There's actually a way around it, it's called symlinks.
"Symbolic links, otherwise known as symlinks, are basically advanced shortcuts. You can create symbolic links to individual files or folders, and then these will appear like they are stored in the folder with the symbolic link even though the symbolic link only points to their real location."
Long story short :
Run your command prompt with administrator rights and type this
mklink /J %link_path% %folder_path%
for me it is :
mklink /J "C:\Users\X\Documents\Assetto Corsa" "H:\Assetto Corsa"
The files are located on my H drive but appears like they are on the original default folder, on my C drive.
Moving your librairies is kind of the same thing I guess.
No I've not. But I said in my post, that I was asked to host a server, the server is free to download under Library-Tools for ALL steam users. I don't have and I don't play the game. You can check that for yourself, if you don't believe me. (The free download, the other thing is hard to check...) Screenshot of Steam
Maybe I will play it in the future. If you would believe it or not, I do not have a single illegal version of any software or game on my pc. And as you might notice, I've quite a few games on Steam and I've paid for them: steamdb Calculator.
Edit: I've also a dedicated server for some game servers, web servers, database servers etc. (also a former minecraft server, and NO, not cracked).
I am a student in computer science and I know what developers have to do and how "underrated" their jobs are sometimes. I've a "minijob" as PHP developer alongside my academic studies. If I would really want the game, I would buy it, but at the moment my personal focus is on ArmA 3. >It was hard for me to even detect / test the problems without the >game and without"near" friends with the game, but I was asked if I could host an assetto corsa server. The server is for friends of mine.
Yup, uploaded my Setup. I played 300hrs with it and found it to be the best PS4 Controller config.
You can paste it into Documents/AssettoCorsa/cfg/controllers/savedsetups
and it will appear ingame ;)
edit: link to setup: http://www.filedropper.com/olizzkerscontrollersettings
If you want to be factual... which is what your comment is attempting to get at, why not list the actual facts.
Since you wont, Ill be pedantic for you...
> The game was $40 for over a year, often went on sale for $20...
This is factually wrong on every level. The game was only $20 twice in its entirety of being available for sale. Once in the Steam summer sale of 2014, and then as a weekend special in August.
Not only that, but as /u/seriousspy pointed out, Spa, the SLS, and the SLS gt3 were in fact going to be dlc. People bitched, so Kunos threw in spa and those cars as a thank you to all the early adopters and it became part of the game.
So yes, please go on and tell us more about how little you know about AC, Im sure we'll be glad to listen ;)
Also check https://sellfy.com/RaceSimStudio/ regarded as thé best formula cars in simracing by many. Paid content, but worth the money. And for historical content, search for the ‘grand prix legends’ pack.
Don't worry lol, I have a version that is not a conversion from rFactor or aspec878's version. I also have the kia cee'd ;)

I use this and it works like a charm
Though you'll need to install vJoy and disable it on some games or it might cause a second player/controller get detected
The last update on steam was 12:38:50 UTC. And it usually takes a couple hours for everyone to receive it.
However, every update they publish on steam does not mean that we get it. It might be an internal test version thing.
I bought Racing Sim Studio's Indy Car mod and was really happy with the purchase. This is probably the best you can get right now. https://sellfy.com/racesimstudio/p/formula-americas-2020-for-assetto-corsa/
The car itself is a paid mod from racesimstudio
But irrespective of that you definitely want to install Sol (and Custom Shaders Patch) for the enhanced graphics and weather effects across the whole game which is free from Race Department
Yeah, wait... AEDST.

