Download a called app Root Browser - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree&hl=en
Then go too the following directory /data/data/com.valvesoftware.android.steam.community/files/Steam-[Steam64 ID]
Then open it with a text editor and in there you will find everything you need :)
Sorry I checked your tool and it doesn't seem to be able to open the root files, here is a free alternative to what I show. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree&hl=en_GB
Root browser find your sdcard and your download folder, click the apk file, now before you hit instal read the app name and icon in the top, if it doesn't match your game don't instal, if it does, I guess try it out :)
Changing the system partition while your device was rooted was an accepted thing a few years ago, when the modifies were kept in the system partition.
Magisk is System-less, nothing touches the system partition. You want that, ok?
Get a root explorer (I use this one ) and give it root access for at least 10 minutes.
Browse to the system folder and edit the build.prop file there. Make sure to save it. If errors occur ( file can't be saved ) try again with other root browsers.
SD maid has probably my favourite in built browser and no ads with or without the pro version. It supports CHMOD, indexing and all around looks good. Plus if you buy the pro version you get alot more than paying just for a root Explorer
I have experience with and can vouch for these 2 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.thedarken.sdm
Note: The first one has ads, the second one dosent but slows down its auto matinence features when you haven't played for it.
I have this app and whenever I select a sound for notifications it prompts me to choose from internal storage or that app. I just select from that app and locate the file I want.
Use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree app. after installing and opening it you should get a SuperUser prompt. You need to accept it, after accepting you will mmost likely get access to the root directory. Also since you re new at this, be sure you have actually rooted your device. Go to Magisk Manager and you should have both options green one saying Magisk 20.4 has been installed and another syaing Magisk Manager is installed or something along those lines, if you have one red, it means you re.not actually rooted
Make sure you don't have any folders called TWRP on your device. I personally use this app for file/folder browsing on my phone, and it doesn't require root access. You can use the search function on it to make sure. You can safely rename the folder to whatever if you find it.
I got this to partially work on a Galaxy S7 I got from a friend to test XCloud... I was able to use <strong>File Explorer Root Browser</strong> to edit the system > build.prop file to change ro.product.model= to say Pixel 4 and ro.product.manufacturer= to say Google. Then I ran the command adb shell settings put global device_name "Pixel 4" from a command prompt with the phone connected to my computer.
I am able to launch stadia games but the controller isn't being recognized via USB cable. I have a Mini USB converted to USB C in the mix so I don't know if that's the issue. I am going to try to get my hands on a rooted Android phone with a USB C port to try again. Just for kicks! :). I am an iPhone user and this is my first time rooting an android phone ... hopefully, we get official support on iPhones soon.
Yeah, please don't subject pale too es file explorer... Known data stealing fuckos. Mixplorer or jrummy root browser are much much better.
MiXplorer: https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/com.mixplorer
File Explorer Root browser: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree
Install Root Browser app and check if there are 2 files:
Su file in:
/system/bin/su
and:
/system/xbin/su
If it's been rooted before there will be superuser leftovers (even if SuperSU is uninstalled now). I had to get rid of them manually in order to make pokeGO work for me.
Install Root Browser on your friend's phone and check if there are 2 files in these directories:
Su files in:
/system/bin/su
and:
/system/xbin/su
If it's been rooted those files will be present, since removing them (through ADB) the game works flawlessly for me, even on unofficial ROMs (which are not supported supposedly).
DL this through Bluestacks since i dont think it has a file root explorer in it by default
then follow this
Here's something you can do to check for sure:
Download this app:
Root Browser
Open the app, don't download the packages that it asks you to download though. Go to settings, named "prefs", by swiping the bottom options bar to the very right, and check "Show storage bar". Then go back to the main screen and go to "/sdcard/". Then check the storage bar on the bottom to see how much is actually used.
Also, there is a well known bug in Marshmallow (which I'm assuming you're on) in which SD cards formatted as internal don't work. To restore the functionality of your SD card, set it to external.
Are you using a root browser? A regular file manager will not show the files you need.
I'd go with something like Root Browser.
You can use a file manager app to back up your data, such as Root Browser. Though I'm not sure why would you need to install this patch at all if the official version worked for you.
What explorer are you using? the Data folders don't show up in a regular file manager. You'll need a root browser for that. Something like Root Browser.
Could you post some screenshots of your downloads folder in the app "Root Browser"?
We'll be able to help more then.
Since it's a phone with not much concern for other funcionality, I'd go to the route of getting another ROM for it, if you already have a custom recovery it should be easy.
Download an AOSP based rom (these are always the lightest) so you have the phone as fast as it can be, and battery lasting as much as it can have! Since the S3 mini is not exactly fast, nor battery friendly! I've used this one before. Not great, but usable.
