I want more patches like the Gul'dan patch, where they touched nearly every hero and touched up their talents in slight ways. It keeps the game feeling fresh without overbearing changes.
Not nearly every talent tree needs a full rework. Small number changes can make a huge difference, too.
Remember the time when bots would dodge skill shots, retreat when they were in-danger, rotate properly and even gank; Blizzard was proud of that, even made a blog post regarding it?
Pepperidge Farms remembers..

What the hell happened?
Seriously, how does Hearthstone consistently have the worst patch notes? Just take a look at Overwatch o Heroes of the Storm, which have so much detail in their patch notes. HotS even rewrites their patch notes when they change other things between the PTR and live.
Meanwhile Hearthstone patch notes consistently don't put crucial information, or don't explain why changes were made.
Edit: I mean, just LOOK at today's HotS patch notes. https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/blog/21791354/heroes-of-the-storm-patch-notes-june-6-2018-2018-6-6/

In the most recent patch, you adjusted the spell inconsistencies listed in this post, but spell power is only one inconsistent multiplier.
So my question is - will multipliers get a general consistency pass? And will healing remain multiplicative with spell power as it is right now? Because right now, abilities like Ana's W and Gul'dan's W have multiplicative healing, and additive damage, simultaneously.
Just to give another example of the general inconsistency, I checked out AA multipliers today and found that on heroes with 2+ multipliers, most are additive, except for these;
Hero | Multiplicative Interactions |
---|---|
Valla | Trait(+100% with talent) with E(+140% with talent) |
Orphea | Trait(+150%) with Determination(+15%) |
Greymane | Trait(+40%) with any other multiplier |
Fenix | W(+25%) with any other multiplier |
And I didn't check the interactions of heroes with no spellpower talent, who can still interact with stuff like Debilitating Dart, Aggressive Matrix, etc..
A month ago, you enabled Kharazim's Radiant Dash to dash to "all allied units", because he couldn't dash to some specific stuff like allied creep, toxic nests, medivac, rip tire, wisp, etc etc.
Is it intended for abilities that can target enemy summons, to be able to target all of the enemy summons? Because some, like Illidan's Dive, still have a lot of summons that they cannot target, like Creep Tumors, while other abilities like Kerrigan's Ravage can target anything with a healthbar
Can confirm, it was horribly communicated.
It was tricky enough to figure out that the following happened:
Such stuff would’ve been perfect to refresh in the Heroic Deal forumposts, so that it’s not close to guesswork figuring it out.
Either way, sources for the above:

> Orphea's bundle is the first to force 3 mounts into the only bundle with her only skin.
You're wrong. Deckard had the exact same thing with his Wastewalker skin, and the Road Chariot - and potentially others as well. Deckard is the only one I remember, though.
Either way, the important thing is this: The Launch-bundles all change to Skin Packs a while after the Hero is released (~~pretty sure it's~~ 2 weeks, when the Hero drop from 15k to 10k Gold), removing both the Hero and potential Mounts from it. It's nothing new, at all.
The mounts aren't bundle-exclusive either, so you don't have to buy the bundle to get the new mounts - unless, of course, you'd want to buy them with Gems.
EDIT: Confirmed it's 2 weeks, as mentioned in the post made when Gem Only launch-skins were introduced with Alexstrasza, a year ago (2017-11-14). Heroic Bundle for the first two weeks, then converted to a Skin Pack.
> For example, this means that once the upcoming Alexstrasza Heroic Bundle is removed during the week of November 27, a “Dark Queen” Alexstrasza Skin Pack will enter the Collection. That Skin Pack will then remain available for purchase using gems indefinitely.
>These lush and deceptively peaceful gardens have grown over time, covering the once molten realm known as Dragon Spire. Beneath this verdant paradise, the ancient power of the dragons was sealed away... and their descendants have neither forgotten nor forgiven the trespasses of those who wronged them.
https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/battlegrounds/dragon-shire/
The existing lore states that the dragons are an ancient race, not humans cursed into dragon form, but rather ancient dragons bound into stone form.
Should we take this as a retcon, and disregard the previous lore, or is there some detail I've missed here? Is the race of dragons and their ancient power still cannon, and just this man happens to be cursed into a dragon as well?
edit: from fan's theorizing, it seems like Raena's husband always was and simply is a dragon. The curse is his stoneform, not the fact that he's a dragon. This would mean that she married a dragon! If so, I approve of this dragonkin romance ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Can you guys reach out to whomever is updating the website and tell them to upload the new art on https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/media/ and https://blizzard.gamespress.com/Heroes-of-the-Storm
Feels pretty bad not having the new stuff here :(

