According to Russo (who is the only person reporting about the search), follow up interviews will be happening in the next week with finalists Paul Fenton, Tom Fitzgerald, and a 3rd person that Russo's trying to identify. It sounds like he has suspicions or one source saying who it is but he's not ready to 100% confirm it without another source.
Russo also said that Fitzgerald had a great interview and seems to have evened up the race with Fenton. He made it clear that some of the people that interviewed had no real shot at the job but were brought in just to get opinions on the team.

It's anybody's guess who the 3rd person is going to be. There's a chance it could be someone who has not previously been reported as interviewing like Tom Hunter from Toronto (now that Dubas got promoted to GM in Toronto, he's likely going to want to leave) or Julien BriseBois from Tampa. He has mentioned recently that both those franchises are good at keeping info quiet so it's possible one of them has already interviewed without the info leaking. He's also said that he doesn't claim that his list is complete and there may have been more people to interview than what he's reported.

Like 5 weeks until delivery, but still, the exact same rug is over $200.00 on Facebook Marketplace.
Normally I'd type up a bit of a summary. I can't do it for this one; it's too good, and I don't want to spoil anything. You can read the recap in the article for subscribers, or the whole(?) show is available here on iheart. The radio show ran 130 minutes, 2h10m. I haven't listened to the whole thing, but I imagine it's pure gold the whole way through.
Coach Boudreau is amazing. The stories he shares here are great. Start to finish this is a great read and it plucks at the heartstrings a bit.
Not sure if serious, but it has been pointed out many times that this is not how Granny would pronounce his name in Finnish. Doc wanted to know how Granlund pronounces his name in Finnish and Granny answered. This is not very hard to find from the internet if it really is such a great mystery.
I couldn't agree more with everything you said. If you want to be specific about who NBC praises as the game is going on, look who has the momentum. Chicago went up by 3 and it became stroking Kane and Toews. Oh wait, the Wild put 3 back on them and you were hearing them talk about Coyle and Nino and Parise. After Chicago's 4th goal they kept it pretty even, talking more about unsung hero's on the Hawks and Vanek for the Wild. I honestly expected it to be a lot more bias toward Chicago.
On the pronunciation debate, here's the proof: http://www.forvo.com/word/mikael_granlund/
One pronounces it as the Finnish would with "Mikael Gronlund" and the other says it the American "Michael Granlund". They at least stay true to their individual pronunciations.
The way to pronounce it is the way the man himself pronounces it... Just like Zach Parise goes by Parisi vs Parisay.
And FWIW, these German prounounciations of 'zucker' sound a lot like 'oo' and not like 'uuuh'.
Alex Galchenyuk is a hall of fame hockey dude. You aren’t. That’s all that needs to be said. Nobody cares that you work with players, or whatever else you claim.

