added the smaller versions of Ticket to Ride and Pandemic in it without issue.
I've only tried the demo of first book of DestinyQuest. Seems to be a choose your own adventure "Diablo"ish book with fighting, dice and loot. I'm waiting for the right time to buy the first book (I have one game book I want to start first since I bought it last holiday season).
Card game - Loverceaftian cult leader growing your flock. Free
Card Game - Rogue like card game where you try to delve into dungeons while avoiding guards and keeping to the shadows. Full game requires payment but I think there is a trial.
oh im not sure what it used to be. this is how it was packaged when i got it. its almost twice as many cards as the base game had.
Love an inexpensive "upgrade." Saw a play through of Warp's Edge by Dale the Casual Gamer and he used coin protectors on the tokens...he had me at first "click." It really enhances the aesthetics of the game for me, reaching into the bag; slamming down (well, clicking down anyways) the required laser/maneuver amounts...ahhh. If you use them sideways in the trays, it all kinda works, even for storage... Bought a pack of 200, size 25mm and with the extra, I did my small tokens in Nautilion. Tight fit on WE (place the rounded end into the "bottom half") and very loose fit on Nautilion tokens, but surprisingly not bad in use. $17 did both games. Link to product below. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WL71TYD...
I bought these instead, I heard the paint on the plastic tokens can chip. Using these makes a huge difference in tactile feel!

I would probably like the feel of the ones this guy uses but i can't afford it haha!
Here is the link for the app in the Google playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.direwolfdigital.root
The game can be found also on Steam, Switch, and IOs.
If you want to play live against players, the TTS version looks awesome. Anyways, I found this BBG thread to let you find out about Root online. https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2352886/how-play-online
Yeah, I added the light myself. It is a Light Box Tracer:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M26S3VY
If I didn't have that, I would use a cellphone or tablet as a light. That's listed in the rules as a variant.
I have traveled with Hadrian’s wall. I laminated the sheets at staples so they could be used multiple times. Cards and resources pieces don’t take up much room.
Marvel champions is a good one. You could use dice instead of the tokens. This is the travel case I have anew right now I have 2 villian decks and three prebuilt hero decks. Plus my tokens. It holds a lot more cards then I would have thought. BWC deck vault
Any of the Dungeons and Dragons Adventure System Games like this one.
These games in the series will give a similar feel to TED but a bit more complex than TED with more decision space. Look for them used as a lot of people buy the game then sell off their current version for a newer current release.
No! They're basically big, transparent plastic stickers. I use one sheet for the front and a second one for the back then cut around the laminated page. I think I've been using these guys.
Lol, people always ask about that dice tower. I got it for solo play at night, as it is quieter than normal dice towers. Got it on Amazon for $32, here's a link:

I saw you asking about sleeves. I use KMC hyper matte clears for everything and they are great. $35 for 400 on Amazon. If you want cheaper than that you can get the Perfect Size, they are more like penny sleeves but better quality. The hyper mattes are clear on both sides but the back has a slight texture to it. Really love them, I use them for all my board games with cards this size
KMC Hyper Matte Sleeves (400 Pack), Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011MIRTWA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_AAV8NFGAA2NXAEEHE0TF
If they're getting really tight I store the base game in the plastic pockets but keep the expansions in baggies just sandwiched between the fold of the wallet without actually pushing them into the pockets.
But I also keep all my BS games in a larger container.
I believe these are called puzzle tables. Not to expensive. Here is one on Amazon.
1000 Piece Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle Table - 4 Drawers, Puzzle Board | 22 1/4” x 30" Jigsaw Puzzle Board Portable - Portable Puzzle Table | for Adults and Kids https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KMHLD3P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_FZS3MC6PGDPVTEVZN388
Nice setup! Are you using this mat? If so, what size is it?

I was given a book with over 179 solitare variants and how to play them. I bookmark the ones I have played and go back to play them from time to time.
Here it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.eerko.boardgamestats
I think it cost a dollar or two, and it was absolutely worth it and then some. My favourite part of the app is the Insights expansion, which gives little bits of statistics like the fact that 19% of my plays are on a Sunday, as opposed to 9% on a Friday, or that I've won 56% of my logged solo games, or that my average game of Raiders of Scythia lasts 30 rounds (thanks to the round tracker mentioned above). The app is also great for the Challenges expansion, which can help you do a 10x10 or increase or H-index or whatever you can think of.
They're perfect for board games. I bought mine in a smaller quantity of course. They don't take up a lot of space, they're a great size for board game components, they're not so deep that you have trouble pulling things out, they stack and they're super light weight.
Sure, link to first one I found on Amazon is here. So instead of having 6-8 decks of cards spread across a table you can have them all organized in a small foot-print.
For organization I'd highly recommend you get 2 of these (it's a 4 pack, so 8 containers total) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K15HFJ5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I put all the monster standees and their cards into the containers and it helped so much to keep things clean and be able to actually close the box
The games I want will be released sometimes Q1 2022, so for now I got myself a nice dice tray
I used to always be ok just throwing my dice on the table, but some off my games you roll like 3 to 5 dice so then it becomes a bit off a pain.
I really need to get that back to the table! One bit of organizing that I use for games with several decks of cards like this is a business card holder, similar to this. These are great for making a smaller and tidier play area.
I agree about the adventure mat being Non-essential, I just love it though! Here is the link, they only have it on gold color atm though: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CK94W7C/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_8CDJHWFMGFSQHARXRJXN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Ive been using these a lot lately for every game that has the same size cards: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072ZY1H1X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 they are shiny/clear on one side and matte/frosty on the other (to reduce glare). I prefer the matte/frosty side for the face of the cards and the shiny/clear for the backs ;)
Call me crazy but my solution to bad inserts with games that have tokens and such like Spirit Island and Marvel Champions I’ve been using sewing containers like this one.
Gospire 15 Large Grids Clear Plastic Jewelry Box https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089LN5J14/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_JJYQHH69Z5865TMMPC4E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Been working like a charm.
Yes. For me colors close in tone (brown, red, black) are difficult to see.
This is what I use - it's fantastic! Felt top for easy token/card manipulation, it's on a lazy susan so I can spin it instead of reaching over to get at stuff in the back. I use it on a much smaller coffee table with a rising top, and the base of support of this thing is incredible. I'd have to try REALLY hard to tip this thing over.

