I posted this review to /r/angelsandairwaves:

Poet Anderson: Issue 1 was released digitally this morning. I bought it and gave it a read because I believe Delonge is onto an interesting idea that the animation sort of danced around a little too much leaving a lot to be desired. The comic is $2.99 in the ComiXology store and looks legit. Not just something slap-dash but like a real comic book. Tom's name is all over the thing and rightfully so. The artwork is pretty good and the story is well told and much more clear than the animation.

The biggest issue I had was that the speech bubbles seemed out of order or at least unclear as to how they we're supposed to be read. It should be noted that I am not a comic book reader AT ALL. It was about a 10 minute read for me and, like I said, it was well told with flashback, etc. The only thing is: I am not sure how much more I care to learn about the world so we will have to see what Delonge and co. have in store story-wise.

It's nice to see some products finally trickle out from Tom with all this drama coming out. I am not necessarily on his side of the blink argument, but I can 100% get behind him wanting to create other things now that he REALLY has the time and I wish him the best. The animation for Poet Anderson was weak in the story department but well executed. This comic was well executed and had a strong story. Let's hope Delonge and ToTheStars have more tricks like these up their sleeves.

Don't know why people are giving you such lowball numbers on that album lol. Blink LPs usually go for a pretty penny on eBay since all the reissues are very limited pressings. Check discogs as well to give you a ballpark estimate. Number 2, in the article you posted personally it states that Skate Punk moved from Hardcore Punk, to Pop Punk to the beginnings of Ska. So maybe you should reread what you posted. I looked here and the Wiki, I didn't find anything, but I also didn't look for anything in interviews. I did find on I'm Lost Without You this. Which Travis says the keyboards remind him of Pink Floyd or Failure. But I only looked on the Self-titled album, I didn't check the other ones.

Save yourself $160 and get a Joyo AC Tone. Pop that in your signal chain last before your current amp. It's a modeled after the Vox AC-30 which Tom uses now.

Yeah, it's a cheap box but they sound awesome! I have the California Sound (models a Mesa Boogie) and American Sound (models a Fender) and I love them. You can also use it directly in the PA to play ampless or plug direct in to your audio interface and record ampless.

Fantastic for price and quality. Also won't ruin your vinyl, so definitely a good thing. Shitty styluses and players will put a lot of wear on your records.

Bad thing is you do need a set of speakers with it.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way beyond owning 2 sets. As an early-30something that wants to keep the hearing I have, I bring them to every concert I go to even if I don't always need them for every venue.

What's awesome about them is that they reduce volume without excessive muffling or dropping certain ranges. I feel like I get the full sound just with the volume cut down. They also fit nicely so I don't need to worry about them coming out on their own.

$5.54 Used shipped. Rip it to your iTunes then you'll have a physical disc and digital copies for way less. Either that or find it online. It's all over the place.

Here's one that's just slightly over what you paid. It's modeled after the Technics 1200 series. The built in pre-amp could be better, but it's one of the better "inexpensive" tables out there. Especially one where the core is plastic-based. There's room to customize and modify on it, which is a plus.

I was going to say this too, I own the epiphone one and it suits me fine. If you're a collector I can understand.

/r/vinyl realy helped me out. I've grown my collection to about 70 lp's look at an audio tecnica turntable on amazon. Plays great. Not to fancy just something to start with.

Sound isn't hugely better. It's more of owning a physical copy of the record and checking out the awesome gatefolds that got me in to owning them. My favorites I'll frame around the house because it's somthing I love.

Edit: this is what I have. No need to drop a shit ton of money unless you're an audiophile. Save it to buy more awesome records!

this is what I have. Over a year no problems. Some people recommend changing the needle for a better one as higher quality one cause less ware and tare, also they can output better sound.