My first thought when I saw your post was AirBNB - https://www.airbnb.com/s/Saint-Paul--MN - there are some really nice neighborhoods (Summit, Mac-Groveland, Highland, etc) in St. Paul that will be more expensive but you should find some more affordable options as well. I like AirBNB because your host will typically be available to suggest stuff to do and welcome you/offer to spend time showing you around the city/cities if you and your wife would like.
Side note: You posted here in the sub earlier in the summer/fall about this trip, right? If so, I said I would buy you guys a round at the game(s) and that offer still stands - just let me know which games you'll be at and we can coordinate for drinks!
Here's a link if you want to listen. It was mainly Pat complaining (incorrectly) that we have zero cap room next year to re-sign anybody and fans complaining about Coyle and Fletcher. Not too different from regular season fanline, just a bit longer.
i watch most of the games on http://gofirstrowus.eu/.
click on the ice hockey tab and select the game and whatever link works for you...make sure you have some sort of ad blocker on your browser of choice. I use google chrome for my internet browser and Ad blocker plus works great. heres a link for adblocker plus for google chrome. https://adblockplus.org/en/chrome.
good luck and go wild!
If you have ESPN+ you can use a VPN to get around local blackouts. Different VPN's work better than others so do some research. I personally use Private Internet Access and have had success when watching direct through the ESPN website or on a TV, for some reason it doesn't work well on my phone unless I have the VPN routed through my phone. The games show up as "blacked out in your area" but I click on them anyway and the stream just starts.
I know for sure Private Internet Access VPN works with ESPN+, worked fine game 2 and I was able to watch the wild feed without issues. I recently bought a 3 year plan so it ended up being a bit over $2 a month for access.
I just bought NHL Gamecenter this year (I live north west of the cities) and I also pay for a VPN service as well, this allows me to trick Gamecenter into thinking my PC is in another location (out of market) so that I can watch the game. Private Internet Access is the VPN service that I use $40 for a year
> It doesn't result in anything besides both players taking 5 minutes in the box,
https://www.nytimes.com/video/sports/100000002879034/punched-out-the-death-of-derek-boogaard.html
And permanent brain damage for the players involved. Not to say there isn't head injuries in hockey without bashing each other's faces in - but I really haven't enjoyed a fight since learning bits about CTE and what it does to people in the long term. I'm sure they really feel respected in their 40's when they need someone to change their diapers for them and remind them why they get these terrible headaches.
I believe I was at the Jets/Wild game he is talking about. Their chant of "TRUE NORTH" during his performance was truly surprising. When he began with our anthem, it seemed like every Wild fan was belting it out (I know I was). One of the most awe-inspiring performances of the national anthem I have been a part of, hands down!
I grew up listening to the North Stars on the radio in the 1970s when most games were not on tv.
General : Marek Vs. Wyshynski and my favorite Hockey central at noon
Wild : Russo - Souhan show and the Parrish - Fletcher Podcast
It used to be really easy to get AHL games for free but then they changed their streaming service to make pirate streams harder to get. Haven't been able to find any since. Iowa's arena didn't do a too bad of production but some of those feeds were just SD single camera at center ice with the radio guys commenting over it. Definitely not worth eight bucks. I'll probably tune in tonight on the radio and listen to some of the game. https://www.iheart.com/live/1460-kxno-921/
I just read the other whole comment thread and I agree, if you can use your parents login watching via the fox sports go app is the easiest. I’ll agree that the NBC Sports app sucks.
Next easiest is having NHL TV and a router based service like unlocator. I’ve been using it for five years now to watch wild games on my Roku. It works for any device that doesn’t rat out your GPS location (like any Apple device) because the NHL app checks that too if it’s available.
Unlocator isn’t perfect. Sometimes I’ve had issues connecting to Amazon or other internet sites while using them. I’ve gotten to where I only turn it on for games then turn it back off. Their customer service is pretty helpful though if you run into any issues.
For anyone dealing with alcohol addiction, I can't recommend the book This Naked Mind enough. It's helped me a lot in my understanding of my relationship with alcohol and why it was preventing me from achieving a lot of things in my life.
I promise I am in no way affiliated with the book or author. Just appreciative of its message.
Go with the brand name Perler beads. Melty Beads etc will melt weird and are like cheap paint, they'll be off color when done. However there are like 5 different "white" colors each of which will be slightly different when melted so just get the true white and you'll be fine. Amazon is your friend for buying bags of hundreds to thousands of a single color cheaply (which you would do if you're doing a set of one jersey or even one team with a set of alternate jerseys for a coaster set ... which I might now do haha).
The best bang for buck is the tubs but sorting them is a nightmare I don't have the mental energy or time for so I go with something like this usually "Perler Fused Bead Tray 4000/Pkg-Fun Color https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008HCN0HI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Y3J3zbERGA3RV" which can come in multiple color pallets plus add a few bags of individual colors I'll need separate or more of and have them dumped into cheap one dollar fishing lure boxes.
The brand name stuff will cost barely more online and will give you better colors and melts. Walmart also has them cheap but the selection is usually limited, and the off brand beads at Walmart are god awful. Stick to Perler and you'll be set.
Also the tape method is great for small projects too, you'll notice board warp faster than you think if your iron is a little off one day or just after a bit of time. Once they warp that board is basically done, if you press flatten it too many times it'll just pop one day and your 8000 bead piece will explode all over your room. Not that I'm still bitter.
I'm still bitter.
We've used AirVPN for three straight seasons. They have a TON of US-based nodes, so ideally you get one just on the edge of a blackout for the best round trip time. We also connect to their Canadian nodes, and sometimes their UK ones.
They do not keep user logs, so if you want to use their service for other stuff that may be beneficial for you.
Does that still consistently work for you? I've used Unlocator for 2 years now and by the end of last season they were starting to struggle to keep content unblocked. It's like they're locked in an ever escalating battle of whack-a-mole with content providers trying to clamp down on DNS services.
Here is Apple's support page for setting up a VPN, basically it's a setting that will send all your traffic through a third party server so that it looks like you're requesting data from some other place.
The hard part is finding a service you like, the good trustworthy ones are usually a monthly subscription but not too expensive (~$10). I have only personally used Private Internet Access, but wasn't too happy with the quality. The next one I'm going to try is Vypr vpn because they're a partner with Reddit so they must be good, right?
Once you have the subscription or other service you want to use they'll have all the information that you need to configure your connection, just pick one that's outside of the blackout area but not too far away. The time it takes for the data transfer can cause additional lag in your streaming, but picking a server closer to your location can cut down on that.
Hope this helps!
Edit : splling
I would recommend Private Internet Access. Also see my original response here. VPNs aren’t anonymous and don’t protect your connection like the guy above claims but they are useful for things like illegally streaming and downloading stuff.
I’m an IT guy. VPNs don’t provide a more secure connection. While it’s true that it does encrypt your traffic and hides it from your ISP it does not make it more secure then standard HTTPS. Almost every single website uses HTTPS by default (especially banking and similar websites). HTTPS encryption is already incredibly secure. All a vpn is doing is changing who sees the already encrypted data. I don’t trust companies who turn over data to the three letter agencies more then the next guy but most VPN providers do that already so using a VPN doesn’t change that.
If you aren’t seeing ads on your phone it’s probably because your VPN is blocking them (which is nice). The ad/tracker blocking is available for free via extensions on Chrome (until the end of the year when they will stop working) and add-ons in Firefox. I use uBlock Origin by the developer gorhill (Raymond Hill).
As for VPN providers, Private Internet Access has been my go to for years. It’s cheap, reliable, and have a track record of not turning over data. They are one of the few companies that I trust to not turn over data.
PS: On the anonymous connection side, unless you roll your own or are using mullvad (paid with monero on a truly anonymous wallet), you aren’t anonymous. They have your payment info. They know who you are and can track you specifically using your account info.

