That's not a ski lift. That's the top of the old Mount Beacon Incline Railway, a train that used to go to the top of Mount Beacon in Beacon, New York. There was never a ski resort there.

And, since that site doesn't recreate the same photo OP posted, you can see it on the TripAdvisor website for the historic train's tourist attraction
I made some research (I can't sleep, and I don't have anything better to do, so don't judge :P).
It isn't a train station, but a tram station (look at the pavement). It's called Olympiapark Süd and though it isn't abandonded, it's only used it when they need to divert the traffic for some reason.

The google maps satellite view is also pretty stirring:
I went here a few months ago and took a huge Pano
You can zoom in on the G+ version.
Get an endoscope camera off Amazon. I've got the Nidage 33ft endoscope
Ah that one. Here are two more photos I found online: I'm pretty sure I have more photos of that room on the SD card, I'll check when I get home.

Built four decades after the main hospital, the female ward extension was elaborately crafted to provide a more comfortable environment for patients than the sterile wards of the past.

Directly beside the powerplant, this building had a massive ventilation system powering through four floors of patient wards. They were large enough to climb through.

The rooms in this ward contained discarded supplies from the closure of the hospital. Most rooms contained disorganized garbage but this one stood out with both of the building's televisions sitting as storage.

Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called Mandariinid, here are some Trailers
Looks like it might be this one. Note the similarity in the hangar doors and the peculiar placement of the grain auger.
Edit - Some googlemapping leads me to this location, which is pretty close to the town of Rivers MB.
I could type out why I think that sick feeling you get is fallacious, but I think this passage from Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance gets the point across well enough:
> We arrive at the turnoff to Crater Lake and go up a neat road into the National Park...clean, tidy and preserved. It really shouldn’t be any other way, but this doesn’t win any prizes for Quality either. It turns it into a museum. This is how it was before the white man came...beautiful lava flows, and scrawny trees, and not a beer can anywhere...but now that the white man is here, it looks fake. Maybe the National Park Service should set just one pile of beer cans in the middle of all that lava and then it would come to life. The absence of beer cans is distracting.
I have no idea what the books were about since the floor was too unstable to get very close. It seemed to be a small library for the patients to borrow from.

Not sure if its soviet or modern, looks interesting though..
I remember visiting Berlin about 15 years ago.my girlfriends family took us to heaps of places, but the murals on the side of the Russian barracks at Potsdam stuck in my head..
Great album BTW, I'm jealous you have these places in such easy reach!!
Cool! Here's a similar ventilation system I recently explored in a large building's attic. The cables in the middle are used to hoist massive chandeliers.
For me it looks like you need a Vierkantschlüssel
Yea a link to the event page would have helped, sorry.

It will be 4pm-2am (afternoon till after midnight)
Not sure exactly if you can 'freely' walk everywhere but you will have access normally you aren't allowed to go.
The location is Childs St. Buffalo, NY at the end of the street is a large open area most of the events will be taking place with access to all the surrounding silos.
Built in the 1840s, the third floor of this building contained bright yellow doorways in an otherwise featureless ward.

This building is off to the side of the asylum's main body. There are no indications of its function, it appears to be a lavish showing area for guests and leisure.

Try "Google Len's Camera app".
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.ar.lens&hl=en_AU&gl=US
It's definitely on the Google play store. It comes as part of the camera suit tools on the Pixel phones. I use it all the time.
Dam construction started at 1963 and was abandoned around 1995, when the government was out of money.
Some ancient Roman homes were discovered during the works. Treasures from those could be seen in Stara Zagora historical museum.
Some of the dam equipment has been built, but it was never closed. The dam wall is about 75% done. The spillway was to be of the glory hole design. Its tunnel was bored trough about 500 meters of rock. There was dug place for the bell, but it was never built.
Currently everything metal that can be stripped down is removed by scavengers. Construction machines were abandoned at site, but they were gone in the first years after this.
Aerial view of the site. You can clearly see where the spillway tunnel penetrated the hill west of the lake.
You wrote "probably" to be able to defend yourself on this point especially.
What you say is really not the case nowadays, half or even more of the castles that are maintained now belong to the state or are used as tourist monuments just to pay for maintenance. And you can have your own opinion, but nothing prevents me from contradicting it, especially since it is false and not based on anything concrete, perhaps because of jealousy, which nowadays has no reason to exist.

I have actually not seen that one, I'll make sure to check it out!
There's another documentary called "The Propaganda Game" that shines some light on the daily lives of the citizens of the DPRK. I also recommend this book by an international businessman who lived in the DPRK for multiple years, and urge you to watch this video I've already linked before. Some amazing insights into the situation there.
>I don’t think it’s as bad as they say
Completely agree. All the horror stories we get fed in our media simply do not hold up to scrutiny. But people just really really want to believe them, no matter how outlandishly, cartoon-villainy they are. Weirds me out tbh.
THANK YOU! Also you have an exceptional username :) I've been just starting out trying to do real writing, here's my first book. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B39QPLK I've also posted a ton of stories here on Reddit in various places. Most of them will give you a laugh (I hope), some of them may scar you for life.
So many questions, I wonder why it was abandoned? Was it some sort of b&b ? Kt seems to be something more than a abandoned house, maybe a retreat ?
The book seems very Cultish to me.

i have a 30 liter day pack that fits a small tripod, extra layers, camera, snack/water, flashlights & batteries. for a tripod i recommend one that has legs that can splay out almost flat and an invertible central column like this one. they're a little pricier, but can be wedged into places where cheaper tripods cant.
