My interpretation is that there are multiple meanings here. In the line before they are chasing their tails, meaning running around in circles and not getting anywhere. Tails on a coin also means bad luck.
Heads on a science apart. Alludes to heads as being lucky on a coin flip, being logical (science), and for reasoning out that the risk and effort to fall in love was worth it.
I think I have also read that the song is about being so focused on your work that you ignore love. So it could also be a negative that he went with his head?
I advice you not to get this. According to Amazon, it's basically a cheap recording of the June 4/5th performance last year. For the nostalgia sake, maybe. For anything else, no way.

I basically learned guitar from this book. Some songs are obviously better to play than others, but it has a good mix of difficulties. I recently mastered Now My Feet Won’t Touch The Ground and Yellow.
I think they're my favourite promos, they're beautiful in their simplicity. I love the fact they went to the effort of doing an embossed design rather than just a printed one.
The version of parachutes I have is this: https://www.discogs.com/Coldplay-Parachutes/release/2898241
Have a look at the catalogue number on yours and match it up on Discogs. It should let you know which one you have. The UK promo has a catalogue number of CHUTE001.
This was a tricky one for me to find. The more common version of the single just has Sleeping Sun, but the Australian release has Sleeping Sun and Gravity. So if you are buying from a private vendor I'd shoot off an email first to make sure it has all three tracks. Also make sure you're not buying CD2 of the 3 CD Talk box set or the remix versions, both of which also have the white covers. Super confusing.
There's also a black-cover EU release with the Talk video and making of and it has Gravity as well. Here is a copy on eBay! : D http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coldplay-Talk-Gravity-Speed-Sound-DVD-Video-5-Track-CD-Rare-/170723097465?pt=UK_CDsDVDs_CDs_CDs_GL&hash=item27bfe3bb79
http://www.online-convert.com Works fairly perfectly to convert anything to anything. Upload the flac file, choose mp3 output, make sure it's 320, and leave everything else the same. That should do it.
It's annoying to do a bunch with this, but I just open up different tabs and do multiple at the same time.
I’d also add that UATW 2.0 (live) was technically released officially by the band, but not on all platforms—it’s the Live in Leipzig version on Amazon here, which I love.
Would still love a studio recording of it, though.
Yeah, it's an unofficial biography written by Debs Wild, I think it released in about 2018 - you can find copies here >> https://www.amazon.co.uk/Life-Technicolor-Celebration-Malcolm-Croft/dp/1787391094
Here you go! By the way, I hope you have a good gapless playback player (most phones and ipods should work well) because it will sound choppy without that.
If you want to slog it out, get on Ticketmaster and you’ll need NordVPN OR ExpressVPN, and an autofiller extension on Firefox or Chrome.
I had the tickets page (for 3 of the Etihad concerts) on refresh for about 5 days during daytime hours, and saw 10-12 instances where x2 £89.95 tickets popped up on resale).
In the end, after about 5 days I managed to catch some for £175 each (originally £150) seated in section 127 at the Etihad (bottom tier really good view of the stage - and all tickets around it are £500-£700 each!
You can catch something good without having to risk buying off someone else, you just have to commit to it…
I was stuck on 67 for like two minutes but the I finally remembered The Hardest Part with over a minute left.
Thought I also had all of the "hidden" songs, AKA the Prospekt's March songs, but after I did a bit of research I found out that I forgot Postcards From Far Away. Shame on me.
Well, I'm working on writing my own album right now, I'm mostly piano driven, a lot like how Chris plays, so things like drums and electric guitar are lacking, but I'm working on it my sound cloud is https://soundcloud.com/eric-struble if you want to hear a Postcards From Far Away cover, and a bit of a song that I halfwrote with another redditor, if you want to hear. I'll be adding my own album to soundcloud as I get more written and recorded.
