Tinder doesn't advertise itself as a "hookup app" - nothing on its website mentions hookups. It's society that's placed the label of "hookup app" on Tinder, and Bumble, OKCupid, or any other free dating site.
Tinder is used by people not looking for hookups because they need a place to find love and Tinder is free. Why should they be forced onto another site?
You can actually get your real stats by typing in tinder.com/data I think or tinder.com/stats and they'll send you an email with the total amount of people you swiped on, how many matched you and so forth.

Quickest solution: tinder.com on your phone's browser. Otherwise, it can be a nightmare of diagnostics ranging from software bugs to firewall blocks. Have you tried logging into Tinder from another phone while on your wifi?
Good news for ya. Tinder and Bumble are both accessible on your computer via web browser.
Tinder's had this capacity for a while, but Bumble just rolled it out very recently. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether you have to first sign up and create a profile in the mobile app before being able to access the browser sites, since I created my phone app profiles first. I do think you'll need to log in via Facebook; not sure if that's a deal killer for ya.

Your pictures are trash and you're killing your potential. The 1st photo is the only one that's decent.
Second photo is trash because the lighting is dark and it's the classic bathroom selfie pose that should always be avoided. Third photo is trash because it's blurry. Fourth photo is trash because your face is blurry and not in focus, and you're too far away and to the side for you to be the main focus of the picture.
Learn to take good photos otherwise you're killing your potential.

It's because most of your pictures are in your living room, and there's even one where you're doing a bathroom selfie.
The only good photo is the running photo (because it shows you have hobbies) and the one of you and your dog.
Take all of your pictures outside, make sure the lighting is good and look up guides on the internet how to take good pictures of yourself.

Definitely get rid of the first and third picture. The first picture because it's up-close and the third photo because it's a selfie, and you're wearing glasses and a collared shirt which makes you look too nerdy.
You have a naturally skinny body type so getting pictures of yourself in nice jackets and long sleeve shirts is your best bet. These type of shirts will help with hiding your skinny body frame.
My suggestion is to get a semi closeup shot of yourself that's outside. It should be a chest up shot, meaning that the picture should only include your chest and above. Make sure you're wearing a long sleeve shirt, not wearing glasses, and the lighting is good. The picture should be bright and your face should NOT be darker than the background. Then after you take the photo, edit it in post production to look a little better.
I'm going to let you in on a little secret that many photographers know about. The best time to shoot photos outside is during the golden hour, which is about 1 hour after sunrise or 1 hour before sunset. If you really want some ideal photos, take pictures during this time.

I tried gossyp.me myself and I love it. I was successful with tinder.com too, but I find way more chemistry with people by talking to them - so I think to put it in a nutshell, it's just less of a waste of time to go down the gossyp route. I also have friends who are uncomfortable speaking to strangers so quickly, but for me it really is the way to go haha

I actually think photo 2 should be first. Suit photo looks too formal, n 2 you look cute and approachable. Also, 2, 4 and 5 are my favourites. The others aren't necessarily bad, but aren't very special.

Uh, at this point I don't think even God can save me. I have 15 likes. I had 3 matches according to my notifications when I was asleep. But they weren't there when I opened up the app. It's been 6 days and have not had likes for a while let alone matches.
