meetup.com is a good start to find people with similar interests. There is a discord chat for nerds and gamers if there is any interest. I can send invite.
Bailey Park does free Yoga every 3rd Wednesday until October. Footnote offers 1 hour yoga class Mon-Fri for $10 which includes coffee drink.
If you aren't allergic I am sure the humane society could use volunteers. Habitat for Humanity might be worth looking into for more hands-on work.
Finally, something in my wheelhouse!
I'm a knife guy. I have bought, sold, and traded hundreds of knives. I own custom slipjoints, fixed blade hunters, and cheap loaners for friends to use.
My advice is to learn to sharpen it yourself. It takes less than ten minutes to put a screaming edge on a fully dull blade. You'll also get to do it as needed, not just when you can get around to taking it somewhere.
Start with a Lansky. It's easy and inexpensive and will last years.

You can also buy a strop if desired.
There has been a string of car break ins in the Sherwood/Ardmore/Buena Vista area. They have an entire thread on the nextdoor.com site and cops are patrolling more with lamps. My car got broken into Sunday night and they stole an iPhone I was using as an iPod. Oh well.

From going thru these reviews...Not looking good. Almost all of the good reviews sound staged or "canned" and a lot of the bad ones have long believable stories that read like a really pissed off person warning others. See what you think. I always read a bunch of reviews to get a feel for the reviews themselves as a lot of it is manipulated nowadays. Find the ones that feel true to you and go by those. Ignore the 5 stars
Like someone else said, deff post your interests, will help with answers.
Also, you may have already checked this out, but I've been happily surprised with all of the cool different meetups happening in WS on meetup.com. We just moved here a month ago too, so we're also looking for ways to meet people and get out of the house. Best of luck!
I participated in some of the discussions about bridge design and can say this...they really do use citizen feedback to guide design choices. This link goes to the survey about downtown streets. I strongly encourage everyone to participate.
Just my 2 cents...reducing the number of one way streets (i.e., converting back to 2 way), increasing bikability and walkability, and improving streetscapes are all critical to enhancing the downtown/urban feel of Winston Salem.
This is a weird place to ask but these are good to start out with. https://www.amazon.com/Liberlupus-Boxing-Training-Kickboxing-Sparring/dp/B07QPMHMZ9?pd_rd_w=MkMJ5&pf_rd_p=0ca1e4e5-be02-40f5-977f-f5eb84303fb8&pf_rd_r=79VC9BDS1PEX87270H52&pd_rd_r=3dd91642-b872-4a69-bbdc-dc0b6f76f4bf&pd_rd_wg=TzUnK...
I looked into the same thing a few years ago and it was expensive. I bought a special cord on amazon and converted everything myself. My home movies are now on DVDs with a menu and chapters!
The cord I bought was similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IPS7JNY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-RZbCbHE5KA55
Well, I have to work tomorrow, but if anyone wants to add me on PSN, my ID is x_citizen_zero_x. I have a PS3 and here's my games. I have ~~Thursday~~ Friday off, so I plan on enjoying some wine and playing some UFC and Assassin's Creed.
I use a Fiskar. Works just fine.

It's a set of stones that helps you with the angles.
Are you using the Libby App? You can see the wait time for each book before joining the waitlist. You can also search just books that are available now. I have a ton of holds on the Libby App and I stagger the hold suspension times so they don't become available all at once and I'm constantly moving forward in the wait lines for many books.
BestBuy should price match any Amazon Price as long as its Sold & Shipped by Amazon. You should be able to match the 3800x they have in store for pickup today. Chances are Intex is closed\ more expensive.
Also, If you need a mobo they have a $20 off if you buy both, If you can stack that with a price match, You might get a decent deal.
After a 10 seconds search Amazon... https://www.amazon.com/Zinus-Memory-Foam-Green-Mattress/dp/B01MR51N1S/ref=mp_s_a_1_38_sspa?crid=2ET4CSAJB5AEU&keywords=queen+size+mattresses&qid=1666423435&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI3LjY1IiwicXNhIjoiNy4zMiIsInFzcCI6IjYuOTQifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=quu...
You can get some great mattress on Amazon on any sizes, fast delivered and cheap. Good luck.
The actual pillows are in the shed right now -- I'll grab them if you're interested -- but they were barely used (bought for my father when he was ill but weren't what he needed).

I would do $30 each because I want them out of here and to a good home!
Just buy a sign that says "no solicitation" and place it close to your doorbell. Works like a charm!

Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Soliciting-Adhesive-Accessories-Letters/dp/B07LF2ZYTG/ref=sr\_1\_6?keywords=No%2BSolicitation%2BSign&qid=1660685172&sr=8-6&th=1
I don't know of any safe spots around here. I also wanted to share this resource that has updates related to algae in NC waters that can be harmful to both humans and canines:
If you have a backyard or area for set-up, something like this could be a backup option: https://www.chewy.com/yaheetech-foldable-outdoor-hard/dp/320450
Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
Turns out you were harassing him in DMs. He clearly told you to leave him alone. Looks like he left you alone and ignored you until he snapped. And judging by the convo, you were stalking his profile for that very specific purpose.
I've forwarded him contact info for a lawyer. It turns out that in North Carolina, harassment is a pretty hefty charge and can be prosecuted as a felony in some cases. I'm not a lawyer but I'm going to guess a judge won't look too fondly on you pushing a person until they snap at you.
Just gonna pick a mod at random here... Hell, first one in the list: /u/druid_king9884
Sorry to ping you man - you've been pretty decent from what I've seen of your moderation here but if it were me, I'd say there's enough to ban both of them.
I’ve known people that rented from them and all was ok with the exception of the owner of a house selling the house the renter lived in. Fb marketplace has been good too- https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2660631290667569/
I'm moving in November and am looking for a good home for a bearded dragon that I have. He comes with a huge tank (this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077QHSYWX/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_PZW7J2PVGS3S6WPG8T1K) and if you or any reptile people you meet are interested I'm not asking any money for him. I just want to make sure he's going to a good home.

I always clean/polish/detail my friends clubs when I regrip them.
I've never charged anybody before, but I guess I'd take $50 from you if you wanted to drop your clubs off & provide this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XDNYR6V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_X2E4E2A0DVD9M08W3QHE
(Everybody I've used Karma grips for has been really satisfied. You're welcome to provide any other grips, those are just the ones I typically recommend.)
You could probably have the gripping done elsewhere for about that price, but I'm... uh... sorta good at the cleaning/polishing/detailing stuff.
I'm headed to Myrtle Beach for a golf adventure this week, but I could do it next week between like Monday and Wednesday.
Shoot me a dm if you want to set it up. I'm in Lewisville.
Oh damn, I've heard good things about those, but never tried them. Looks like Amazon has them for $9.77 a pack, which isn't bad for 10 tortillas that are a specialty food. If you don't have prime, you could rock the 3 pack and get free shipping: https://www.amazon.com/Mama-Lupe-Carb-Tortillas-12-5oz/dp/B0053DJYOC?th=1
Harris Teeter in the Cloverdale mall (and probs other locations) sells 5 different styles of the Mission low carb tortillas. They range from 8g per tortilla to 4g, depending on the size and white/whole wheat. I try to limit myself to 2 tortillas per week so that I'm not craving wheat tasting stuff the rest of the time. Been having success with green cabbage leaves for wraps and burgers.
I hear you about the depression my friend, that can undo fitness progress like nothing else. Glad you're back on the horse.