You can keep a wallpaper which has the Xylobands of live concerts which is very very unique to Coldplay according to me

Ya the sweepstakes is for 1 grand prize winner, 2 tickets. Apollo holds 1,500. Assume that 50%++ of the tickets will be given to celebrities, SXM employees, etc. Where do the other 500-750 tickets go?
If you live in the NYC area, you're a SiriusXM subscriber, you've set your music preferences at https://www.siriusxm.com/perks and have email marketing turned on, they usually run a separate entry for tickets only for local residents. If targeted, you'll get an email.
When U2 played Apollo for SiriusXM, they did a call-in contest for tickets on U2 Radio. Pearl Jam did the same thing for their Apollo show (before it was cancelled due to COVID). Since the Coldplay Radio station has been reactivated, maybe they will do something similar.
You won't be able to buy tickets to this show.
Here's the album! There's no album artwork but I think there are a few fan-made covers you can get from Google images if you want :)
Try here, there should be an option to either 'Stream Now' or 'Buy MP3 Album' underneath.
So there’s a company that makes an light up dock shield for the Nintendo Switch but only has 4 different kinds of designs. So there is this seller on Etsy that makes more designs for that product. You can even have one custom made, but you must contact the seller to see if he can make the design work.
So I did and he was able to do it very easily! Highly recommend it if you want some more spice to your Switch dock
Buy the CD for How You See The World No. 2, it was for charity and I don't feel comfortable directing you to somewhere that has it illegitimately. I can give you a FLAC of How You See The World No. 1 if you don't already have it, as it was on a Japanese CD which I happen to own but is quite awkward to get outside Japan unless you want to wait a month for postage.
The first version of Talk was a leak from 2005 which if I recall correctly wasn't lossless when Will sent it to the wrong email address in the first place.
thank you!! i used some clear vinyl shelves on amazon. heres the link if you ever need it!! good luck with your collection :D
Yeah I noticed that in the Amazon UK store it says that + further down it says it’s 1 disc only, but in the Amazon US store it says 2 discs
Howdy y’all. I’m keeping this post up, but I should not there is no confirmation this is the final album art. Amazon frequently sports fake cover art on various listings, and they also list pre-orders for almost any media product, even if they never release.
Still, it’s worth keeping an eye on over the next few days.
EDIT: Amazon Italy has published an unconfirmed tracklist, seen here This listing has the album at 16 songs.
They actually played A Sky Full of Stars for the closer in one of their Chicago shows.
I don't quite understand how Chris feeling undeserving of his success would translate to clenching a fist and saying it's mine. The sunrise could work as an analogy for him accepting his success, on its own, but it seems like the sunrise lyric is meant to counteract the fist clenching lyric; and I don't think the fist clenching lyric could be applicable to Chris Martin feeling undeserving of his success.
I liked the lying in the gutter part, even if I didn't fully understand it. I feel like the 'sitting with the poison takes away the pain' part, was influenced by Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning.
I've been trying to appreciate the song, and the album, for what they are, but part of me is still disappointed. If you listen to the official Coldplay lyrics as you're listening along to the album, you'll notice that Chris actually slurs and forgets some of the lyrics (unless the official Coldplay lyrics were not properly listed). The song 'Birds' also contradicts 'Don't Panic,' and it seems to go against the message of 'Up&Up.' I liked 'Amazing Day' a lot, but it bothers me that they added a part about praying to God. Like, yeah I do sort of believe in a creator, but I don't go out of my way to attend church and pray like a Christian priest. I'd rather they use more intelligent phrasing. The lyrics they're looking for are out there if they would just look hard enough. 'Thanks to the forces, for letting it play out this way'
I am glad that Chris Martin wrote 'Everglow.' I felt like it was one of the few points during the album that he was taking his songwriting seriously.
Only on the UK Amazon Store, Not US. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Head-Full-Dreams-Coldplay/dp/B017IS0HY0/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1446796951&sr=1-1&keywords=coldplay+a+head+full+of+dreams