New and improved AI. Never forget that Blizzard literally made a whole post about how they were really proud of their new AI mechanics, especially for new heroes. https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/blog/21033994/under-the-hood-ai-2017-9-13/
Didn't they say earlier that 10 Placement Games were becoming the exception rather than the rule? I was under the impression that, if you've been somewhat active in Ranked recently, you only need to play one placement game that yanks your Rank closer to your MMR in case they diverged towards the end of the previous season.
Edit: Found the source:
> Placement matches were primarily intended as a way for us to gain more information about your skill level in the absence of previous match history. However, the more games you play during a season, the less necessary it becomes to reassess you at the start of the next. Going forward, those who play enough ranked games during the current season will only need to complete as little as one placement match when the next season begins. After completing your placement, you will be placed based on your MMR at the end of the previous season.
>Players will no longer enter an infinite rejoin loop if both Cores are destroyed simultaneously, and victory will be assigned to one team at random.
Her damage is my biggest concern. I like the general focus of her kit, but she's basically a non-entity in combat right now when it comes to damage. 236 DPS for her AAs at Lvl 20 places her somewhat in the middle of the pack for Warriors, but her abilities do little-to-no damage themselves, which is bad considering they each have a windup time. It's a shame too because she's got a really cool kit overall, and if she could output more threat on her own then I could easily see her in the main tank role.
Also, while a minor point, one thing I think you may have overlooked is that Aegis of Light has potential as a tool for protecting fleeing allies, or for pulling back to defend the back line from dive. You're right that it makes little sense as an engage since the tank should be first in the fray, but it may work fairly well as an anti-dive tool. Someone like Genji jumps on your back line, you jump back into your team and give them all armor in the process. Similarly, Gift of the Naaru would make a decent burst heal on a back line target that got dived on by the enemy team. Admittedly it's maybe not the best use of such a thing because it's still antithetical to the sort of play style you want from your main tank, but it's a possible explanation for what they were thinking there.
But yeah, I was on board with the idea of her kit, but she just doesn't generate enough of a threat IMO.
EDIT: And sure enough....orange text to buff her damage. Though possibly not enough.
Sky Temple
>Developer Comment: We love the gameplay around bushes, but feel some maps--and in particular certain lane transitions--have too many bushes for players to negotiate. We are starting to cull some bushes starting with Sky Temple. While this change is small, we are happy with its impact on the map in our internal testing and want to see how this impacts the game as we look to make similar adjustments.
not every map should be the same
It's been more than a month since the release of Anduin (April 30 Patch Note) and he's finally added to the roster page on HotS official website!
There was a lot of talk about the rework to QM mentioned from Blizzcon. The roles are intended to shuffle around, teams are guaranteed to have a tank, healer, ranged damage, and roles that are in hot demand will receive bonus XP for their player level.
Call of the Nexus (to my understanding) is these changes. However, I could be wrong. CotN could be limited to only the bonus XP, which isn't as exciting. I was hoping someone could confirm this.
Edit: I went for another look. Bad news. It's only the XP bonus according to the PTR notes.
There's still hope that forced composition is here too, but I have my doubts.
Blizz had done an April Fool's joke where you could use "Google Street View" to walk around Dragon Shire on the website. It was called "Nexus Lane View".
It seems like it is no longer available.