Same time. Just a lot more relaxed and different races. TeamSpeak is a must.
Could you please go to “AppData\Local\AcTools Content Manager” and see if “Logs” folder is in there? If so, please, send its content to me.
Also, maybe you could try this unpacked version instead?
What you are asking someone to make would take even an educated, talented 3d artist many hours of work to make. But you want it for free.
If you really want this stuff I would just learn blender and do it yourself. https://www.blender.org/
You can download Blender for free and use that as a video editor, really good Blender video tutorials here.
PS4 doesn't work natively on Windows so you need to download a program that makes it emulate an xbox controller. I would recommend downloading this as its what I use for other games as well as the drone camera mod in AC.
I used OBS to record/overlay/stream. Obviously, the quality isn't as good since I needed it to have lower bitrate to be streamable. Normally, when I'm not streaming, nvidia shadowplay works pretty awesomely at 1080p60 at 40 or so Mbps bitrate.
URD have updated their mods to work with v 1.6 and notified me via the email address I used to purchase them a few weeks ago.
It contained a link to their Sellfy shop - https://sellfy.com/alless - where I was able to download the new versions of what I had previously purchased.
Check your email spam folder or contact URD direct to see if they can help get you the latest versions of the mod you are having problems with.
Here you can read all about it But basically how i like to use it: you can switch between the 1-6 and the 7-12 interval, so if you push the key you chose your 1st gear becomes the 7th, the 2nd the 8th and so on. It's not that big of an inconvenience, since basically you won't really use the 1-6 range except in the city, and only if you have a loaded truck.
I know it's possible, but it can't be done after the replay file has been created. There's no feasible way to edit the replay file when it looks like this. I'll keep it in mind for future videos, though.
Thanks for the setup! Not had a chance to try it yet, but from that video I think most of your time gained on me is braking. You brake quite a bit later than I seem to be able to and you're able to stay on the brakes longer than I can. I'm having to feather them to avoid locking quite early in the braking zone compared to you. I think your car generally looks more stable on the brakes and throttle. Braking later and accelerating sooner.
EDIT: Just tried it. Not a fan I'm afraid. It feels very skittish to me. Bottoms out far too much and keeping the damn thing in a straight line is far too much hard work. Maximum front ARB is mad! I may be able to go quicker with it but I'm finding it such hard work to drive, I think I'll stick with mine. Yours doesn't suit my driving style. Also, what's the reason behind only using 5 gears? Here's mine: https://www.mediafire.com/?tytld0fnl2fd4do

Found that option through Amazon UK - £280. I'm sure you could shop around and find a better deal somewhere though. Good luck :)
Keyboard is next to unplayable, i really tried that a lot. If you have a modern Android phone with a good gyroscope then consider using this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Trivela.Stw
It makes steering so much better and more precise than mouse steering and feels natural.
If you have an android phone or tablet handy you could use something like this.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Relmtech.Remote
I don't use it for gaming as my rig has space for keyboard and mouse, but I use it for my media system and I don't see why it wouldn't work for AC.

Come to think of it, I'm an idiot. I'm using the required 330w power supply for my X17, so idk how much that changes things.
Had another concern. As a more motion-sensitive vr user, does the wider fov of the G2 make for a sickening experience? is that fov comfortable/adjustable?
Bruh you missed something big in school, my friend. So called blacklight or UV light brings a fluorescent effect so the Amateurs ans Stickers in the Car Shine...
I recommend reading the Skip Barber Racing School’s reference book Going Faster! It’s a great resource that will introduce you to the fundamentals of race car physics, driving, set ups, and more.
For anyone else having this issue - I highly recommend getting a usb adapter specifically for peripherals where this matters. They will always be plugged in 'correctly' if you just leave them in the usb adapter and remove the usb adapter as needed.
I have one for my race setup and one for my flight setup.
i got uhhh. this thingy well i cant find it any longer.
but ill give you my specs...
ryzen 2600 6 core
radeon RX580 4gb
32 GB trident ram
and the reason my computer is trash, the A920? mother board.
got this bish for like 650 tax and warrenty included.
granted this thing ran vast majority of games at 60 frames 1080p. good enough for me, as id been gaming on 15 frames in most games....
this is prety much the modern equivelent to my computer.
both the gpu and cpu are one gen newer.
the graphics card is a real uhhh, not that great. to be honest.
but it will play most games (besides new ubisoft games like the jungle shooters) but even my old technology can run most games max graphics 1080p
the reason i speak good about these pre builds. is the GPU is 400 dollars, the cpu is 300 dollars.
thats 700 dollars. the ram alone would make this more expensive to build yourself.
granted, this prebuild really isnt able to be upgraded.
if you think about the purchase as a console, where you can buy games for cheap. you will be saving money in no time.
just keep in mind this is a more affordable option for a reason. cant really be upgraded that easily.
If you like playing in the dark they have ir room lights.