Just make sure the ROM you choose is compatible with your device model!
So for installing it (assuming you have a custom recovery and an SDcard)
Download the ROM and Gapps.
Transfer them to your SD card.
Reboot into recovery, do a system wipe
Install ROM first, then GApps.
Reboot (be patient, this can take a while).
?????????
Profit!
I've used a Galaxy S3 Mini (GT-I8200L) for a few weeks while my Moto X was dead. It's so slow it's painful!
This is the way I'd recommend, since samsung's TouchWiz is awful.
If you prefer to keep the stock rom, you can use something like Root Browser, or Solid Explorer. Just please don't use ES Explorer, that app is obnoxious!
/u/thechilipepper0 is right.

ES File Explorer is owned by Cheetah Mobile, a Chinese company that makes millions off of ad revenue (unwanted, push notification ads, lockscreen ads and random pop-ups) and selling information collected from the users of CM apps.
I stopped using ES years ago, way before it got taken over by CM. I switched to Root Browser and Root Explorer back in the ICS days, but switched to Solid Explorer after KitKat came out and have been happy with Solid Explorer.
I use one called root browser. It has a built-in text editor and many other things. Works quite well. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree
I just used Root Browser to uninstall all the damn keyboards that Google has pre-installed (like Hindi, Pinyin, and Korean input). Remember to install BusyBox before Root Browser and then delete those keyboards from "system/app" (you can always reinstall them later from the Play Store if you need them). This will give you enough space to install Adaway and/or Xposed Framework if you want.
Alright, it's kind of going to be a mixture of what /u/laithe and /u/dMerchh were talking about.
First, you'll have to install the most recent JPN APK posted on this sub, located here. Once you have that installed, I would recommend also using the programs Root Browser and SH Script Runner. All of these programs should allow (or be allowed) to use Superuser access.
Open SH Script Runner. If you named your folder that you made in /data/data/ the same way I did, no code changes will be necessary. You can paste this code in SH Script Runner:
rm -f /data/data/com.bandainamcogames.dbzdokkan/shared_prefs/Cocos2dxPrefsFile.xml
rm -f /sdcard/.com.bandainamcogames.dbzdokkan/device
rm -f /sdcard/.com.bandainamcogames.dbzdokkan/identifier
cp -a /data/data/co/Cocos2dxPrefsFile.xml /data/data/com.bandainamcogames.dbzdokkan/shared_prefs
Click Save, and save it wherever you would like for a backup. Also, be sure that before you run the code, you click the button that says "Super User" before clicking Run, otherwise it will not run properly. Super User will be red when it is active.
You may reopen the Dokkan Battle JPN app and perform any rolls. When you would like to reload, click the tab viewer button beside the home button in Droid4X and swipe the process to kill it.
Once the process is killed, open SH Script Runner and run the script. It will open a blank window with a "Close" button at the bottom if ran correctly.
If all ran correctly, re-open the Dokkan Battle game and it should start off right after you beat Hercule.
Whenever you want to reroll, you will have to kill the Dokkan Battle process before running Script Runner. If you're having any problems or code issues, please let me know. Again, thank you to /u/laithe and /u/dMerchh for providing links to help out with the process.
Edit: Formatting is a thing.
Use a Root Browser app like this
you will have to root your phone via/ without custom recovery
guide root via custom recovery : https://youtu.be/dlRHGG-sVSo
then install root browser : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree&hl=en_US&gl=US
guide boot animation : http://androidfact.com/how-to-change-your-android-boot-animation/
if this did not help you
the key word you are looking for is boot animation .
type how to change boot animation of an android device.
rooting will void your warranty and /or brick your device .
I just use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree but I also have AdAway set up so I don't I know how many ads it should have.
In case you mean the root browser doesn't open, I use this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree&hl=en because root browser classic was crashing too.
SUCCESS! Thank you so much! after googling your suggestion I found this thread and was able to repeat the steps.
The first time I tried I used Root Browser and it worked, however my volume and power buttons no longer functioned while the phone was on (Fingerprint scanner seemed to work though?). I saw many non-rooted users with the same issues but none of the suggestions worked.
I had to re-flash the stock KDZ and re-root, then I had to make /system write-able by using BusyBox. Then I used ES File Explorer to edit the build.prop file I needed.
Thanks again!
1)I'm using Lightshot, Shift + PrntScr auto saves screenshot.
As for root editors, I used root browser and root toolboxlite
I can confirm that it works with CM13 on Galaxy S5 G900T.
This is mainly towards those who are a little less tech savvy (myself included when it comes to phones) Regardless I hope this helps those such as myself who where having problems with Magisk. I can make a video upon request if anyone needs a visual explanation. Have a good day and be safe out there :D