> NOTE: Call of the Nexus will not be active immediately active, but will be enabled a short time after this patch hits the live servers.

It sucks but it is what it is.
I actually don’t think the bar system is working properly either.
Medivh has an 8/10 scale on the complexity and he’s considered Very Hard, so is Abathur at a 9/10. So 8+ seems to be “Very Hard” Heroes. Or so you’d think. But yet Illidan 8/10, same as Medivh, and is a Medium difficult hero.
Kel’Thuzad is a 7/10 and is a “Hard” hero. So 7 and less you’d think are Hard heroes. But the other Kt, Kael’thas, a great hero overall, but way easier to play than Kel’Thuzad is also 7/10. Sure he’s also considered a “Hard” Hero in HotS but he’s much easier to play.
So in “bar metrics”, unless they change Whitemane’s complexity down, is a “very hard hero” same as Medivh. 8/10.
HotS was also my first moba and learnt relatively quickly. And yes, it is very friendly compared to LoL or Dota2.
I think learning what every hero could do was the toughest part. Knowing which talents to pick was also rather difficult for me, but just followed some guides on the internet. Once you get enough experience from the game you can start making your own builds or copying them from good players.
My advice: tell your team you're a new player and that you're willing to learn. Ask them what you should be doing, where to be on the map, etc. This way you will learn much faster and with time you'll start making the right decisions on your own. If they're toxic, just mute them or the chat and report them. Also, if you have another friend that plays HotS he can help you a lot. Try to make friends in game, and play with them in a party. This way you'll get bonux XP with heroes (which will give you faster gold to buy heroes or other stuff) while they can also teach you the basics of the game.
And finally, if you want to jump into HotS, you should do this first. This way you get two heroes and a Stimpack (it boosts both XP and gold earned after every game).
Rich has secured GM No. 1 in Asia last week and he has recently reached 20K points with just 124 wins and I can't really think of anyone who has a winrate (76.5%) close to his.
His high-risk plays really thrives when paired up with trustworthy teammates, but I think his success has to do with something more than that. If you ask me, Korean HL is full of randomness and ~~craps~~ just like any other region.
forgot to check out and post this.
The new event site looks fantastic :)
For comparison to last year's: https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/game/events/lunar-festival-2018/
We actually got more stuff this year. I'm actually surprised.
It's part of the MM changes they have been working on. How soon it will be until it is live is hard to say though.
> Non-Participation and Intentionally Dying
> Going AFK during a match, leaving matches early, and dying intentionally are all behaviors that harm the game and compromise a match. We’ve been working on ways to address these behaviors while limiting the negative impact they have on others. As part of this endeavor, we’re deep into development of a loss forgiveness feature, which will mitigate ranked point deductions for players who lose a game due another’s failure to participate. The leaver will be penalized for the loss and repeated offenses will result in harsher penalties. The system will initially only forgive losses caused by leavers, but we plan to expand it to include AFK players and intentional dying in the future.
The armored versions get added next week when Alterac launches, you can find pictures here: http://www.wowhead.com/news=284753/heroes-of-the-storm-echoes-of-alterac-event-yrel-and-alterac-valley
They are also mentioned in the patch notes: https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/blog/21849060/heroes-of-the-storm-patch-notes-june-12-2018-2018-6-12/