Guessing you are on e ess pee n plus and they are actively blocking nord ips, correct?
Here's a workaround source
I run NordVPN on my fire stick and I’ve had this problem multiple times.
Here’s how to get around it every time. Go into the settings in the
Nord app and then go into protocol. Choose one of the OpenVPN options.
Go back to your menu and select Obfuscated under specialty servers. Once
it’s connected you should have no problem connecting in the ESPN+ app.
If you do, force quit the app and should work when you restart it. I
spent many nights frustrated with it but I haven’t had any issues since I
discovered doing it this way.
I don’t know what that guy is talking about, I used NordVPN all season and only had to reconnect to different servers three or four times all season, otherwise it worked just fine on tablet, phone and PC.
I used Nord VPN through Miami Server and had good luck all year. Couple games on West Coast it wouldnt work for when it should have.
I am running the VPN directly on an ASUS router though, so my Roku can use it. Maybe that make a different. I did watch on PC couple times using the NordVPN Application with no issues.

Anyone successfully using NordVPN tonight? Been working good for me all year, haven't used it since before the break. Can't get it working tonight, usually use Miami Server, but tried a few others too.
There is the link, I'm on mobile and not going to format it.
One great part is a huge nasal sigh when barreiro asks about the hiring process and who Craig involves.
I used this site, hope it ain't too sketchy. AdblockPlus works wonders. I put two aac and two wav files into a zip file.

I used this video. I didn't notice that it was mono until I was done.
I've heard some people mention or but I would never use those sites myself. Not without... NordVPN! Have you ever wanted to watch something on Netflix that's only offered in Guatemala? NordVPN has you covered, or wanted to download the newest Disney release but scared they'll track your location through your ISP and dispatch a squad of corporate goons from your local PD to bust your ass? NordVPN. And right now Nord is offering a special offer for 3 years at 89% off that's right 3 years with a whopping 89% off. Just check out the link in the description below or visit for more details. Again that's Become a Nordy.
I use NordVPN but they’re effectively all the same. Just have to set your location to something far away. It was really nice during the Olympics to be able to watch the CBC broadcast too. So much better than NBC.
It's frustrating. So I tried NordVPN with ESPN+, it was hit or miss. Sometimes it would not work or say I was blacked out. So whatever you decide don't spend a bunch of money before you know it will actually work.
Not super familiar with Roku, so I don't know the answer. I use NordVPN on my Android TV as it has an app in the Play store for it. I fire up the app before I open ESPN+ and it's been fine so far.
I had issues with one game where I had to bounce around to find a server that wasn't blacked out, but since then I've been connecting to St. Louis for the games and haven't run into any issues.
> Parise isn't actually having back pain, but pain in his leg.
Quite important detail. From the article and an overview of the procedure is that he's having a partial removal of his vertebra (discectomy) to remove the pressure on the nerve.
Still unknown if this is the final measure, but should help his pain.

