Fortnite is a class-based horde survival game by Epic Games focused on building fort-like structures, gathering materials, and rescuing survivors. It's basically Team Fortress 2's Mann vs. Machine mode but with a more diverse cast and supernatural theme. Early Access starts July 25th, so if you're looking for something interesting to play I'd highly recommend it.
Check out the website here for more information. There's also a cool 85 minute gameplay video here.
Bonus: if you check the comments on the trailer, for some reason a lot of people are complaining about there being no white male characters and it's honestly hilarious.
If you're talking about the PC version you need to log into your account on the fortnite site (https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home)
There should be a purple 'Download' button in the top right, this will install the Epic client.
The pre-load hasn't started yet, so you can't get the game client yet. When the game goes live you'll be able to pull it from the epic launcher.
Yeah I agree. You used to go to be able to go to fortnite.com, even when battle royale was released, and get directed to this page https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home. Now it goes to some stupid competitive page.
Try going to the official site and signing into your Epic Games account, then go to your Account. Then try linking your PSN through "Connected Accounts". https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home
I think that if you create an Epic Games account at https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home and link your Xbox account to your Epic Games account, then you should be able to cross-platform. Do keep in mind that you won't be able to play with PlayStation players, as cross-platforming PlayStation and Xbox is considered forbidden. MSG me if you need any more help! :)
If you go to the fortnite site (https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home) and checkout the pre-order levels you can see how many standard edition codes each level gets.
SuperDeluxe gets 1, Limited gets 2. Deluxe and Standard don't get any.
These aren't friends codes, they're full standard editions for the higher tiers.
go to https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home > top right next to download > sign in > sign in using all you info and stuff for whatever you play on or use your email > then top right > click you user and a dropbox will come down > click the first one(account) > on the left > the 6th one (pw and security) > scroll all the way down to sms authentication > flick it on > it will send a message to clarify its you and i think that should solve it. hope it helped :)
The easiest method would be to head on over to EPICs website, and sign in with his Nintendo Account.
sign in button on the top right
Im fairly certain you can add Vbucks to the account via the EPIC store once the Nintendo account is properly linked to a EPIC account (which is also added security). I am not positive on how to do it directly via the Switch, but I do know that there is a long history of people struggling to do it via child or supervised accounts in game.
In short yes you are right. He (or you) can create a new Xbox account and then link that account to his epic games one, it will show his profile name and transfer everything to that account. Log into the website (https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home) and unlink from your Xbox profile to the new one. You’re lucky that fortnite does not require Xbox live anymore lol

https://www.roguecompany.com/ (will be free on release)
three off the top of my head. i'm not gonna bother engaging you more.
You need to go to https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home and sign in using PSN, if the PSN account doesn't have an associated Epic Games account it will prompt you to make an Epic Games account.
If you visit https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home, they said on a post that they are planning to do more challenges so people can reach gold peely (and maybe because of the coronavirus). To read more, visit the news section of the link
Check It Now! https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home It's Insanely different, interactive, kinda guided! STW is Front And Center, minus the popup for season 10 tbh.
What you need to do now is create a throwaway email. Once you do that go to https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home and select sign in (log out of your account if you are already logged in).
When asked about the platform, choose the console you play on. You will be asked to sign into your XBL/PSN account. It will then redirect you back to the Epic Games site where you will be asked to enter an email and password to upgrade the account. This is where you will use the throwaway email, and provide a password.
Once that’s complete you can log into that new account on the website (if it didn’t already log you in) and go to Account Settings -> Connected Accounts
Locate your Console account and select to disconnect it
Check all the boxes and confirm the unlinking process
Sign out of that throwaway account and login to your normal Epic account, go back to Connected Accounts and link your Console account back to your Epic
It would be a good idea to force close Fortnite on your console prior to this process
If you're absolutely certain that you just have a headless account that you want to upgrade, here's what you do:

1) Go here: https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home
2) Log in on the upper right
3) When asked whether you already play Fortnite, select "Yes"
4) Select Xbox
5) Log in with your Microsoft credentials
6) Assuming you're right, you should be redirected to an "Almost done" page
7) Fill in the information. Use an email that's not already in use and that you have access to.
8) Done

And that should be it. If you're not entirely certain, just get in touch with support so that they can have a look and make sure that this is indeed all that's needed.
Go to https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home and login to your Epic account
Then click the drop down menu to go to account settings
Once there, go to connected accounts
Is your console account that you just tried linking to listed there?
Just want to update this and let people know it's sorted, and how to do it in case anyone runs in to the same issue.

As you are aware, your PSN account is currently connected with a "nameless" Epic account. Please note that a "nameless" account is an Epic account that doesn't have any email address associated to it. This is the reason why you aren't able to connect your PSN account with your main Epic account.
The first thing we will need to do is to promote your "nameless" Epic account into a "full-fledged" one. Here's how:
Note: You will need to register with an email address and display name that is not already in use on an existing Epic account.
Once you've promoted the "nameless" Epic account into a "full-fledged" one, you should be able to disconnect your PSN account from this newly promoted account, and then re-connect it with your desired Epic account.

I think the person with the Xbox needs to create a username and password for their epic account that was created automatically for the Xbox profile. At least that’s how I’ve gotten it working before.
They do that by signing into their Xbox account via epic’s site... https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home ... click sign in and click the button saying they already play Fortnite, then click Xbox. Then you can search for their epic name.
They may be able to friend you within Fortnite via the epic friends button without having to go through epic’s website...haven’t tried that.
Either way you’re going to have to get the Xbox player to help out.
Edit: clarity
What web site are you looking at?
Here two of the three tabs are for STW:
https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/buy-now/battle-royale
And here there is not even a mention of BR:
https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home
https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/home
Try clicking on the top corner and then PSN. If you are already logged in with your PSN in whatever browser you are using, then it should log you into the Epic account which the PSN is linked to.
Oh yeah, expect all the flair to be updated by August 5th. I'm kinda busy irl, and I won't lie i'm spending a lot of my free time playing Fortnite and meme decks in Shadowverse.
Has anyone heard of Fortnite? Just curious. I just found out about it a couple weeks ago and it looks pretty neat. I think my friends and I might be digging into this game. We've been looking for something new to group up and do some co-op on.