This is a perfectly valid question and one that has been asked before and I didn't really have a good answer.
Thanks to you I literally just discovered that the rules of the event under which the original creator submitted Janitor Leoric grant Blizzard license to do whatever they want with it.
From the event page (https://heroesofthestorm.com/zh-tw/blog/20131414/):
(Google Translate): "Given that Blizzard has provided you with the opportunity to participate in the player's painting project, you hereby grant Blizzard and event organizers a non-exclusive, global, royalty-free, permanent license for commercial or other development and utilization. The artwork submitted by you to Blizzard and the artwork/illustration created by Blizzard Property. These developments and uses are for commercial purposes, can be contained in all media, in whole or in part, whether or not the character or form is distorted, including but It is not limited to its website, but it can also be used for internal, commercial and advertising purposes."
It would seem that Blizzard already has all the license they need to create and profit from Janitor Leoric.
Here is a link to the changes they are making to the ranked system in the coming season: https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/blog/21771817/ranked-play-enhancements-coming-with-2018-season-3-2018-5-11/
> Blizzard didn't tell us this when it was implemented.
It was just there in patchnotes. There are a lot of problem because people can't just sit and read carefully.
> Diamond, Master, and Grand Master Hero League players who have placed in the current season but haven’t completed any games in a while will be considered “inactive”.
Don't know how long "for ages" is for you.
Also note the general Stealth changes in patch notes from 2017-12-12. It's no longer an "eye exam" to see who can spot the shimmer. Stealth is more visible but still untargetable unless you hit the stealth hero with a skillshot.
The most noteworthy things are that her stun was cut in half (release: 1.5s, current: 0.75s) but now has a 2.0s blind afterward while her silence is actually longer (release: 2.0s, current: 2.25s).
Also, being in "deep shadows" (Vanished for 3s or more) all her from stealth abilities have 5 range and teleport her behind the target (the way the old [[Death From Above]] used to work).
She was more powerful in non-draft modes (and arguably still is, though not to the degree of Cho'Gall) because half of dealing with a niche hero is counter-drafting them.
If you can silence or stun key opponents (a blinded Tracer is useless, and a silenced Diablo can't throw people around) without getting yourself killed you can have an impact. But in order to do that you're also tied up by cooldowns on Vanish, the ability in question, and possibly the 3s "deep shadows" rule (if you want the 5 range teleport).
Balance patches are always the 2nd Wednesday after a Hero release, so it should be tomorrow.
Not sure about Tracer deal. If there is, it probably involves a shop update which happens later today in the afternoon (at least for NA to my knowledge).
Ranked changes are coming as indicated in these patch notes: https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/blog/21771817/ranked-play-enhancements-coming-with-2018-season-3-2018-5-11/
They're already easy to find both on the official site (via "News"): https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/blog/
Alternatively, they're also easy to find via the Launcher (click on the small "Options"-cog.
A third ban is coming https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/blog/21771817/ranked-play-enhancements-coming-with-2018-season-3-2018-5-11/ I have no further information to share today though. Keep your eyes peeled!
Here's hoping that the GIFs they are using here will appear on the Hero Pages along with description updates.(especially Diablos Fire Stomp and Lunaras Wisp)
> Dragon Shire will become(or is) Garden Of Terror. On the top of map There is Dragon Knight hidden and near him shrines from Dragon Shire.
They are, at the very least, in the same Realm: King's Crest. It also makes some kind of sense that Lady of Thorns could be the earlier version of Queen Nightshade.
> Also Dragon Knight have very intresting quotes such as "Dragon shalk rule again" So propably There Was a Dragon Nation in Nexus.
There was, actually. The Dragon Spire. It's described in the battleground descriptions on the official site:
Dragon Shire - link
> These lush and deceptively peaceful gardens have grown over time, covering the once molten realm known as Dragon Spire. Beneath this verdant paradise, the ancient power of the dragons was sealed away... and their descendants have neither forgotten nor forgiven the trespasses of those who wronged them.
Garden of Terror - link
> Once the royal gardens were a splendor to behold. But lately a shadow has fallen over them... Writhing tendrils creep across the grounds at night, and a number of servants have disappeared while walking its twisting paths. Queen Nightshade claims to be unaware of these incidents, but some are beginning to suspect she has gone mad.
I would absolutely love the idea that some Realms (or at least King's Crest) were warped by time - because then we might see a Dragon battleground. It also fits the whole theme of the Nexus pretty well, by replaying the same scenarios over and over again, heroes are from different periods of their individual time, have items/memories from after that, and so on.
You can check other wallpapers at Official sites media section
It hasn't even been a week since Cain's release! 17 days ago we had a big balance patch buffing undertuned heroes and talents while nerfing overtuned ones, link: https://heroesofthestorm.com/pl-pl/blog/21656682/ This is getting ridiculous, how often do you want them to drop balance patches? Daily?

