I got the lanterns from a shop called The Range £25.99 and I got some battery operated mirco led fairy lights from a local garden centre for £2.99 for 80 bulb ones. Then stuck the battery packs on the inside top to hide them and just chucked the lights in so they were all messy. I used two Led fairy light sets per lantern. You can get the lights on amazon too.

The "trellis" is actually a a large accordion peg rack which I thrifted but you can find them online! I hung these pots with string I had around the house. They are self watering but I found that part to overwater the herbs so I just water them like normal

What a great view! Also, I really love the idea of the frame TV but I feel like that console underneath ruins the illusion because it’s such a “TV” setup. A little cable management molding and you could ditch the console for an even cleaner look.
It’s a wedge reading pillow with a pocket on the side perfect for our tv remote! Honestly, the best purchase for the room because our individual reading pillows from college were getting old and gross. For anyone curious, they’re actually designed to be used as computer speakers. I had a pair for that purpose and they sounded pretty amazing for the size and form factor when paired with the included sub. They’d certainly sound much better than TV speakers in this setting.

I live in a 256 sq ft "micro studio" with a 60 lb labradoodle and a King size bed. I have a high bed that I throw most of my stuff under, I have this to store all my clothes (the out of season ones go under the bed). I have bike "parking", and leave half my ski gear at my bf's house in Canada (I live in Seattle; though I could fit it in the apartment :P). I have this table. It's honestly surprisingly roomy. I wouldn't say it's "spacious", but I don't get claustrophobic.
I also work about a 20 min walk away and work until 7-8 PM, and live in one of the liveliest neighborhoods. I love it! I'm also a bit more "simple" than most in terms of material objects.

Sorry to hear about your dog, so hard to lose a pet. As for keeping my place clean, I swiffer and sweep once a week (more if needed) and use a stick vac on area rugs. For furniture and my duvet covers I use this thing to keep everything clear of cat hair. I’ve never not had a cat during my life and I’ve never found anything (including vacuums, rollers etc.) that works as well as this thing does in picking up pet hair. Even works on clothes.

Manhattan Comfort. I bought it on Amazon for a very reasonable price after sending one back to Houzz. It still smells like glue from the manufacturing process and the sticker on the front is peeling a little on one side but for the price those aren't deal breakers for me.

That actually answers my question, and upon closer inspection I see that I was mistaken. It appears you have the taskbar autohide on your computer and without scrutinizing I thought you were running the GNOME desktop on a GNU+Linux system. I see now it's just the Spotify icon, title and buttons for the window.
I know this isnt the place for this topic, but you openly showed us your home and I have to mention it! The cage and the "fish tank" are too small for the animals. Especially the fishes! There needs to be at least one none-transparent side of the aquarium and hiding spots (plants/ stones)! I guess (hope) you let the rats play around in your appartment every now and then, but even though they really need more space! I dont want to offend you...but this situation isnt okay imo. Someone is going to point out that the photos aren’t all straight, and I just wanna tell you that I tried my hardest and I can’t try anymore.
Someone else is going to point out that my bed really shouldn’t be on the floor, and trust me, I know. It’s on my list for the next time I actually have some cash to spare. If someone could suggest a platform bed that’s less than $200, I’d be really grateful!
Other than those two things, I’m open to suggestions and criticism.
Some of my favorite aspects of the room are
- The bookshelf behind the bed. It’s usually upright, and my dad made it for me about a decade ago. It’s moved with me to four different states and multiple houses. I love it.
- The other bookshelf! I needed more space for my books, so I bought this one on Amazon for only $22.
- All of the art. I’ve gathered it over many, many years and finally feel like I have a decent collection. The Doctor from Doctor Who as a cat in space might be my favorite though.
- The tapestry behind the TV. It looks a little awkward in that spot because the wall isn’t big enough but I love it regardless. I got it on Society6 here.

Not OP but I have been dying to tell people about these drill bit brush heads I bought to clean my bath/shower. They are incredible! I use them to clean everything now! Counter tops, stove/oven, fridge, etc.

Both the poufs and the rug are from Amazon! I saw both of them on display in a store, and searched for the manufacturer online and found them selling for cheaper elsewhere (retail markup is killer).
The poufs come unstuffed, which saves on shipping. We used old blankets and towels to stuff them to make them firm, but you can use pillows or fluff if you want them softer.

Get what you're saying it's hard when you have stuff but a small space.
If you're not using the piano that much I'd push it in the corner where the guitar is. Could then put a corner ladder shelf like this in the opposite corner left of the piano and put all the espresso stuff there and get rid of the espresso bar. If you need a little table for the espresso machine you could put it next to it, maybe get something with wheels to to move out of the room when you're dining there.
At that point you could even turn your dining table 90 degrees might look better and more room to walk around it.

It's this one I found on Amazon and I totally love it. Not the best by any measure other than it raises and lowers and was pretty straightforward to assemble. I pace a lot when I'm thinking and having a standing desk works well for that. If you haven't checked out standing desk discussions over at r/StandingDesk I encourage it because folks over there know quite a bit more than I do.

I have the same west elm coffee table. They are notorious for the left side popping up, it will happen like 6 months after purchasing the table, all 4 other people I know who own that table have had the same problem. The floor model in the west elm does too. There is a pretty simple way to fix it, on Amazon you can buy these magnets. It’s the only one I found that actually fixed it. You’ll thank me later.

I needed 3' wide shelves, so I went with these from Amazon. I do not recommend them though...I think LACK shelves might hold up better.
We had to reinforce the bottom 2 record shelves with L brackets. The rest don't droop, thankfully.

It’s small, but it’s sturdy and a really nice finish. Can’t beat the price, though. The little door slides to one side or the other, which is awesome too. There’s one left in stock on Amazon, so hurry!

I just bought a much longer one off Amazon a few weeks ago but they sell them in all sizes including this size and all colors. Looks like exactly the same brand. Shipping said it would take up to like 3-4 weeks but I got it in less than a week.