I’ve never used one but would love to try it
Oh, another thing that made my controller game way better.. Get those little thumbstick extenders. They give you way more accuracy with the sticks. Game changer!
I don't think it has the best physics on mobile. I think that goes to Drive Sim by Dwayne Blundell.
It's by far the best drive-in experience I've had on mobile.
There was this other game as well that I really liked but I forgot the name. It was basically a big carpark with a bunch of cones and you needed to drive the course that was laid out as fast as possible and it wasn't easy. It was an actual challenge. There were like 50 levels and it took me 20+ hours to complete it all.
no problem!

that's the one I got, there might be cheaper ones without the nylon braiding.
If you are somewhat technically minded, I suspect you could fiddle around with using an AutoHotkey script to control a virtual joystick (vJoy) akin to this script. (This is essentially the approach universal joystick remapper uses, but there it's joystick to vJoy.)
The cool thing with this would be that you could have multiple buttons for controlling steering, "a" being "full left lock", "f" being "a bit left", and "s" and "d" being just in between. A similar thing could be done for the accelerator & trail braking... I think it could actually work OK. I honestly don't think you're getting that much more accuracy out of the ±5mm travel on a typical game pad...
It's a kind of attack where you try to find subfolders on webservers. The functionality comes with operating systems like Kali Linux (dirbuster Kali). This one seemed to search for open admin interfaces to get access to a SQL Database (it even checked the folders and files for different versions...)
it's really great to know that you used G2A.

Here's the one I use - cheap but I find it gets the job done, although there's still occasional throttling especially if you have other apps open. If you're willing to spend more there should be other good options out there. Good luck!
I agree with you mostly. I just got VR and I’ve noticed the realism of the head motion had helped me in someways be faster in traffic. However some games like RF2 i’m slower. I think the head motion contributes to the motion sickness a little more that’s my only problem it’s not speed for me. Last thing is the lack of g force as mentioned too. For me the speeds isn’t an issue overall i’m not breaking any records though since I just started basically a few months back with a wheel.
However for those getting motion sick I bought a fan that clips on to my rig and I noticed if I blow air on my face / ears / neck it almost 100% gets rid of the sickness.
Here’s the fan I used Genesis 6-Inch Clip Convertible Table-Top & Clip Fan Two Quiet Speeds - Ideal For The Home, Office, Dorm, More Black (A1CLIPFANBLACK) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01559O0WY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_XC0TRZ8G7R9HSE8A9TMD
It’s pretty easy to do and the same process applies to most mods.
Go to your Steam folder (ex. C: Steam) - steamapps - common - assettocorsa - content
Each name above is a folder with in the “content” folder you’ll see various others (benchmark, content, tracks, etc.). Open the “cars” folder and drag the folder of your new mod into it. Enjoy your new car!
I highly recommend using 7zip for mod install as you don’t have to worry about opening files and .zips
> Like the server browser. I can search for the name of a server, but I can't search for my friends that are playing and they can't see the server name when they are already on a server. Could you PLEASE add a way to find out which server friends are playing on and an easy way to join them? Also can you let me put servers on a favorite list? Can you let me filter servers on track or car?
Just in case, I’m working on an alternative launcher which has pretty flexible filtering system, list of favorite servers, option for adding servers by IP and stuff. Online section isn’t ready yet, but once will be. :)
It’s in development, but beta-version is already available for download — use the link /u/MicaLovesKPOP sent or, for example, this one (if you’re interested, there are a lot of information about its development and some new and planned features at this board).
I also had issues with the latest software, but the Logitech Profiler which came with the wheel works well: Logitech Profiler version 5.10.
I don't have the official Logitech link but this should work: http://download.cnet.com/Logitech-Gaming-Software/3000-2121_4-10973777.html
If not, I could upload the original CD contents and share it.
I got an email from RSS earlier saying that Formula Hybrid 2018 is free for download. I'm not sure until when it will apply, but I'm assuming it will last until end of Christmas day.
To get the mod, click 'Purchase Now' on the lower part of the page (or use this direct link). You might have to enter your email address to get access to the download link itself.
Oh yeah forgot, in the game settings you edit your pictures, SOL Config, PPFilter, etc. Then go to your editor (mostly me and u/TikkzBikkz use a regular online editor, This and just play around with the sliders, obviously Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop would be the best choice, but that costs money.
Hmm... Seems you're right Kriskobg, the prices have moved upwards since I last checked. If I remember right, a few months back (maybe more?) Amazon and NewEgg were offering super lower prices.
https://www.mediafire.com/?j4iscj3kgywzagc
That's the engine tweak and sound modification for the car. Put both of those files in assettocorsa/content/cars/rx7_fc/data
:)
Oh and BTW, the car has turbo and blow off sounds already in the files. So you won't need anything separate. If you have any questions, let me know!
https://drive.google.com -> Select Folder -> Share -> Who has access:Change -> Public on the web (or Anyone with the link) -> Access:Can edit
That should work I guess. Haven't tried it yet though.
In big short, you will need:
UCR
vJoy
Install vjoy (minimum installation is enough), run UCR, install SCPVBus. Then in Plugin Selection select Remapper - Buttons To Axis and click Add. Then rightclick High and set it to whatever button you want to use. Next, set Low and Mid to 0 and High to 100. Then select vJoy Stick 1, Axis 6.
Now you should be able to bind it in AC settings. If not, I'll upload you a custom config to load in-game.
I chose this one from the same page because its newer and comes with clamp. Thanks for your help!

