Go to Nova launcher settings > Desktop > icon layout > and uncheck Label

You can use gestures in Nova launcher prime to open the app drawer

You need Zooper widget pro first then you download this app. Don't have Zooper widget pro so I don't know how it works exactly.

Zooper's got some pretty sweet themes floating around the play store, stuff like Min and Wafer

There's also the option of using KLWP/KWGT, which has different options.

If I were you I'd go with Zooper, since you seem to already be using that. Although, if you're willing, I'd recommend a switch to using KLWP, which has several advantages (since it's a live wallpaper vs widgets). If you (or your battery) hate live wallpapers, there's KWGT (which is the same, but in a widget format).
