Ebook reader, CBR and Manga/Comic streaming apps would all be awesome. As for Netflix, if it isn't possible maybe a port of Popcorn Time? Source code can be downloaded here: https://popcorn-time.to/source.html
It's a torrent-based free steaming service for Netflix and other movies, series, and anime available for Android, Windows, OSX, Linus and iOS. Here's the download page.
If you decide to try it out, it will notify you to use its paid VPN service but you can just ignore that (unless you want to support the service), as there are other, probably better and definitely cheaper alternatives out there.
>How can I make the version from https://popcorn-time.to working again.
You could try their forum? This subreddit isn't it? How should we know?
>but the problem is that this version has many bugs.
Mac user ... works ok for me. A few minor issues (maybe) but nothing I'd lose sleep over. Been using it about 4 years. It's always been beta .... wouldn't read anything into that.
From this link: https://popcorn-time.to/source.html
"Since we can't publish it on Github anymore, we're publishing it here for you all to see, learn and use and as always it is under full GPL V3 license."
I thought it was legit now (I know in the past they had a war with pt.sh) I don't use .to but I may begin to since .sh and butter project are seemingly dead.
If anyone has any opinion on this I would love to hear more about it.
I checked on my laptop at home running Windows 10 and it is indeed the real deal. I have been installing popcorn time from this fake website for years unbeknownst to me that a built on VPN on popcorn time is indeed fake.
Thank you so much for providing the original download links
P2P is like Torrents usage on your phone. In torrents, you don't download from website like youtube.com but from a peer or different peers seeding the file. I think popcorn time also runs on similar concept of streaming over torrents or something. https://popcorn-time.to
Spotify had something like before but now it's gone. Read more at https://techcrunch.com/2014/04/17/spotify-removes-peer-to-peer-technology-from-its-desktop-client/
Take a look maybe at other P2P activities https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peer-to-peer#Applications

> iirc popcorn time doesn't work anymore or was abandoned right?
no. The only issue i have with Popcorntime is that my internet speed isn't high enough so most of the time i prefer to not use it.
you can still downloadPopcorntime here!
Yoyo! Literally fuck all these guys in the arse by using Https://popcorn-time.to - if I can't have a program when I want and where I want even if I got a card ready? Yeah, I'm going to pirate the living fuck out of it. They lost a paying customer and I feel zero regret. Have fun - and cast that gorgeous 1080 picture to your TV without paying extra!
what the diffrence between
https://popcorn-time.to/
https://popcorntime.sh/
https://popcorntime-online.tv/
Im huge in torrenting, megalinks, DDL, acestreaming, but this shit new to me. Could I get a newbie initiation? thx
Download an app called Popcorn time https://popcorn-time.to/
Enables you to watch movies/tv shows without downloading them on computer. Actually there is a cache file that stored it in your Downloads folder but its not as big as a full episode. It also has built in option for subtitles which people submit very fast.
Movie "Patriots Day" and Popcorn version 5.6.1 Beta from https://popcorn-time.to/. Win 8.1 Pro. Ummm.. Is there difference between my link and your link?
In the very beginning intro there is subtitles saying "Opensubtitles.org" or something like that.. Seems like there is something but... Later not showing any subtitles
Someone else care to post the ones they use? No way is Popcorn the only reliable one.
You can search for it on google as well. Its the first result.
Everyone should have a paid for VPN service and anti virus subscription. Its cheaper then netflix and they can be used with dozens of different applications not just popcorn time.
It used not to start. Now after the newest (Ubuntu-?)update its starts but its basically a white screen with links to ad sites. Which version are you guys using? i have 3.2 from https://popcorn-time.to/
yeah. hit up this link, and then scroll down to find the android download. Of course it isn't available in the play store, and you'll need to change your android settings to allow the side load of APK's not from play store.
Actually I don't.
So there's actually a new version of the old Popcorn Time? Only version I know off that's a more recent one is 0.3.9.
I'm not talking about this Popcorn Time btw; https://popcorn-time.to/
You can try https://popcorn-time.to, or their online version https://popcorntime-online.io. If your country doesn't allow streaming new movies, try their alternate version, butter, which only includes movies which may be streamed according to the law.
