I installed an app called rounded corner: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thsoft.rounded.corner
My settings are size 40 and rounded over nav and status bars. I hid the nav bar and use the Fluid Gestures app but I'll see what I like once I update to Android Q.
1) depends on which MP3 player, but generally, no. Audio via headphone jack is fine for normal listening, but buy a usb-c dac and plug in high end headphones there if you're that kinda guy.
2) Definitely the black one. The screen is amoled, when it's showing black or off(same thing), the screen melts visually into the bezels. the black bezels also let you seamlessly do the curved screen corner stuff, making phones feel somewhat nicer. Getting an amoled phone with white screen bezels is like buying a ferrari to tow a trailer.
I wish there’s an app (like this android app Rounded Corner) that makes corner of my screen round just a tad bit. 😂 it’s weird seeing windows have rounded corner but when I go to full screen, bam! back to sharp corner.
I've got it on my phone as well. Interestingly I use a "Rounded Corner" app (this one), and the discoloration is in a circular shape at the corners, suggesting that black screens avoid this issue. Really surprising since it's an LCD.
i use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thsoft.rounded.corner (I'm on mobile so you'll probably have to copy the link, it's called 'rounded corner'). I've used it for a few years now I think and haven't had any problems with it draininghe battery or anything.
You can use an app like this and see how you actually like it in practice. I tried it out on the Essential phone when I had it and turned it back off within a day
Personally I use this app which has the feature also https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thsoft.rounded.corner used it before I got the S9+ so when I moved over I liked the app better than the stock one. I only have stock enabled for when screen is off and the app I linked on when screen is on
Nope, doogee mix. I bought it on a whim for $200, 6gb of ram and "no bezels" so I figured I'd give it a go. I use This app for the corners
This what a resource comment on the /r/androidthemes looks like; this is for the setup mentioned in my post.
Nova Launcher: 5 (width) x 7 (height)
Wallpaper from Plastexo Wallpaper App: http://imgur.com/3Rrgws8
Widget: custom Zooper widget; for sake of demonstration use Candy Zooper
Icons: Delta Icon Pack
I'm using Rounded Corner. I used Cornerfly before, but every time I unlocked my screen, it moved the corners from under the status bar to above it, and that was irksome for me. It doesn't seem to do that with this one.
To me, it looks more pleasant. I using an app call "Rounded Corner" for my Xiaomi phone, it not just make the corner rounded but also can add decoration image to the corner, change the corner decoration color to match your phone color.
Imgur Screenshots This looks even better if you have a white pixel phone.
I've been looking for this setup's resources forever. Now I finally get to make it the way I intended to use it. Hope y'all like it. Please install the following in the order listed below (if you don't already know how to):

Announcements:
Official dark version will be released sometime later this month if I can properly separate the mountain background elements and repaint everything. DELAYED: I have to switch back to my old phone. The current one's gps is pretty bad so it'll take a bit of time before I get back into this.
updated the notification badges so it fits with the theme, be sure to redownload the nova backup or fix the badges; the previous badge style was from a kecil theme I was working on
I use Rounded Corners. It's pretty lightweight and offers edge lighting.
I found the solution. I have installed Global Firmware 7.1
Basically every phone comes with a version of the phone with Chinese ROM 7.1.1 and when connected to a WiFi network, the ROM 8.0.0 is automatically updated and installed. Then the bootloader is locked.
There are 2 versions of the phone software: Chinese (CN) and Taiwanese (WW - WorldWide), is international. The latter has the availability of the correct localization and all Google services. In the Chinese rom, all this is missing, as well as most pre-installed software in their native language.
Therefore, when you turn on your phone for the first time, you do not need to turn on WiFi, then go to the "System Update" tab, which is in the phone settings and see the software version of the phone. In most cases comes with 7.1.1. If you have this ROM, to switch to the International version, do the following:
Reset to the factory settings in the "Settings" menu.
Check the phone's firmware version in "Settings" - "About phone" (Mine was 00CN_1_35H)
Download the latest firmware - for those who want to stay on Android 7.1, a link to the firmware is here - https://cloud.mail.ru/public/4fi8/qo46joNsK
For those wishing to stay on Android 8.0, a link to the firmware is here - https://cloud.mail.ru/public/Lnv6/DNnUVcL6u
I changed the name to SS2-136F-0-00CN-B03-update.zip
If you do not rename it correctly, it's okay. The phone simply does not see the firmware and it will be possible to rename it again.
Transfer the renamed file to the root of the phone.
Open the dialer dial * # * # 874 # * # * if everything was done correctly, then the firmware and the "update" button will be displayed. All after this procedure your phone will have a Global ROM with the version you selected a little earlier. Updates by air will work. The main difference in firmware, in addition to Google services and normal translation, is the rounded edges near the screen. This "feature" is available only for CN firmware. In the global will have to use a patch, which would "round off" the upper edges. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thsoft.rounded.corner
If you have accidentally turned on WiFi and your smartphone was updated, you will need keys to unlock the bootloader. They are bought for $6 from a guy on XDA. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76412178&postcount=287
this one doesn't need rooting I used it on my old S6
Looks like this app doesn't require accessibility.
I think it's possible. There are some apps in the Play Store that round corners. I have three linked below, but you can search for something like "round corners" in the Play Store and see if you find what you like.
Have a great day!
Use Round screen corner app.

I believe it was this one.
With Galaxy S8 or G6, rounded corners are not only make the corner look pleasant but also reduce the risk of display damage when the phone is dropped.
I installed an app call Rounded Corner for corner decoration purpose. It can make the corner rounded or add some decoration image to the corner . You may want give it a look.
