And why would you post it in AnimalPorn?
Looks like its from this place: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g297924-d942775-Reviews-Tiger_Temple_Thailand_Tour-Kanchanaburi_Kanchanaburi_Province.html
This is the place.
The guide my photography class had told us about the crocodile. If i remember correctly, this croc was about 70 years old, weighed about 700kgs and had killed a whole lot of people before they captured it and put it in the reptile park

I really love the colors in this image, and the iridescence of the bird's feathers. More sizes can be found here.
Note: I took the original image and flipped it to mirror the original, which is easy to do in most image manipulation programs. Having the bird on the right just works better on a default desktop icon arrangement.
I've never seen it with my eyes, but it seems to be real, check this link and this video. video is good candidate to be submitted in /r/WTF :)
to be honest - they are extremely bizarre when you get up close with them because they are shaped more like a bar than an oval/circle

I can't answer your first question. In fact, I have heard people use it to describe being pregnant with fertilized eggs. Anyway, in English it's pronounced more like 'gra-ved.' On this page a posh British man will pronounce it for you (click 'sumbit' if he doesn't speak automatically)

I've removed your post because of a discrepancy between the stated and actual resolution of the image.
A suggestion - post this link instead -
http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/D2e5f60b/03747_icelandichorse_5120x2880.jpg
The resolution is [5120x2880]. Be sure to include [OS] in the title, and it would be a good idea to also add the source page in a comment like you did in this post. Hope that helps.
I'm not completely sure about the context. The Flickr page says:
> Eagle Take Off. Got lucky this evening. He was a beauty. This photo was taken on April 14, 2012 in California, US, using a Canon EOS 7D. Tags: San Benito County • Eagle • Canon 7D • Santa Ana Valley Rd. • Golden Eagle
InterfaceLIFT has another version apparently submitted by the same person. It has more contrast and a different description: http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details/2980/king_of_the_skies.html
> King of the Skies. Taken at Spatia Wildlife Park in Bulgaria. Two of these raptors were fighting in mid air and this one flew past me. Canon EOS 7D, Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS shot at f/5.6, 1/3200 second, ISO 640. Location: 42.500358, 23.250097
I love the detail and mood of the image. More sizes can be found here if so desired. Glad to start sharing some of my favorite pictures with Reddit.

I use Muzei and Muzei - Reddit for my wallpaper on my Android phone with /r/AnimalPorn being the only subreddit source. Between the bee and spider pics I'm becoming quite frightened once every twelve hours (the frequency at which my wallpaper changes). Great shots though.
