Sweat band/arm band? amazon link good excuse: I have a tattoo and it’s against company policy to show it during sessions. Also- pretty uncool company. Much of ABA is very non judgemental regarding lifestyle choices of whatever kind.
Edit: just saw a sweat band might not work. Look into under armor heat gear arm sleeve like basketball players wear. Breathable.
I agree. Everyone has a right to express themselves. Tricky subject, though, and a difficult lesson to teach. I think context is hugely important because so much of what makes a behavior "inappropriate" is where/when it's done and who is around to see it. Burp, fart and scratch to your heart's delight in the privacy of your own bathroom, just not in front of your boss.

This book does an excellent job of explaining the basics of ABA in understandable terms. It’s meant for parents from the perspective of a parent. It’s great!

I've only been in ABA for ~6 months but I've been reading Understanding ABA for Parents and Professionals by Albert Kearny to get a better understanding of the principles. It's meant for parents and laymen who are new to ABA and I've found it really informative.

I would love any sensory processing books you can recommend!
My sister installed a saucer swing similar to this one in her dining room for my autistic niece. It holds a lot of weight (I, a full grown woman, was able to sit on it) as long as you install it into a sturdy part of the ceiling.
I'm sure you've also investigated small, indoor trampolines. A client of mine had one like this that held both my weight and his while jumping. Hope this stuff helps you build an awesome room for your son! Also, you're amazing for doing such an incredible thing for him :)
(p.s. i am only including weight limit information in the hopes that you can use these as your son grows/to ensure that he will be safe using them!)
Verbal Beginnings has a free virtual CEU event this Wednesday discussing Trauma-Informed ABA! You can find out more info and register here.
Self-management is a good direction, and thinking about services as coaching.
Sarafino has a good book on self-management strategies. Something we practitioners sometimes neglect to do: share his progress with him, and even show him the graphs. Graphical feedback (presuming his goals are meaningful to him) can be helpful.
Money is an appropriate reinforcer for an adult, although not always possible for families. I would avoid using access to a social function because, as you identified, it's not really appropriate to withhold (for a few reasons).
I'm selling it on amazon at 18.99 But here in my own store, I'm selling it at 17.99 and also 15% off so I think I'm giving the best deals from my personal store. What do you think?
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act includes legislation providing paid time off for certain eligible employees. This starts on April 2nd.
This Webinar should help clarify how this impacts ABA businesses. It is free! It is California-based, so some things they go over may be CA specific. I'm not sure though, just thought I would share this resource.

Amazon has a bunch of sleeves...its a matter of finding the one that will cover it. Maybe this one
Do you have a picture of that tattoo? To see the size?
Might one of these be helpful? If not, its a $6 investment.
Maybe a spray bottle with super fine mist? Kid can get the need out but not soak things?
I believe the do better collective has some CEUs on ODD.
is a good book.
I would also look into research by Jeffery Danforth. A good reference is Parent Training for Families of Children with Comorbid ADHD and ODD, 2006.
2 weeks to a month should be enough time for them to figure out how to reconfigure schedules.
Side note: Has your company provided you with assaultive behavior management training? The two companies I have worked for both made sure to have all BTs undergo this training for liability reasons. A part of this training is for the supervisors to provide safety equipment when necessary. If your client is leaving bruises on your arms it seems like you need Kevlar sleeves. You can either buy these off Amazon out of pocket or ask your supervisors to provide them. I would also start documenting how many bruises you are going into session with and coming out of session with. And I would email your BCBA and CC the clinical care director/coordinator about the bruising as well because your safety and health matters. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KHP988M/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_N9CGPGP6DZWTJMAQBBE7 (these are not the only options just an idea of what to look for, I also don't know how to hyperlink so sorry about that).
Everyone talking about “sleeves” is talking about Kevlar sleeves. They don’t stop the bruising but reduce the likelihood of breaking the skin. For example, these

Supervision: mentoring and leadership. No one is a great supervisor when they first start and you have to be great to lead a good team and keep people on board and from burning out. RBTs have it rough sometimes and being able to lead effectively is so important to keep morale high.
Tyra Sellers and Linda LeBlanc are great on the topic and they are at the Michigan Autism Conference (MAC) often that’s usually in Octoberish. They also authored the book below along with a third, Shahla Ali’i.

I recommend looking into the Early Start Denver Model. They have an amazing parent friendly book. The beginning goals focus on early social engagement that is the foundation for communication and learning. They are also developmentally appropriate for an 18 month old.

It’s sad that you have to go through this nonsense.
This needs to be reported to your Regional. If they disagree then report the company including those you’re in conflict with to the BACB.
There are clear and see through mouth masks available. However, if your supervisor and management as a whole does not care about your health and safety along with the families’ irrespective of what they think then opting to go to another company is necessary. It will be hard to lose a client but sometimes one has to.
There are Behavior Technician/Therapist telehealth jobs available too.

I also use this book To help teach my parents and team About ABA in layman’s terms
Hope this helps!
I've been in a similar situation and I use Anti-Fog Spray (Amazon Link).

Even pre-COVID, I had to wear face shields/masks for certain clients (high-frequency spitting, etc.).
The spray works well but there's a trick to using it - you need to let it dry a little bit, and when you wipe the shield clean, make sure you're not wiping it so thoroughly you remove the treatment. The spray works for at least a few hours, though sometimes I can go a few days without re-applying, which is pretty cool. As an added bonus, if you live in a humid environment like Florida, you can walk inside/outside without becoming temporarily blinded!
I just use the big black and red tote from Trader Joe’s or I think Whole Foods has one too. It’s meant for groceries but I like how sturdy it feels and that it has a zipper lol. On amazon I think it’s more expensive than what I paid for in the store

Are you taking about wrist watches or a stopwatch you can wear around your neck?
If wrist watches I have some recommendations (I’m into wristwatches myself so sorry if I get a bit too excited). What is your budget?
I like to wear chronograph watches while I’m working directly with clients. That way I can start timing something right from my wrist and stop it with the same ease. All of our RBTs have tablets for data entry but a lot of the time (especially during bx) I find this to be faster.
Anyway depending on what you would like to spend there are a few options.
If you want a digital watch I would recommend any of the Casio G-Shocks. They are rugged, will take a beating and have a stopwatch function, most of them with lap/split time functions. They come in a huge range of both prices and features but they’re all great.
If analogue is your style (mine is) then I have a few recommendations. I was wearing the Timex Expedition Field Chronograph for a while. It’s a great watch for the price (about $40 or so) but it has a brass case and will get dented, as well as having a more scratch prone crystal. Currently I wear a Citizen Avion Chronograph , which is stainless steel and solar powered (so you don’t have to fiddle with a battery change every two years). It’s a bit pricey if you’re not into watches, about $140, and although it has a stainless steel case it’s crystal is not as scratch resistant as more expensive watches will be. I also sometimes wear a Seiko SSC031 which also has a chronograph but is a bit pricey (it’s a dive watch).
Of course you don’t need any of those. A cheap $10 watch or a $5 stopwatch will do the trick. I just like watches.
My company uses these and attaches them together with a carabiner clip that you clip on wherever:
