I'm concerned it may not do so well with critics as it's doing with the general audience. I don't know if anyone's familiar with the website letterboxd? It's a site used by critics and film enthusiasts to keep track of what they've seen.
Anyways, here's a link to the ratings/reviews there so far. https://letterboxd.com/film/american-assassin/members/
I think all of the ones on the front page are from the last couple days.
A lot of them are currently only interested in action movies if they're John Wick or Marvel, and I wouldn't be surprised if the critical reception reflects that, unfortunately.
For those interested, The movie tie-in edition of American Assassin is now up for pre-order on Amazon UK. Apparently being released on November 2nd, though hoping that's just a placeholder date.
Hopefully going to have some bonus content!
Rotten Tomatoes update since /u/doblicious post got buried down below.
So far so good. 75%. Only 2/8 rotten.
ETA: Just saw The Magnificent Seven's score of 62% with 29 reviews. I haven't read a review yet but was surprised to hear it was that high since I haven't heard the best things about it.
Alright! It's time to play guess the Tomatoreader!!!!!!
We are getting closer to the Deepwater Horizon premiere at Tiff and the reviews should start coming hot and heavy. What do you think the ultimate Tomatoreader on Rotten Tomatoes will be? Give us your best guess!
Thank you /u/buckeye322 for the suggestion. :)
He's actually the "manager" of the ranch. Here's his "linked in" profile:

>My tours are eco-based and private. We visit native pueblo ruins, Spanish settlement ruins and ghost towns that were once thriving coal mining towns. Most of my tours are conducted on a 20,000 acre private ranch on the outskirts of Albuquerque. Most of the ruins and petroglyphs were unknown to the ranch and therefore these sites are pristine with artifacts left over from those times. We often see wild horses that act wild as we are usually the only people they see. We also explain and teach the fauna and geology showing you fossils from the times that New Mexico was covered by ocean water. Since the tours are private and personal we can cater the tours to your interests. We also have an amazing network of trails so we can cater to the not so active to the hiker.
>In addition we manage the Diamond Tail Ranch which is a perfect location for movies. Away from noise, 20,000 acres of entertaining terrain free from developments traffic and unobstructed views. Enough room for 2-3 movie sets and base/crew parking with water.
Thanks for posting this! Even though this isn't an official review, I found the writing better than most of the reviews we've been reading so far. I do warn you that there are some spoilers if you read the whole thing.
> O’Brien is given the opportunity to demonstrate his action capabilities as well as continue to show how even as a supporting character he can continue to steal scenes, poignantly in a sequence towards the end between Wahlberg and O’Brien involving an instruction manual and thoughtless banter that brings much-needed lightness without diminishing the significance of the film...
That's music to my ears. I cannot wait to see it tonight! I'll post my thoughts after I get back from the theater.
ETA: I think I've been getting a little too excited about the Tomatometer, but it's just been fun lol. It's back up to an 89% which is the highest it's reached so far. It has 31/35 fresh reviews.... If it gets 4 more, that'd put it at 90%. I'd love to see it hit 90, even if it's just for a moment :)
Back up to 83%! I wonder when we'll get the majority of the reviews in... After the London premiere?
ETA: Vince Flynn film just tweeted this. Hopefully we'll get another Dylan pic today!
PlayStation Video Presents: Exclusive Shoutout from Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials catches up with official endless running game
I enjoyed the first Maze Runner game so I'll probably get this one too. It's free, after all!
He said that twice, if I remember correctly. One's here, at the Apple Store event, and the other one was during a radio interview with BBC Radio One (sorry, couldn't find it online, so I had to upload my file...)
Now that they're not there anymore, it should be okay to post where Dylan and his friends were last weekend, I think? Mods let me know if that's too much information.
Anyways, they rented this house. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1778388?location=Paso%20Robles%2C%20CA%2C%20United%20States&tier_override=0
It's so cute <33
Is it possible for a magazine/movie site to have more than 1 review on RT?
4 reviews on RT so far. 2 negatives from "top" critics.
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/deepwater_horizon/reviews/
Linking LB because I also find reading thoughts from non-critics amusing because they're less pretentious lol.

I'm seeing tweets about the famous YouTuber Dan Howell fanboying over Dylan. Does anyone have a vid?
ETA: I think he mentioned him in his newest YouNow vid.
You have to download the Zen Mate extension for Chrome (or whatever web browser you use) and change your IP address to a US one. It's not a permanent thing, you can switch it on/off at will and it's very easy to use.
I saw this last night, they are both super cute!
And when you do decide to watch the episode, here are some pictures to get you through.
