There's an app for saving exact locations called what3words that I think more people should use. They basically put a grid of 10 foot squares across the whole planet and each square has a unique address. Very useful for coordinating an exact meetup spot or saving your parking space.
Here's the Android link since that's what I'm on: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.what3words.android
E inutila. Am testat-o in grupul nostru, unul langa altul. S-au trimis mesajele cam dupa 1 ora. Ii dau uninstall.
Recomand what3words. E destul de utila.
You could try What3Words to the door and then Path Guide for the indoors.
I have it all automated like everything in my life.
Path Guide recently went downhill but there's now plenty of other indoor navigation apps to explore.
>what3words A very useful location app. Each 3M² is assigned a 3 word code. This can be shared with anyone so they know your exact location. Useful for if you are lost and don't know how to describe your location.
There are some major issues with the functionality of the concept. Things like needing to use words that native speakers haven't heard of causing a lot of confusion during emergency situations, or similar sounding words representing wildly different locations.
Where there is cell reception this is an excellent option for communication of location. I know it involves some learning and effort but maybe an interest in maps would help motivate.

I like what 3 words. They assigned 3 words to grids for the whole planet and is super accurate and a great app. The devs are even trying to get emergency services to use it.
Don't assume that this is me planing your failure but has a precaution I think you and a couple of ICE friends should download this app .

It's a way to give your location anywhere within a 3m (10') radius.
That is precisely what what3words (for Android) (iOS version) was designed for. I have read the service is already actively used at actual emergency response facilities.
I'd reccomend the what3words app to go with point 6.
I mean it's a good idea to always have this. It splits up the country into 3ftx3ft grids and gives them 3 words. Emergency services take this like an address.

I'll now need to be mindful of what colors I use in drawings on screenshots.
For your unique problem, might I suggest what3words? It converts an exact location to three dictionary words so there's no need for circles on screenshots or giving out vague addresses.
You guys should check out what3words.
It's a global map broken down into 3m x 3m grids and assigns each block 3 words. So if there's an area with no address anywhere on earth, just list it by what 3 words it has. It also can be used to easily get and share lat/long.
Then you can find anything by words in the app.
Incredible for addressing the world that doesn't have a good addressing system, or any addressing system at all.
They even have a whole part dedicated to Deliver, Post & E-Commerce

I use this a lot when trying to get friends to find spots or specific areas of something, be it in a section of a building, or maybe in a large area where the specified address isn't enough info.
Note: I had someone DM me asking about specifics on something with this. I don't have any affiliation with what3words, but they do have a FAQ and support page! https://support.what3words.com/hc/en-us
How many people aren't aware you can send location as an option in a text message? Or use an app like what3words.

It also literally exists as an app you can use without a data connection or trying to navigate in a mobile browser.
what 3 words, might be good. It's worth a look anyway for attaching and sharing photos and/with locations.
What3words could be the exact thing you need.
