That's not going to work. There is no framework for the themes and installing the theme store app will not work even if you manage to get it installed. The themestore anyway deals with wallpapers, icons and change of accent colours for the notification bar. You cant just make it look like stock android unless you root it. On that note, there is actually no tablet version of Android anyway. Something that might work for you is this. Install the app below. It gives you the material themed version of the status bar.

Additionally, download Good Lock from galaxy store and you can change the navigation bar icons to a stock android look using the navbar module.

Not sure how legit this is but this video shows an app that can change the theme of your status bar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVfokjaw9Go, here's the play store link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.msb
You could turn off BoomSound if the notification annoys you too much.
You could install Material Status Bar Lollipop from the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.msb&hl=en, more of a workaround than a solution.
Not sure if a different launcher other than sense would help.
The only other real alternative is to root and install xposed.
Curious, didn't this bother you previously? When BS was on the other side of the notification area.
I use Material Status Bar. It will get rid of the carrier name, but idk if it will do all that you want. Without root, all it can do is cover up the status bar with a new one.
The best app to replace the status bar and notification center is this, just be prepared for jankyness and crashes. The pro version is much much better and has no ads, but still a little janky.
Systemui is force closing... Install an app to change to MTP to back stuff up, and flash stock firmware. 1. Use this as a temporary status bar to get to notifications- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.msb
Change mtp from the notification
Backup whatever you want
Use LG FlashTool and go back to stock.
Is this what you're looking for?
Does your phone suppprts themes ? If yes, then try new themes. Flagship galaxy phone has theme options. (But, I am sure that samsung disabled this feature in mid range phones.) Anyway, check for it.
Other solutions won't be that smooth. But, you can try some apps from playstore .
iOS 11 Control center - It has ads. But, I think it only showd ads, when you open settings of that app.
Last option is root. But, I don't think you want to root your device.
I'm gonna add one my self here, this one is awesome and has great potential!

Maybe this? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.msb seems slightly off imo tho
I know this is a bit late, but there's a few ways to do this. The non root solution is to use a status bar app. There are a few options, but this is the one I play around with for day and liked. Keep in mind this was a few years ago. There are other options too.
The root solutions are :
The more reliable way is to install a custom rom. I use the official Lineage OS rom for the Oneplus 5T and I love it. The last way is to use this magisk tweak with root

This should help you.
Thx for the tip. Seems iffy to have an overlay over the regular statusbar though. Have also been looking at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.msb
You could try this app, not sure if it does what you're looking for though
Not OP but at a guess it looks like Material Status Bar if he's Non-Root, which has options to customise notifaction centre too.

There's this but it's very limited
