No, there really isn't one. The closest that many found was cherrytree. Not sure if it will do what your requesting here. Joplin is another popular one.
Purpose of Startup: Provide the number one source of software alternatives (as objective as possible)
Technologies Used: Ruby on Rails (mostly), React (JS), Bulma (Frontend framework)
Feedback or Support Requested: Is it clear what the website is for? Do you use similar websites? If yes, which one would you nominate as the best one?
Comments: It's kind of beta, you know. There will be many improvements/pivots/amendments. Any feedback, ideas and support are highly appreciated. Any growth-hacking ideas as well :).
🙇Thaaaanks!
No RAID 0 won't give you 12 TB and it will probably have terrible performance. RAID 0 would only be able to stripe the common capacity, so it would give you 4 TB from each drive combined to a single 8 TB volume, and waste the remaining 4 TB on the larger drive (there's nothing to stripe it with). Performance will suck because 2 different drives will likely read and write at different speeds, meaning one disk has to keep stopping to wait for the other to catch up, introducing poor latency.
Generally, all RAIDs only work well if the drives are all the same make/model, capacity etc, because the drives need to operate simultaneously. RAID also doesn't expand well if you want to add 1 or 2 drives at a time. If you can't handle those requirements, then you'll generally not want traditional RAID.
If you really don't care about redundancy, then you just need to look up storage pooling software, like mergerfs. Personally, I use snapraid, which allows me to use parity for redundancy, hashing for integrity, and has a (limited) pooling feature. Unraid is similar, but it's a server OS, not just a program. They should all easily (if not instantly) be able to accommodate additional disks when you want to expand the storage pool.
Plenty of other alternatives here, but worth noting that I only know snapraid from experience.
I think it's related to an app called 'Undermined Atlas'

>This is an unofficial Undermind Atlas status page
>Undermind Atlas's website is at wwwptanow.net
>Or check out our list of Undermind Atlas alternatives
I've been stuck trying to update. https://www.saashub.com/dvd-profiler-status says they have been down for about 15 hours (around 1 PM EST)
I hope I didn't waste $20 to unlock the software past 50 discs, it took me a while to scan in 2300 bar codes.
I am still think that Bitbucket do the same as Bamboo, because both of them have CI Offering and Bitbucket has now runners to run your code into on premisses ... One thing that I understand is Bitbucket allows different teams working separately and Bamboo has an opportunity to centralize in a single devops team..
Bitbucket has CI as well: https://bitbucket.org/product/features/pipelines
Difference: https://www.saashub.com/compare-bamboo-vs-bitbucket-pipelines https://stackoverflow.com/questions/54774638/difference-between-atlassian-bitbucket-and-bamboo
there are 'login manager' alternatives to gdm/lightdm/ssdm which are a totally text user interface setup (TUI) if that's what you want.
a quick googling shows some..
That's a great list; however it is a bit difficult to navigate. If it was broken down in sub-pages, it could be a bit better. Also, as the founder of SaaSHub, which is solving a similar problem, I would have linked to many of those pages if they existed. In fact, that's one of the vectors SaaSHub is using to build its lists with alternatives.
It's kind of a weak-ass product, in that there are cheaper and better options out there, but if you like the 1Password and other stuff in the bundle, it can be a good value, even if you then turn off Secure+ itself.
Tough to beat your own PiHole for this, though.
There are very few I'm aware of that are a low buy in and have a lot of further growth potential.
If you are looking to invest in an enterprise SaaS why not create your own? I know of a lot of millionaires made this way. Aim for a couple hundred subscribers at $20 USD/month, otherwise you will never break through.
Do you follow any SaaS subreddits?
Have you seen https://www.saashub.com/ to get an idea of the top performers and new offerings out there?
To find the best opportunity it would come with investment in early development and creation or an IPO. Otherwise I would not even waste a thought on it.
Hey mates, I'm the founder of SaaSHub.
I'm positioning it as a software marketplace, but many have said it's more of a software recommendation platform. The focus is on software alternatives and reviews. A platform where software vendors can promote their products and users can find alternatives to any product.
SaaSHub's main competitors, on the one hand, are Capterra, G2 Crowd, etc, on the other, they are sites like AlternativeTo, that are focused on alternatives only.
SaaSHub makes money through 3 main ways: - Minimal ads (AdSense). You will barely see them. - Featured products. Several companies are already being promoted successfully, but I struggle with selling it. Not a single company has cancelled their product-promo yet. Which means it's a positive ROI for them. - Site-wide targeted promos (SaaStr Annual event as of now)
If you are a marketing person or building a SaaS product in any way, I'd be happy to hear your first impressions. Thanks!
To everyone that was involved in this or is interested in the end result - you can see the final result on https://www.saashub.com
Basically it is v1.4 with the following differences: - White arrow (this makes it better in lower resolutions - e.g. favicon) - The shadow matches the background color (so it's flat)
I’d suggest giving a try to https://www.saashub.com when looking for software, too. Also, there’s a handy Chrome extension that can save you time https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/alternative-to-by-saashub/bfllfmelefabahclnehpdocekedapcbj
I hope by Awesome-Selfhosted and Awesome-Sysadmin you are referring to the sites at LibHunt.
I'd also add SaaSHub next to AlternativeTo. It has a much simpler UI and quite often the lists with alternatives are even better.
Disclosure: I'm building both Awesome-Selfhosted and Awesome-Sysadmin (@ LibHunt) ... as well as SaaSHub.

Purpose of Startup: Provide digital tools to maintain the free internet. Provide a physical place for people to meet, learn and work.
Feedback or Support Requested: If you use a VPN for privacy, would you want to use one that's run by a church rather than a company? Have you ever been in a situation where you couldn’t afford to pay for your virtual server or other digital tools? Are there places in the world where a VPS is prohibitively expensive? Do people want machine learning services, Ie graphics cards rental?
Comments: The idea is that a physical location, like a internet café with development environments and guest teachers could be highly valuable to the community. Any feedback, ideas and support are highly valued. I don't make my living as a developer, I'm not the most qualified person but I am persistent.
It's interesting, did you want to tell us a little about it?
I visited: https://www.saashub.com/best-market-research-list but that list doesn't really seem correct. Top of the list is "Google Analytics" and I'm not understanding how that (amongst most of the others listed) has anything to do with market research?
