That's Roccat's Power-Grid.
Roccat no longer offers the software, but it can be downloaded from elsewhere and the app is still on the play store.
See the comments in this post for information.

This should get you by until it's ready.

It doesn't look like it's been updated for a while, it doesn't come with a fancy-schmancy UI for ED and you'll have to do the set up yourself, but it still works perfectly once it's been configured. Not sure about Android 8 or 8.1 compatibility, but it works with no issues on my Note 8 running 7.1, so it should be fine. It doesn't handle device rotation though, so you're kinda stuck with it in portrait mode.
They're talking about Roccat Power-Grid. It's basically an app that lets you set up a phone or tablet as an array of buttons for your computer, along with a few other things. The usefulness for an ED player is fairly obvious.
Unfortunately, Roccat abandoned the project years ago and the app no longer really works.
Adding to the other app there's multiple free versions of basically the same app here https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/e8l9wl/gic_use_your_tablet_to_control_elite_dangerous/
Or here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.roccat.powergrid
I've been using an oasis for E:D with Roccat Power-Grid. You just use a tablet as the interface by installing the sister android app on your tablet and you get a nice easy oasis touchscreen.
If you've got some GIMP/PS skills, you can fully customize the artwork for the grid and the buttons to give it a nice MW5 skin.
When you search "Power Grid" at Google PlayStore, there is only one power grid, registered by ROCCAT GmbH

This is the one I downloaded always.
Roccat Powergrid would probably be the best option for a sofa setup, since it'll run on a tablet or phone and use local network to connect to your PC. And much cheaper than the streamdeck https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.roccat.powergrid
Edit: Fair warning though. It's no longer being actively developed, should still work like a charm though.
Roccat's power-grid app can kind of do this. It's not really great, can be quite frustrating to setup but it seems to work pretty well.

Try Voice attack - they have voice packs for ed http://www.voiceattack.com/ Or Roccat Tablet App (Android) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.roccat.powergrid&hl=en_GB You probably have to put a client on your PC
They are Thrustmaster MFD's with the Roccat App on two 7" tablets.
The Roccat app works really well in Star Citizen, almost providing an unfair advantage for those using the Roccat SC shield control interface. I highly recommend using it, it's pretty slick.
The app works on mobile phones as well, and it comes in two different UI colors, Blue and Green.
Description:
When flying around and a Vanduul get's behind you, you can shift all shields to the rear in less than a second AND the app automatically resets the ship's in-game UI back to the ship status page (which the game doesn't do by default when navigating).
The Roccat app also has a voice that plays through the desktop with a nice soothing "Shields Front" "Shields Aft"
NOTE:
Beyond the following instructions, there was no advanced setup (.dll or .cfg file modifications) needed to get this working, it literally "just works".
Ease of setup: 2/10 (1 being easy, 10 being difficult)
Setup:
Create an account
Download the software on your computer.
Link
Download the software to your iOS or Andriod device.
iOS
Android
Open the software from your desktop and remove the default "custom tab"
Then visit the Roccat App Store and pick a color
Green

Then, through the desktop app, select them and add the two tabs and click Apply
From the tablet/phone, scroll over to the right until you see the two new profiles.
Launch Star Citizen.
Pick an Arena Commander Mode.
Use the App
DONE!
I'm a fan of Power-Grid.
Highly customizable, in some ways superior to the streamdeck, IMO.
It's Roccat Power-Grid, a tool that you can use to get an extra screen / panel on your phone or tablet to interact with your games, write macros etc.
You grab the PC Software from Roccat for free
>http://www.roccat.org/en-US/Products/Gaming-Software/Power-Grid/Home/
Then you install the App on your Phone / Tablet
>iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/roccat-power-grid/id663679239?l=de&ls=1&mt=8
>Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.roccat.powergrid
Then you go the link provided in my post and grab the Grid, load up the PC Software and configure it, connect your phone and it will appear on it to use with your games.
You can get many more Grids at Roccat's site for other games too, or make your own using the software.
Would Roccat PowerGrid do the job? Used it shortcuts in Elite Dangerous. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.roccat.powergrid
> power grid
This it? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.roccat.powergrid
Looks interesting. I wonder how this compares to Roccat Power-Grid...
Roccat Power Grid seems to be up again.

Register is needed: here.
And Power-Grid app requires android 2.2. I have been able to use an old Galaxy Tab 3 with 4.4 for this a few mins ago. In-app purchases are only to increase custom grids.

Have you given Roccat's Powergrid a try? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.roccat.powergrid
I believe there was an app from Roccat that let you use a phone as a button box. EDIT: preset and another preset link to app I think you can make your own setup using the app too
Agreed. Maybe the power grid app for Android? Or Unified Remote? Sorry I can't check it at work.

I tried this a while back, it seemed to work alright.