Ok, so do you have an Amazon or Microcenter link? I looked and could not find them for under $450. G29 is currently selling for $243 brand new though: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Dual-motor-Feedback-Responsive-PlayStation/dp/B00Z0UWWYC/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=t300&qid=1636438447&s=videogames&sr=1-5
For the RC release, the update was pushed on SteamCMD fairly quickly.
Guide to setup an Assetto Corsa server on Linux with SteamCMD
Create a directory for SteamCMD:
mkdir steamcmd; cd steamcmd
Download SteamCMD:
wget http://media.steampowered.com/installer/steamcmd_linux.tar.gz
Extract the archive steamcmd_linux.tar.gz
tar -xvzf steamcmd_linux.tar.gz
This command will launch, update SteamCMD and install Assetto Corsa Server (replace SteamLogin and SteamPassword with yours)
./steamcmd.sh +login SteamLogin SteamPassword +@sSteamCmdForcePlatformType windows +app_update 302550 +quit
I use the variable @sSteamCmdForcePlatformType to force the install of Assetto Corsa server because the files are listed for windows only. You can check it here.
The server files will be in this directory:
> /Steam/steamapps/common/Assetto\ Corsa\ Dedicated\ Server/
> /Steam/steamapps/common/Assetto\ Corsa\ Dedicated\ Server/cfg/
Launch the server
./acServer_linux
Get a real mod, example: https://sellfy.com/racesimstudio/p/owm1gs/
That care will spin out when it hits the powerband in first through fifth gear. You're just using shit mods.
It’s the Viper GTS-R, part of the GT pack from Race Sim Studio, here’s a link. It may seem pricey but trust me, all of these cars are of equal or higher quality than the Kunos cars.
Official content is limited but Race Sim Studio has a good couple F1 mods. Been busy with school so haven’t had a chance to try any of them out personally but I’ve heard lots of good things about their other mods
I think this is the RSS gt one so he isn't allowed to. It's a paymod so you have to buy it from them (duh)
Link to their website: https://sellfy.com/p/5sVv/
It's 15 EUR but it's worth it.
Anything by Race Sim Studio is fantastic, their Formula Hybrid 2019 is absolutely stunning.
Outside of that, here's a random list of things I recommend:
Apps:
Tracks:
Cars:
If you're new to drifting, low angle, low HP cars are where you should start. The stock 1m from Kunos is fun to throw around. I'd really recommend that you buy Liveforspeed if you plan on transitioning to real-world drifting or if you really enjoy drifting - It's extremely accurate to real life and a lot of people that drift professionally (and drive professionally, check out Valtteri Bottas playing LFS) - Honestly though, I bought LFS in 2007 and played it ever since (for the most part) and it taught me so much about steering feeling. First time drifting in RL was a breeze.
LFS has good clutch-physics(?). There's also a free version you can download here; https://www.lfs.net/?page=downloads
Also. Remember to drive with your wheel set to 900 degrees of rotation. Watch some vids and learn how to heel-toe and rev-match. Soon you'll be enjoying it full out! Good luck.
I use a wheel, but before I got one I used an xbone gamepad and used these settings and was very happy with it. For mapping buttons like MGUK modes or some such Kunos stupidly shit the bed on this for some reason, so you'll have to use something like Antimicro to map certain functions to the d-pad for example etc.
If you want one you can download Blender for free. Great playlist on how to use blender as a video editor here.
Run the recorded ShadowPlay file through handbrake, it stabilizes the frame rate and the audio will be re-synced. I have to do this for all of my ShadowPlay recorded gameplay when I want to use it with Premiere otherwise the audio drifts out of sync unpredictably.

