Weeeeeeell I guess that does lend a bit of credit to the leaks
Can't stress how pleased I am to see Inca and Polynesia all but confirmed (Vesuvius too?)
It'll be good to ditch the Natural Disasters mod - no discredit intended to the creator, but without any supporting graphics it was literally just "read a list of the effects when there's a natural disaster and hope it doesn't hurt anything you built." Which is a shame, but nonetheless, I'm happy to move on.
Side note: did the dam REALLY need to be an entire district? Couldn't it have been a building within an aqueduct district next to a river? I feel like with wonders and districts, there's already a lot of free tiles being used up, and often find I have next to no space for farms when planning out cities. Don't think this is going to make it any easier, and I hate seeing tiles "disappear" to districts that provide very little
Greenmangaming has it for 35% off, you can get an additional 20% off that price with a voucher if you have/make an account. I doubt there is a lower price from a legit non grey market source.
You're making me feel old.
The thing with Quayle was that he was competent at precisely nothing, every time he opened his mouth something breathtakingly stupid came out, and for four terrifying years he was one heartbeat away from the Oval Office.
Not Zulu-specific, but you could try visiting mynoise.net, which has amazing sounds and recorded tracks by an audio engineer. They have a vocal category of recordings your son might enjoy -- Tibetan choir, Huu and Gregorian chants, other vocal+light instrumental recordings and many others. You can also edit, mix, and combine them yourself as well with easy controls.
You might need to make a small donation to unlock all of these, but you might find other great uses for the huge list of tracks and categories - I've been using lots of them for work, relaxation, and background audio entertainment for years. Natural sounds, landscape sounds, creative mixes, etc.
Sorry, it’s 2, 3 is corporation. You either had whales somewhere else and didn’t notice it (I think being suzerain of a city state that has one counts as long as you have at least one in your empire) or it was a bug.
It’s explained in the patch notes here. https://civilization.com/news/entries/civilization-vi-vietnam-kublai-khan-pack-available-now/
They announced months ago Ethiopia is the civ. There’s a new game mode called Secret Societies, a new district. And two new buildings. We’re also getting new personas for Teddy and Catherine de Medici.
On the Epic store the game only lists Windows support. https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/sid-meiers-civilization-vi/home
Is this the store you mean ? It’s £22? link to gmg gs dlc
Easy fix would be to navigate to this location:
From steam install location: …/Steam/steamapps/common/Sid Meiers Civilization VI/Base/Assets/UI/Fonts
Modify the Civ6_FontStyles_EFIGS.xml file. You can also add your own fonts that you can browse from <strong><em>Google Fonts</em></strong>!

<strong><em>Image (Using Microsoft VS Code)</em></strong>

Just by changing the FontSize="XX" numbers from the lower values you desire.. a few restarts may be necessary until you find what you are looking for.
Also, don't forget to make a backup of the original in case you mess something up, but if you decide not to, you can always verify files using the game properties in the steam library.
I am a civ homer, but part of what Civ is built around is being able to replay history your own way with famous civilizations. I could see it in a cool mod, but I am not sure civ will ever change to something like that.
You might want to keep your eye out on the game Humankind. Supposed to be the challenger to civ in 4X games. Essentially each "era" you choose parts of other civs to form your own unique one.
There was nothing in the release notes about that (https://civilization.com/news/entries/civilization-vi-april-2021-game-update-available-now/). So did they accidentally change it to trebuchets or did they forget to note the change and update the text?
That's so bad. I've ordered it and tried several times to check why the DLC in the game, until finally found this discussion to see it's for all Mac users. When on their official page it's says available for all platforms https://civilization.com/news/entries/introducing-the-civilization-vi-new-frontier-pass-first-dlc-launches-may-21-2020/ . Not cool, not cool
here Choose pc digital, platinum edition, 2k store n it’s $47.99 plus tax in the US. I bought it yesterday cuz it’s a pretty awesome deal. Includes 6 dlc n 2 expansions plus the base game obvi.
It does effect vanilla and R&F. If you look at the patch notes, anything that says [ALL RULESETS ON PC] effects them too - https://civilization.com/news/entries/civilization-vi-gathering-storm-june-2019-update-available-now/
That reminds me of The Radium Girls. I don’t think I’ve ever taken so long to finish reading a book because I could only stomach reading a little at a time.
FYI this is on sale for $22 on amazon at the moment.
