I doubt someone stole it, with covid and everything else, I can't see anyone thinking stealing a water bottle is worth it. Especially since it's resell value is 0$. Even if u spent 50 bucks on it. Someone probably turned it in or threw it away. People leave those all the time in every lecture. I recommend if you don't want to spend so much on a replacement. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084Q9GQRD/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_YA88ZCEHRZNRXSVSZEBJ I swear by this bottle and it's worked better than all my other ones in terms of quality and insulation. Good luck finding it tho, I hope it pops up somewhere. But don't let losing it become the reason to not hydrate or focus on your mental health. It's always more important than any material things. Although I know it sucks in the moment of losing it.
You are definitely doing this wrong. Order a 16$ portable frame-attached air pump on amazon like this one. Mount it like this. Always carry a spare tube as well. I have one duct taped to the underside of my seat so it is always there when I need it. I can fix a tube anywhere, no need for ubers, stands, etc. Keeping a pair of tire removers helps too.
I mountain bike all over dfw and some trails are very long. Getting stuck 10 miles out with a flat could be pretty bad. I always carry these item with me just in case.
I would totally be a bike mechanic for the university. I already do a lot of bike work. I can do just about anything required for a bike. Fork servicing, headset replacement, bottom backed and crank replacement, wheel truing, etc.
I have already made a lot of money (at least a couple grand) fixing and reselling bikes during this pandemic, as bike prices have skyrocketed.
If you want some work done, let me know and maybe we can work something out.
I think there's a way to do it through Canvas > Class > People but I've just been using this python script I made that scrapes it off the HTML for the "People" page on your canvas class. You can dm me the code using codeshare.io for the table element that lists all the students and I'd be happy to generate an email list for you.
Rate My Professor has one review. If you want to go through some files (from each semester), you can see the results from the student feedback surveys here. For example, in the Fall semester, he had 48 students' feedback and scored an average of:
4.0556 for 'The instructor clearly defined and explained the course objectives and expectations',
3.9815 for 'The instructor was prepared for each instructional activity',
3.6296 for 'The instructor communicated information effectively',
3.7037 for 'The instructor encouraged me to take an active role in my own learning', and
3.6852 for 'The instructor was available to students either electronically or in person'.
I have no idea and have never even taken a physics class, but thought this info would help.
None taken. I was just super nervous coming in. I guess I just heard so many bad things about regular calculus that I was on edge about business calculus regardless.
And yes, whileRate My Professors has nothing but praises for Wolff and other students have told me that business calculus was easy, I wasn't assured.
So I just wanted to share in case that there are any lurkers in the position that I was in and likes to see actual data to judge for themselves.
There is the "send a push" option available. The application is called "Duo Mobile" I believe. Should be available on both iOS & Android. For more information, you should just go over to OIT and get it set up but I think the process is quite straightforward as far as I remember !
Just checked and indeed they have moved to Microsoft Authenticator

Also, if you want to talk to an advisor sooner, they’re currently doing virtual walk-in advising until June 10 from 8am-5pm (I’m guessing CST but I’m not entirely sure).

Usually if you have questions about a specific teacher, ratemyprofessor is pretty good. ( http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/campusRatings.jsp?sid=1343 ) However, it seems the teacher you are requesting is not on there. :o And I have never had her, but just figured I would share the site if you didn't already know it. Sorry to not be of more help.
Anytime you hear subjunctive add "Dudo que ..." in your head.
Make sure you know what all the table terms mean in this page. Things like present/past participle.

Make sure you know first/second/third person forms and how they change verbs. Basically make sure you can synthesize a sentence in spanish out of english vocab parts of speech terminology.
Hot take: Buy a chromebook and build a PC at home.
Use chrome remote desktop to log into your PC from your chromebook: https://remotedesktop.google.com/
A cheap chromebook used will cost less than $100. A PC can be built up part for part cheaper than a full price laptop. Also if you (or someone else) spills coffee/water/Kombucha on your laptop, you aren't out nearly $1000.
Only downside with this config is you need good Internet.
I'd recommend pepper spray. It's not just for women, as a guy I carry this: SABRE RED Pepper Spray Keychain with Quick Release for Easy Access – Max Police Strength OC Spray, Finger Grip for Accurate Aim, 10-Foot (3M) Range https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000UVTDLG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_MRHYERNND4E53VRBZKGD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I was able to run Solidworks fine on the Acer Aspire 15 pretty well. I bought this for around $850, though it's currently unavailable. So if you can find something similar or better you'll be set.
I don’t, but if you want a great source the book Six Flags Over Texas: the First Fifty Years is amazing https://www.amazon.com/Six-Flags-over-Texas-First/dp/0997421312. The author is a former employee and also runs http://parktimes.com/ptsarticles/. You can contact them through that website if you want to talk to them. Good luck!
I run these on my Kona: https://www.amazon.com/Continental-SuperSport-Urban-Bicycle-700x23/dp/B002XYNOCW
Never had a puncture and i rode about 6 miles daily for two years. I didn't even carry an air pump. I carry an air pump and an extra tube just in case now.
As far as those repair stations, they've been in disarray for a while now. You might make a petition but i don't expect you will get a lot of support.
Also, you might even submit a work ticket to facilities management. I am not quite sure which department is responsible for upkeep on those stations... But FM might know.
Email your professor or wait until class starts to ask them. I just took Calc II and only bought the homework code and never needed the book.
Honestly I don't remember anything about a UTA specific version. The professor used the regular version of Calculus: Early Transcendentals by Briggs.