Hi u/SheevSyndicate!
You're correct. The Hell’s Screamers, Match of the Century, and Sun’s Out 2017 bundles will all be available until June 11. There aren't any surprise bundles coming later during Nexomania, so if you decide to pick one up you should be safe choosing from those three.
Also, your post made us realize we hadn't listed the end-date for these bundles and the patch notes are being corrected. So, thank you for bringing attention to this!
They have given away large collections of heroes in the past and I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again.
Of course very recently there have been a number of vocal complaints about match making and a number of other balance issues as discussed here.
It makes sense to get those updates and probably the changes to quick match where every team will have a tank, healer and assassin with 2 flex spots in before making another huge push to attract new players to give the best first impression possible.
Specifically, HotS is doing an event with HotS-specific cosmetics, and it's four hours instead of two, and there's different rewards available for different weeks.
Watching now will get you an adorable portrait, and watching next week will get you a spray.
No silly questions. It can still be done:
https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/game/recruit-a-friend/
I invited myself 4 times on different e-mails, got them to required level and got the mount. My friends were already invested in HotS so there was no one else to invite.
>Maieve who was nerfed a week after her release
Maiev was released 6th of Febuary, and got nerfed 3 days after release. Imagine if that could happen for us with Baron? She also had half the time on the PTS as Baron did.
I'm not going to disagree with Fenix. His release was incredibly strong and it took them too long to fix. But that was by far the worst release they have had and they've improved significantly since, and had a great history before it. HotS had to deal with 2 bad releases in the last year, Maiev being one of them which got remedied within 3 days. Smite has had four to six bad releases depending on who you ask, none of which got remedied in a timely manner. Bad releases meaning extremely over or underpowered. It's not double standards.
Okay. Activision Blizzard had a net income of $500 million in the quarter ended March 31, 2018. 31 days in January, 28 days in February, and 31 days in March is 90 days. 500,000,000/90 = 5.55 (repeating, of course) million in net profit per day.
Dyrus, the winner of Tryhard for Good, had $52,000 donated in his name. Voyboy had $19,600, and Scarra had $22,300. That works out to $93,900.
The only thing we don't know is how much Blizzard paid Dyrus, Voyboy, and Scarra to do the promotion. It lasted a grand total of three weeks, though, and considering the pull of each of them and the revenue they would have lost for the drop in viewers, let's be generous and say that Blizzard paid each of them $10,000. That brings the total spent on Tryhard for Good to $123,900.
123,900/5,560,000 = a whopping 2.2% of its daily net income. I am more than confident calling that a drop in the bucket. Happy?
Edit: changed the final percentage from 0.22 to 0.022 and then to 2.2% because hey, sometimes a guy gets caught up on decimals. Also I went to school for theater so please correct my math if it's wrong.
> We know characters like Tassadar, Tyrande, and Medivh cannot be played as a solo Support. They need to be paired alongside a healer. This is totally fine! We are perfectly okay with these characters showing up in double Support comps (because otherwise they wouldn’t have a team composition they fit in). source
>We are mostly trying to move away from the “double healer” team compositions that we are seeing so commonly. Like everything, double healer is okay in moderation, we just don’t want this to be a common strategy that doesn’t care about map, enemy team composition, etc.
There are extremely few great pure melee assassin players so that it's actually the best role if you want to join competitive. If you filter heroesprofile for Masters only, then Kerrigan tops the winrate charts!
Meanwhile there is currently no single top #100 player maining melee assassin across all 4 regions: https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-gb/leaderboards/storm/19/americas/ (Contrary to the false legend Melee Assassin is the 3rd column from the right) but I have seen players playing >80% melee assassin in top#100 before. The last one I remember is Munky, although Liquipedia lists him as offlane.
This is the correct answer. If someone takes no actions during a draft screen the lobby is disconnected and they get the leaver penalties.
This was changed in the Artanis patch, October 2015
>Players failing to select a Hero in Hero League draft lobbies will no longer be granted a random Hero. Instead, the AFK player will now receive leaver penalties and the game lobby will disband, placing all remaining players back at the queue screen.
This does not stop someone from pre-selecting a hero once the draft started and going AFK at that point, but having a ready check doesn't solve that problem either.
Checked the comics: She gets it on issue #2 while showing Deckard Cain that the Raven's Lord realm was corrupted by the Dark Nexus.
I think she stabs the Nexus Core, and uses the diversion to trap her father in the Dark Nexus, or banish him to an unknown realm.
> The higher someone's rank, the less time they should get
Already the case (see here).