Watch Amazon, the price has been all over the place the last 3 months or so. NewEgg usually follows what Amazon does. got mine for $205 back in september, but i've seen it hit $190 since.
Just put this in your assettocorsa\content\cars\ferrari_f40\sfx folder and allow to replace everything and it should work. The timing on the blowoff valve is a bit iffy though.
When i done the lap it felt great, had a sleep and tried it again and it was awful haha i dunno how i got that time with that set, must have been in the zone. This is my new set if you want to give it a go, i tried to stabilize the rear through the fast uphill chicane.
What you sacrifice in longitudinal grip you gain in lateral grip, i find it is worth it for a track with so many tight corners. Your throttle is actually pretty much bang on, you just aren't being agressive enough through the corners. Here is a vid i recently did of a 1:36.759 lap. I use the same lines as you and the throttle is almost identical the only real difference is entry speed. Here is my current set, it uses 30/30 aero and low pressures, if you hit bumps in the teack just raise the front suspension by two clicks.
Just tried it. I can't figure out how to connect it though. I normally use DashMeter Pro on my phone but I'm trying to use it on my Surface Pro 2. Not sure what IP it wants. Any tips?
edit: Nevermind trying Andy instead.
If u get a foldable compact wheel and pedal stand like I did, get a sturdy one. My first one was a Next Level Racing foldable stand (I incorrectly figured the modularity would be a good long term investment) and a few days ago the welding ripped apart- not to mention it was wobbly as hell. I replaced it with a GT Omega stand, and its night and day better. So so so much better. Sturdy as a rock and built like a tank. Highly recommended
Buy a cheap joystick and use double sided tape and what have you to secure it in place.
I use this one and it works for DR2 and AC:
https://www.amazon.ca/ThrustMaster-2960623-Usb-Joystick/dp/B0002EAA36
You can get some "stoppers" for pretty cheap on Amazon. Not sure if they are available outside or Germany though. I use them on carpet and it works very good (even with hard brake pedals). Link : https://www.amazon.de/dp/B081RRW1Z6/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_HwCdGbZKWS18Q
Get Touch Racer app, it enables you to use your phones accelerometer as steering wheel. It's not as awesome as a good steering wheel but it's way better than a joystick.
App link (Android) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.thelv.joy
I see a Fanatec wheel, so a monitor stand should be within your budget.
However, I also struggled between desktop and racing usage. My solution was to get a monitor arm. With those you can position your monitor very freely, and they aren't too expensive. Typically they are attached to a Vesa mount.
Sorry for not answering your question but I'd strongly advise Smoothtrack for headtracking.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.epaga.smoothtrack
It's exactly the same wheel base but you get the TP3A pedals instead of the 2 pedal set that you got with yours. Not a major upgrade imo.
It is the classic Xbox 360 wireless wheel from Microsoft. It is an aged wheel so I don’t expect it to have an exiting force feedback, but it is annoying to don’t even feel with vibrations when I ride on a curb while in other games on my pc it does have a feedback. Here is the link I found on amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Xbox-360-Wireless-Wheel/dp/B00128WLGK
Yes sir. Here
https://www.amazon.com/Inateck-Superspeed-Ports-PCI-Expansion/dp/B00B6ZCNGM
That is the one Oculus recommend, I use it myself with two sensors on the expansion card, and an additional sensor and my headset USB cord by USB 2.0. No issues :)
You sure can mate. Do you have a PCIE 3.0 on your motherboard? You'll need it for that expansion card. That being said, if you're only going to be using the rift for racing it should be possible to run a sensor and the headset on USB 2 anyway. I did to begin with when I first got my rift, but your results may vary depending on your mobo
Make sure to squashball that brake pedal, for better feel. it improved my laptimes a lot.
Also for the clutch, when i had the DFGT setup, i used a USB Pedal for a clutch. It looks crappy but it did the job really well!
If you end up buying one, and need help setting it up for assetto corsa, then PM me.
Next step is a wheel with a good base. I mean, G920 is like 200-250€. Next clever step is to try some base with some good wheel. 300-500€
[Thrustmaster T500 RS] https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thrustmaster-T500-Force-Wheel-Feedback/dp/B004GNG2MW?th=1
And you can find some fanatec between that prices...but I think best wheel quality/price is the Fanatec Clubsport if you dont think about Open Sim Wheel.
Hope it helps you!
£570 each.
They were on offer, but have gone back up now: https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-BL3201PT-Designer-Adjustment-Animation/dp/B00P8UFBA6/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1492029430&sr=8-1&keywords=benq+bl3201&linkCode=ll1&tag=httpwwwbrue0a-21&linkId=30ef4910c14f6c5eeb932bafcd635e64