Those exercises will help but its all about calories bruh. Find you Recommended Daily Intake (for example this site) then start counting your calories. You'll find the number of calories to maintain your weight. Typically drop 500 cal from that number to lose 1lb per week. Then you add exercise to the mix and determine the calories you burn from your daily consumption.
I use Fat Secret to track my meals and exercise. For someone like me its important to vigilantly count everything otherwise I end up over doing it.
No, Mikko had at least 2 episodes and technically a 3rd depending on how you want to look at it. According to this, he had an episode in season 2, back in 2013, and an episode in season 8, in 2018. There was also an episode covering his 1,000th game that aired last January. So he had 2 traditional episodes and another that was about an event dedicated to him.
Here's the full show. LaPanta is in for the first hour but the first 20 minutes or so is an interview with the new AGM which I thought was pretty interesting.
This is what I do, already had ESPN+ with my Hulu/Disney+ bundle. Bought an ASUS router that only my streaming devices connect to, and subscribed to NordVPN, and set up VPN to St. Louis (will have to change servers when they play the Blues). Works well for me. $100 for router, and like $80 for 2 yrs of VPN, and was already paying for ESPN+. So for $180 I can watch games for next 2 yrs as long as they are available on ESPN+. Works well, but I deal with Tech and Computers for a living, so setup wasn't too difficult for me.
ESPN+, paid monthly at $7/mo (IIRC) plus your VPN of choice. Requires using a computer since it won’t work on your phone since your phone is smarter about knowing where it’s located. If you want to put it on a TV, you’ll need to hook the laptop up to it. I personally use NordVPN, which is paid (also used for business).
I mentioned this above but I've been using PIA (Private Internet Access) VPN and have been able to watch the 2 Bally Sports North broadcasts without issue so far. (First game was a national broadcast)
Unlocator works with ESPN+ as long as you go into your "Regions" settings in Unlocator and set the "MLB & NHL / ESPN+ & Disney+" option to "ESPN+ & Disney+". You can ignore the fact that the other choice says "NHL" since that is meant for which only exists in Canada/Rest of World and only works if you decided to buy the international version of .
I was originally watching through an Nvidia Shield on my TV, but I ended up watching on my HTPC. I'm not sure if the NordVPN or ESPN Android App on the Shield were causing the issues, or it was strictly just the VPN servers I was connecting to.
I'll play around more tonight and report back if I find anything definitive.
Yeah, I figured. I used to use AdFreeTime, a DNS-based location option for NHL/Netflix, etc. My current mesh wifi (Netgear Orbi) doesn't work with NordVPN from what I can tell, so I guess I'll have to go with the computer route instead of using a Roku or AppleTV.
I've been able to stream games through the ESPN app on a Fire Stick, but I did run into a couple of VPN endpoints (DNS vendor: Private Internet Access) that were blocked, which required a cache clear and reauthentication.
I don't know what Disney has introduced with Disney Plus, but if you open that app with a VPN running I get the blank screen. I hope the development teams for ESPN Plus / Disney never talk to each other.
Money not an issue? Buy a package on and then get a VPN of your choice. I use Private Internet Access and it works great. NordVPN and ExpressVPN are fine too.
Turn on the VPN to anywhere but Minnesota, open and watch away no blackouts if you are outside MN.

I used a paid service called Unlocator. It's router based, just set and forget. I want to say it's around $35/year. Been watching NHL tv for about 3-4 years this way. Zero blackouts, even with nationally broadcast games (NBC, etc).
This is a fantastic streaming tool. Just follow the guide and you'll be good.
Also, I wouldn't recommend watching illegal streams at a home other than yours so they don't get in trouble. And I recommend Private Internet Access for a VPN.
I watched using GCL last night with Zenmate (selecting Germany I think). Unfortunately it does not appear to work on android, GCL (using NHL app) and Zenmate, it still thinks I am in the US and prevents me from watching.
I might try surfeasy on android as it does have the ability to use a different country. Or just watch it on my laptop ;)
