If you want to purchase it, Amazon has it bundled with the Bambu recordings, which is Dennis' unfinished album he was working on. Some really lovely music there as well.
Also, since all my CD's were stolen 4 years ago I jumped on the streaming wagon through Amazon. The CD bundle is $11, the streaming purchase is $17. Even if you only stream, buy the CD. It includes the streaming/downloadable version as well and you save $6. That discrepancy doesn't happen often, but it's a good way to save a few bucks if you keep an eye out.
I think you would have to use a VPN. I'm cheap, so I used a free one, ProtonVPN, but if you plan on using it more than once in a while, it's probably worth paying for a good one, especially if you have any concern about security, privacy, or speed.
The album itself is okay, the tracks are of varying quality. Some are good quality and sound clear, others sound muffled. I think the first set is the only one with clear sound quality through the whole thing. You'd honestly probably be better off finding another live show uploaded on youtube by someone else, if you don't want to go through the hassle.
Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called Summer Dreams: The Story of the Beach Boys, here are some Trailers
Nice vibes, your voice sounds a lot like Bruce Johnston and I like the minimal finger-snap percussion. I checked out your covers of Til I Die and God Only Knows and they were really nice as well. Your voice is really gentle so it works well for exposed songs like these. Also the fact that it sounds like Bruce helps.
While I'm here, I'll drop a link to an a capella cover of this song I did that I'd really be happy to get some feedback on. (Possible volume warning because it starts immediately and dropbox sets the volume at max by default.)
The Beach Boys Love You is a good one, and Surf's Up. Wild Honey, 20/20. Summer Days is pretty solid if you start to peel back some layers.
I've been experiencing a lot of their music not through albums but by listening to podcasts and podcast episodes about the band, since they seem to pick and choose some good highlights. I heard this episode and thought it was a really good introduction to anyone interested in post Pet Sounds/Smile:
The Well Of Sound:
I have a process I use to download digital only releases (on Macs), always through Tidal, because they have lossless streaming. Apple caps out at 256 kbps, and Spotify at 320 kbps.
Download Audio Hijack (Mac only). Play the album on Spotify, Tidal, or wherever. End the recording and cut up the tracks in Fission (Mac only). Import into iTunes.
Someone who is has a PC can probably suggest software that works well for PCs.
That's the Japanese import SHM-CD version (SHM equals ultra fancy cd made out of supposedly higher quality plastic that allegedly makes the music sound better).
They usually come in mini-lp replica card sleeves too.

I don't have this (yet!), but I love this shirt that combines The Beach Boys logo with Pride colors!
This one?

The kindle preview /epilogue makes him sound like a tedious jerk.
Nope, CD only. That compilation came out a few years before the vinyl revival.
It would be cool it The Beach Boys release something akin to The Beatles Single Collection with different artwork and labels from different countries.
Maybe with the new Azoff deal, we could see something like this...
Original version of SMiLE is an essential listen for every Beach Boys fan, more so than Brian Wilson Presents SMiLE in my opinion.

SMiLE was never completed in 1960s, so the disc 1 of The SMiLE Sessions box set (from track 1 to 19), released in 2011 is the "definitive" version that is officially released. The songs are assembled according to Brian's 2004 album, but there are some significant differences:
1) it features the Beach Boys themselves (not only Brian) on vocals
2) the tracks were produced by Brian Wilson in 1966-67, when he was at his best as a producer.
3) lead vocals are missing from some of the 1960s version of the songs: Do You Like Worms (partially), Child Is Father of the Man, Look (= Song for Children), I Wanna Be Around, Holidays (= On a Holiday) and Love to Say Da Da ( = In Blue Hawaii). In fact, the lyrics found on 2004 ver. but not on 1960s ver. were newly written for BWPS.
So I would say it's a must listen, and it is different enough to keep you interested. The box set itself is out of print and expensive, but it is available on Spotify and other streaming platforms, and the 1-CD version is still easy to find at a reasonable price on Amazon.
There's an album called Guess I'm Dumb that I've been listening to recently that has some worthy covers on it. Worth checking out.
Hahaha... well... I found this on Amazon...

What's the difference between this box set and this box set?
Is the latter box set the light up one?