Actually, they do. Scroll down to "Matchmaking Improvements".
There is also a few official developer posts about the new roles being an integral part of the improvements to matchmaking—which I will link here if desired once I find them again—since they realized how absurd most of Quick Match's team compositions have been.
Good stuff!
Definitely something I'll consider adding to the upcoming Resource-page for The Nexus Compendium, along with stuff like Midgame Moves.
I might poke a bit with how to properly link to the specific parts of it over time - but either way, it seems like some good stuff. :)

Nope, Munky currently has 7'902 points -> https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-gb/leaderboards/storm/14/europe/?optimizelyId=8603521632&analyticsEnv=prod (Apparently the MMR is stratospherically high)
They should add Unranked Draft to the Game Modes page for the three year anniversary. There is an "Unranked" section, but it doesn't contain Draft. It does contain Brawl (which is a joke imo).
URD was introduced on June 14th 2016: https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/blog/20143449/heroes-of-the-storm-patch-notes-june-14-2016-6-14-2016/
Boosts are a clone of stimpacks, with the added bonus that the more people that have them in-game, the more bonus xp you'll get.
One thing that is interesting is that the bottom of this page says that boosts can be applied retroactively to a game. So I'm not sure if that means you can save them once you open chests, but it's definitely interesting.
The official HOTS page for her has "HIGH PRIESTESS OF ELUNE" as her title, written in caps just under her name...
https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-us/heroes/tyrande/
And I'm pretty sure her first appearance (Warcraft III) was as a "priestess of the moon".
She obviously wields a bow and has some kind of affinity to hunters, but saying she shouldn't heal because she's a hunter is like saying Uther shouldn't heal since he carries a bad-ass hammer and wears plate armor.
Yes, report.
Seems like HOTS could use a "Gameplay Sabotage" option like Overwatch (leaving aside arguments over whether reporting "works").
Here are the categories for Heroes of the Storm.
None of them really apply ("Abusive Chat" would be a massive stretch but it's the closest I can think of within the categories that exist).
a priest is coming next Tuesday! and she basically has atonement and penance. i think you might like her.
When they do implement Anduin he might be closer to a paladin considering his direction in BFA so far.
Calling it pissy seems a bit excessive. But a lot of people are arguing that it's not clear (or intuitive) at all that they intentionally delay the content they added in the patch when they're already advertising the map, and I agree with them. Only place I've heard about the delay is in the orange notes added to the patch notes that were just released.
I mean, someone visiting this site would think the map was out now. Don't you think?
Actually incorrect, they moved it to the week of July 9.
> As a result, we’re pushing back Season 3’s start date from the week of June 11 to the week of July 9.
More time to get your lootz
Their goal with the changes was absolutely not to emphasize teamfighting and de-emphasize the solo lane.
Here is their blog post on the subject when the changes were announced.
They wanted to make the laning phase more significant and encourage more offensive positioning in the solo lane by removing ammo. I'd say that the changes simply backfired on both of those marks, achieving the exact opposite of what they intended; not the most successful change of all time. But it was a mistake, rather than poor intentions to begin with.
While somewhat comparable, it's not quite the same with HotS. The problem with Hearthstone is the standard rotation invalidates your collection every couple years so you have to keep playing to stay relevant. In HotS, your older characters are still useful, and you can keep building your library over years and not have your progress deleted on a regular basis.
Secondly the grind in HotS isn't quite as bad - you can get a new character about once every two weeks or if you just do the dailies. I've got all the characters having never bought any with real money and I've got enough bank to buy all the new characters at least for the next year.
They've also historically been quite generous - giveaways like the mega bundle (https://heroesofthestorm.com/en-gb/heroes20/megabundles/) have helped people catch up quickly. Older heroes are also cheaper to buy so you can quickly build up a library of basic heroes to play.
Getting the entire hero library does take some time, though. Probably about a year of regular playing. I've heard some rumors of a new mega bundle in 2019, but I guess we'll see.
Nah..
The artifacts had nothing to do with 'items' per se. It was merely a copy/paste of League of Legends old (and much hated) rune system with insanely overshot prices compared to LoL ones. You can find what they looked like right here.
Blizzard simply soon found out the backlash is too heavy for countering with sheer ingame numbers (which the game obviously lacked). The fact that many people from the community were MOBA players, that grew up on Dota/LoL and were very vocal about taking crap from the companies behind their games didn't help either.
Unlike you I can actually contribute to a discussion without throwing out insults.
Rehgar's kit was originally made for Thrall, which they didn't feel like fit Thrall, so they looked up a different shaman in lore and found Rehgar. That's the story behind this. So while Rehgar can be seen as the WCIII shaman unit representative, he has Thrall's original kit.

