Mushroom hunter here. The vast majority of the mushroom lives as a network of mycelium under the ground. Pulling a mushroom up as opposed to cutting it will have no effect on whether or not there will be more next year.

Edit: Having said that, it is considered to be better form to cut the mushroom at the base. Cutting it won’t disturb the ground as much and will keep your haul a lot cleaner. It is also advisable to get a mushroom knife with a brush to “field clean” your mushrooms before you put them in your basket.

You may want to wean an animal quicker because, like the majority of humans, animals stop producing the enzyme that allows them to digest milk at a certain point in development - usually the point at which they're weaned. Some calves try to nurse after this point, which results in vomiting, diarrhea, etc.

This happens with a lot of animal species. Kittens will often nurse until the mother cat is either removed from the litter or she's dressed in a hilarious little suit that prevents nursing. If you thought giving a cat a pill was fun, try putting a little jumpsuit on one.

Never fully rely on this, at least for now. That's my favorite machine (I went through many trying to find one that didn't break easily or was hell to clean). I used hard candy in them to make cotton candy. Just heat the machine up, turn it off, drop in two pieces of candy, turn it on, and go. Spinning onto a cone takes practice. The lychee candies found at Asian stores are my favorite. You can also use sugar free candy if you really want low cal but the floss comes out less fluffy and more crystalized/crunchy still not bad though. Just don't use anything with a milk base like worthers. Comes out tasting burnt. If they are clear like a jolly rancher you are safe.