it's just the laminating sheets that they call ”pochettes” because you slide your paper inside them before the thermal machine.
sorry for the confusion
I use Sophie's Dice and have uploaded the custom faces from Tiny Epic Galaxies. Not only does it look and work perfectly. Scenarios where rerolls of only some dice are also easily handled by tapping each dice that are to remain unchanged and tapping the "pin" icon.
Definitely looking to digitize the rest of my games when I get a chance, as it's a breeze to use and a great table saver (as well as great for keeping the peace with non-gamer spouses who are saved from hearing the clickety clack of dice being rolled periodically...... :-P )
Works absolutely perfectly and cannot recommend it enough for the ultimate digital dice customization.
Hey I made my own iron helm too!! You’ll have to cut it yourself. Are you interested in pnping more games? If that’s the case, I’d spend the $9 to get one of these. Makes life so much easier. Firbon A4 Paper Cutter 12 Inch Titanium Paper Trimmer Scrapbooking Tool with Automatic Security Safeguard and Side Ruler for Craft Paper, Coupon, Label and Cardstock (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075NYWF5P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_YM6X6E96J9JVJKJRJ1KJ
Btw, I think iron helm + all expansions + printing costs + paper cutter cost me about $40ish total. Which is way less than the 45+ $15 shipping+$5 a pack that game crafter charges. Plus the paper cutter is a tool you can use for all future print and plays!
Here’s a link to my build for iron helm, it has instructions on how to build the game: https://www.reddit.com/r/soloboardgaming/comments/oswxos/wsig_paper_cutter_edition/h6xb4hz/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3
I do this as well and personally feel no need to put in extra effort to make them more professional as they work very well for me. I’ll just add that I recently bought these “perfect fit” sleeves from Amazon and they work nicely to make a more snug fit for PnP cards - I only just started using them a few weeks ago so we shall see how well they hold up to lots of shuffling but so far so good.
I bought this learn to paint kit. Has everything you need to learn the basics. I've since bought a few more colors (red, purple), spray primer and sealer, and a few cheap brushes ($15 more total, maybe) but this will get you 90% there.
NEVER thought Id be a mini-painting nerd but here we are. With this game I think/hope it will boost the immersion a little bit & its pretty relaxing! Put on a podcast and chill out. My only challenge when to say "OK, that is good enough"
https://www.amazon.com/Reaper-Miniatures-08906-Learn-Paint/dp/B00NTMC49G
Also for anyone interested, someone built an app (Google Play link) for the solo cards. Looks like it will pick a leader and shuffle/deal cards from the decision deck for you.
Hi.
I have one of these in each size. This is the smaller 24x36". It's not too big. Comes with a bag to store it in when rolled up. It's really nice to bust out when I want to play solo.
Print double sided on cardstock and sleeve. It’s the simplest and most effective method. They’ll feel a little flimsier than real cards but they work perfectly. I used this method for most of my games and they’ve stood up to many plays. Sleeveing is the most important step here, the cards will not last without it. For sleeves I use the Dephia 1000 Card Sleeves for Gloomhaven Board Games 44mm x 68mm Great Fit for for Mini European Cards https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075V37LFS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_VBR5QN8XYCNKWM7N4HD3 set on Amazon. That’s 1000 sleeves for $13. A little pricey but it sleeved damn near every game I owned and for far less money than buying individual packs of 100.
I don’t know how big you’re looking for but here’s something
This is a little on the pricier side, but it slants, can hold cards, boards (like the islands in AFFO), and tiles.
Post a picture if you can. I'm having trouble visualizing how this would work, unless it's just a small deck of cards, and I'm not sure what games (other than the one you mentioned) it would benefit.
I'm envisioning a card holder like this?
Hey I know this is an old post. But I ended up buying ODD as well. It just became available on amazon again. It was sold out at the time of writing this OP

I have played 7 wonders duel with the duel solo android app. Played three times, lost three times. Looking forward to finally beat one of the AI's. Very well implemented, the AI is very aggressive in getting military and science cards.
Also got Sprawlopolis. Played it like 5 times already. Very fun, challenging and non time consuming puzzle game. Love it.
Bought Terraforming Mars on the android store. First time I played this game. It's better played on a tablet due to screen size. Don't think I'll played more due to the fact that I do not have a tablet. It's fun though!
FWIW, I have the retail version and the Viren Invasion expansion all in the main box and they are sleeved. I use these UltraPro ProFit sleeves in this and a couple of other games.
Just a clear box to hold cards. Like this: Ultra Pro 81147 2-Piece 150 Count Clear Card Storage Box https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002TT3LG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_dlC_nfETFbJ3RXN1D?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 not sure if that link works. It wouldn’t let me enter it as an actual link.
There is also a free app for the scoring sheet (on Android at least) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bluecocker.welcome
I recommend Four Against the Titans:

It's not very expensive, and it's perfect for solo.