Source for that, given that it isn’t stated:
No mentions about the mounts. But, the quest-rewards are available in normal loot chests next summer:

Blizz is working on loss forgiveness:
Non-Ranked Battleground Pools Temporarily Reduced:
Alterac Pass
Braxis Holdout
Cursed Hollow
Dragon Shire
Infernal Shrines
Tomb of the Spider Queen
There is during Alterac.

It actually is ironic if you read Blizzard's statements on support power with the existence of Yrel in mind. The irony is that Blizzard says things like "In general, making it so wave clear on Supports is worse," while all the while having in mind "Let's just build supports who aren't tagged as supports."
"The use of words expressing something other than their literal intention," is irony. The irony is that the literal intention of the statements in the link is that support heroes will be nerfed. The real meaning is that heroes who support and are tagged as supports will be nerfed, while non labelled supports will be introduced, buffed, or left in place to replace them.
They are revealing new hero and new map :D And they were some leaks about map already, so probably alterac valley
Don't know why this gets downvoted. It's actually true. Even Blizzard addressed this officially in one of their blogs.
> We take your feedback seriously, and we definitely haven’t done enough lately to acknowledge and respond to it. We can do better, so we’d like to shed some more light on a few of these topics today, starting with Matchmaking.

Stealthed Heroes cannot become Invisible on active battleground locations (such as an active Volskaya Foundry capture point) and are removed from invisible if the point becomes active with them present Stealthed Heroes cannot become Invisible on Mercenary capture points once the camp has been defeated.
i would like to know from the enemy point of view if they are watching your shimmer
No problem! Don't worry yourself too much over not realizing it was changed. To be honest, a lot of people at the time never knew about the center bonus. And tons of people now still don't know that it's been changed. In general, this is just a very commonly misunderstood mechanic, and the fact that they failed to detail the change in the patch notes for that patch (it's actually listed in the 2.34 patch notes) made it even worse. It might just be better for everyone involved that you asked; it's a topic that really bears repeating around the community.
Fenix isn’t the first, Alexstrasza was, and it applies to all launch-skins with all those heroes.
However, those bundles can go on sale, for 50%. It’s rare, but it happens. Fenix, for instance, has.
They use to show healing for everyone on the screen. Not really sure if the CC duration ever got implemented, but they did have healing done/ objective count