Did you get an original power adapter?
I ran into a similar problem with the wheel seemed a little bit slow especially when you started up and FFB did indeed felt weaker. I found out that it was due to the power adapter because I use my gaming laptop charger (it at least went beyond the required voltage and amperage and it fitted; I'm no EET....don't scorn me!!) because I forgot it at my parents house when I showed case it with my Oculus Rift to friend and family. Didn't know what the problem was until I went back the next time and got it back and it came back alive strong making lots of noise like it use to.
Not sure if that's your problem in particular but make sure you have an original power adapter just to be safe: https://www.amazon.com/Original-Logitech-Power-Adapter-Racing/dp/B00742YOEU
I've just "bought" it and can access it through the Kindle Cloud Reader thing (read.amazon.co.uk)

pps: thanks for free stuff... I like free stuff :)
I'm assuming he has the h-shifter made specifically for the g29/g920. It's good, it works just fine although it feels very toyish. I'm eventually going to upgrade to the thrustmaster th8a shifter as it's not crazy expensive and word is it's among the best
I play ETS2 as well (picked it up during the Steam Winter Sale last year). It's a different experience for sure. I've delivered maybe a dozen loads so far? I put a TrackIR5 on my christmas list, and am hoping that makes it a little more enjoyable and makes the looking-around not so tedious.
:)
but that one doesn't include the trackclip pro (so I think just the regular trackclip, where you have to clip it onto a cap and wear the cap while using trackir). I have the trackclip pro, but don't use it – since buying proper speakers, I have stopped wearing headphones, and there is a noticeable weight and cable of the clip pro on one side of the headset.
The regular track clip is much more comfortable and unobtrusive to me, while being just as accurate
When I had my DFGT, I used this as a cheap alternative. It's a button so there's no analog, but it still makes you use your left foot so it kind of has some resemblance
I have not personally used many others, so I cannot say how it stacks up, but I really like my Thrustmaster t500s. Here is a link on Amazon.
I only use it for Assetto Corsa. I find the force feedback to be excellent, and the pedals feel great as well.
The one negative is that their web site and software is confusing as to what to download in order to get it to run best. I ended up using the third party utility "XPadder", for example, to map my wheel buttons to key strokes, because I couldn't figure out how to do that with their software. This is not so much a fault of their software, as it is their web site and documentation, where one can be totally clueless as to what to download and install.
I really like the paddle style shifting, but I also recommend their shifter as a nice add on, if you like driving a manual once in a while.
Plenty people still use a DFGT, in logitech and amazon websites it says it also works with PC, check in the product description. I don't know where you are from, but here is a link to amazon uk http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Driving-Force-Steering-Wheel/dp/B001IWR9JY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1434545151&sr=8-1&keywords=dfgt
You can also search on youtube assetto corsa dfgt.
Btw, if the prices are similar between dfgt and g27, consider which is one more worth. The G27 has a manual shifter and clutch, if you are interested in driving those type of cars. DFGT shifter is only sequential (up/down).

This game is based on extremely basic physics fundamentals that I knew I loved, from the moment I had this game set up with a wheel. Initially, I tried with the 360 controller on the default settings; This lead to a ridiculous show of lock to lock steering, making the car easy to upset and impossible to save.
Car set ups are easily downloadable from race department. There is no comprehensive database that can be installed with a single download. Each car/track combo is individual, and may not fit your style of driving.
I highly recommend getting into the basic tuning, as I found a lot of enjoyment learning which settings affect which parts of the turn that oversteer and understeer are undermining your corner.
The quality of content speaks for itself. The feeling of throwing a car around is incredibly authentic. Buy this game if you have an undying love for the sheer pleasure of DRIVING.
Things not to expect:
Good NETCODE for multiplayer collisions and close racing
A career with any kind of soul
AI from 2014
A large list of cars comparable to project cars or GT
Porsche
Night tracks, rain or any special effects like this.
Skill trees
Remember that it is only with complexity, that we can achieve diversity, choice and ultimately, whatever it is that absolutely has to be in "YOUR" racing simulator.
YOUR customizable HUD YOUR favourite cars and tracks YOUR view on how the car should grip, turn and brake
Ultimately, this is a true fanboy's dream. Accurate physics, a wealth of mods, a mature community, well developed cars, laser scanned tracks, and all run by an indie team. I would love to welcome you to this community, but I'm almost sure that the quality of this simulator and the frustration induced by a controller will get you to splurge on a wheel