>Previously, a player could skip the current Hero League season entirely and attempt to increase their MMR by playing in other game modes. By doing so, they could gain more favorable placement match re-seeding at the start of the next ranked season. We’d prefer to see players progress through the ranking system naturally by competing in Hero League rather than using Quick Match or Unranked Draft to give a boost to their rankings. As a result, all returning Hero League players will now be re-seeded based on their most recent Hero League performance data, instead of their skill in other game modes. For Diamond, Master, and GM players, this performance data will be adjusted for any MMR and rank decay received during Hero League breaks.
>Did Blizz release any info on rank decay for inactivity?
Have you at least tried looking into the patch notes before asking here? Because the answer is right there.
Yes.

Which makes :
> Source
I mean, Blizzard calls it a universe. I'm pretty sure Blizzard is the best source for, you know, what is a Blizzard universe and what isn't.
Heroic Items, just in general Dota tournament drops, dead...
Meanwhile CSGO gets so many viewers because drop system still works nice and also Blizzard started doing it too and increased viewership for Hots, well it's still bad but that's because of their game, system they added is good (clear msg under stream to tell viewers if they can earn loot watching stream (in Dota we have no idea if we can get drop watching stream, lot of time in past casters didn't connect their steam account to twitch so twitch viewers wouldn't be able to get drops) and twitch notification if you get drop, no need to check ingame)
I really wish they would do something to revive Dota tournament drops, update twitch-dota system for watching tournaments, it could be reintroduced for TI8 and bring us more viewers and players.
Playing the Event quest gives you a hero that is part of the Warcraft Hero bundle, so giving out the Warcraft bundle for free makes no sense.

Exactly the same actually!

EDIT: Seems like we did it! YOU were the missing part!
In the recent development update and afterwards, in the AMA the developers answered this question in a more generalized way: specifically here.
I think they do, they just accidentally didn't hook it up properly, and haven't fixed it.
>Certain Heroes, such as Tyrael, Uther, and Zarya, as well as E.T.C. with the Prog Rock Talent, or Chen with the Enough to Share Talent, will display values in both columns
Don't know what the right number should be, but I like the idea in general... IMO maybe closer to 25 or 50 for a normal HL player.
(Hard to get data on a "normal" HL player, but for perspective, almost all of the top 200 GMs already have played more than 100 games this season. Many are closer to 400-500 games so far, and Treebeard is up at 900. But then again, GMs are not "normal")
This is what was actually said here:
We received a lot of feedback from players who felt that both Maiev and Fenix were too powerful on release, and we agree. In the past, many of our Hero releases have been considered balanced, or even weaker than they should be. When a new Hero is weak, it tends to see minimal competitive and ranked play, which limits how much live Hero data we’re able to quickly gather and doesn’t evolve the metagame. We want new Heroes to feel compelling for players at launch, but we also want to do that while maintaining the core gameplay balance of Heroes of the Storm. We’ll continue to work toward improving on this going forward.
Over time, we’ve developed a cadence of releasing balance updates for new Heroes every two weeks. This gives us enough time to collect data and allows players to learn how to play with and against the latest additions to the Nexus.
Occasionally, we’ll release a balance update for a new Hero outside of this time frame, as we recently did with Maiev (and Zarya even further back). This isn’t ideal, as it doesn’t give the community enough time to actually explore a character’s strengths and weaknesses aside from initial gut reactions. It also means we have to make these decisions with very little data and live play experience. Our goals are to avoid knee-jerk reactions, to give players enough time to learn new Heroes, and to gather data before we make any balance adjustments.
