Thanks.
The TV is on something similar to this.
Thanks ❤️ It’s part of this one from Amazon. Going to try and modify the other part to hold a pair of XDJ700’s for non vinyl friends to use. 🙂
*home-assembled indeed haha.
The stand is a Pyle laptop stand I bought off amazon. The AMX stand is much less fancy, consists of some AAA travel books.
Pyle PLPTS55 - Portable, Folding Tabletop DJ Gear Stand for Laptop Mixer or Other Gear - Adjustable Angle and Height https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IJSBCLQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_rTefwhrwIKE2B
Do it bro. I had a similar set up and I swear it changed my life. You don’t need an expensive mixer. The denon soundcard is $299 off Amazon. It even comes with control vinyl and everything.
I get depressed too man. We all need an outlet. DJing is an outlet for me. I hope it can be an outlet for you too so you can get better.
Nice setup! I can’t tell how tall that table is, but you should look into getting a riser/stand for your laptop. They are cheap and will help your back and neck during long sessions vs. craning over your laptop. This one on Amazon is solid and only $24: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004HJ1ZB8/
I have two different kinds:

A Kizen flexible selfie stick (No link available tho sorry😅)
It's not super used. But if you shoot me a price we could work something out. But if you want something super cheap that has been finicky for me to constantly get working. I also have an old " Hercules RMX" if you wanted that.
Here is the link to the laptop arm <a target="_blank" href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085DTXPXF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share&_encoding=UTF8&tag=mreliveproduc-20&linkCode=ur2&linkId=b7784e9164a22036b35f0153e3c9e3fc&camp=1789&creative=9325">Laptop Arm </a>
Yes no problem. It’s a combination of a couple of these vivo stands linked below. They’re convenient in that if you buy a couple, you can take apart and rebuild the components for your individual needs just using an allen key. However I wouldn’t recommend using it for anything much heavier than the 400 that’s on there right now.
As for the plant - we’ve been through a lot together. At one point it was down to one leaf and I somehow managed to nurse it back to life. Plant food sticks once ever month, daily spray on the leafs and water about once a week or when soil is dry. I also have a strip of violet lights that’s always on under my stand (you can sort of see it in this pic - although I have no idea if that helped 🤷🏽♂️)
It is actually better than I expected, and quite cheap compared to normal DJ tables.

I got some similar to these:
Clutch Speaker Stands. I had to do a fair amount of research until I found decent quality ones that can handle larger monitors.
Clutch CL-DMS250 Adjustable Height Desktop Studio Monitor Speaker Stands Pair https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TYRFJKD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_P0HADBES5ZHKTN5W4GWE
They do not come with stands. In this photo I attached them (via velcro strips) to a couple of balloon column stands
I've since upgraded them to strap onto some new nice mic stands, but yeah they snap together in 1ft segments so I can add or subtract sections based on the event.
Govee Glides. There's actually one more on each side of the WashFX 2s they're just out of frame.
Thank you, these are the stands: Vondynote Set of 2 Studio Monitor Stands Desktop Speaker Stands with Desk Clamp https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09G9WGNKT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_XQHK568W464VJWFAEKHC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It's from Amazon. It also has 4 usb ports in the side.

Thanks! It’s the HILVER desktop, not sure if they sell it anymore, this is all I could find https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/anfallare-hilver-desk-bamboo-s29417710/
It’s lifted off the Kallax with these legs which are pricey now that IKEA doesn’t make them anymore (you can kinda see in the middle pic)
Thank you so much! I had a spare set of monitors so I thought it would make sense. I got you fam:

I don't, kinda broke in the DJ department now-a-days. Although, This link has an article from Instructables where somebody did make one. inb4DJtechTools
I got it from Amazon, I live in the USA, so I don’t know if that changes anything. Not gunna lie, they’re probably not the best choice. It was cheap and its working fine for me, but it feels a little sketchy sometimes. The lip of the stand doesn’t hold the CDJ very well, but I’ve got them pretty flat so it is laying down solid.

Thanks man! I could make one once I get a case on the LCD controller as right now it’s literally a loose raspberry pi board loose under my DJ controller and kinda janky.
Here’s some relevant info I learned that might be helpful:
-Serato scales well to weird screen resolutions (this is 1920 x 515), but I don’t know about rekordbox/Mixxx etc.
-To get my Macbook to recognize the proper resolution and scale right, I needed to hold ALT-Option while clicking on “scaling” in display setting. It’s like a hidden option and took me a while to find this out.
-The LCD controller that comes with the panel takes the mini HDMI input probably needs a case to not be a fire hazard.
-The panel I got is extremely light and thin, so the mount I made is like 2 pieces of bracket like metal screwed together and the panel is connected by Command Strip like adhesive tape. It seems to be more than enough to support the weight and be balanced.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FJ33247/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_4XY7H3857JK6WATEYCCE
Basically yeah, but it’s kinda jankier than just a simple HDMI input since the LCD controller for the panel needs its own case and connects to the panel with a weird 40 to 30pin connector. If you look at the pictures in the Amazon listing linked below what I’m trying to say will make more sense. The LCD controller included in the listing does take a mini HDMI input tho.
It basically is MacBook USB-C -> HDMI -> Mini HDMI -> LCD Controller -> 40 pin to 30 pin-> panel.

I didn't purchase from Amazon but here is the exact stand that I am using https://www.amazon.com/Headliner-Avalon-CDJ-Stand-HL22000/dp/B08G37QHDC/ref=pd_ybh_a_1/140-3524459-8562607?pd_rd_w=0Ky52&pf_rd_p=5b50fa67-c855-4853-bcaf-579230bfb9aa&pf_rd_r=7ZPXEHW1SAR7FRZ71S0B&pd_rd_r=82d78ec8-5672-4448-9dbe-1f0e3406ee4a&pd_rd_wg=cIQgU&pd_rd_i=B08G37QHDC&psc=1
The lumber on top is a single piece 16" wide, 5' long & 1" thick, and is attached to the the stand w/ eight #12 screws. I picked up the stands from Amazon... Thanks. I'm still learning how to make overlays, that was my first attempt. Used this https://pixlr.com/x/ and some png files. No regular schedule yet but I'm usually streaming on a Friday or Saturday at 7pm UK time.

Looks amazing. Very well shot.
Next step, raise your speakers to your ears. The sound quality improvement will be surprisingly large. Ideally you want them at ear level but you can also just raise them a bit and tilt them up for a big improvement.
For your set up, these would look lovely:
Even these would help though:
i used this one and sealing with krylon clear coat spray: Premium Printable Vinyl Sticker Paper - 25 Matte Sheets of Waterproof White Decal Paper - Perfect for Your Inkjet Or Laser Printer And Compatible with Cricut Cutting Machines https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZNRG5NQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_A56S39FSEC0YHF8TCRT1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
you can try those waterproof sticker papers but i don’t know how well they work

I use it to activate effects. I can press it down and control the left and right deck effect on the 72. There's two options the 72 mixer setting, one setting is if you press it once the effect is locked in, the second option is if you press it and hold it the effect is active as long as your foot is down. I got it on Amazon. don't make the same mistake that I did, it comes with a quarter inch cable already.
For a passive speakers, i highly recommend these Sony's linked below. I run them with a vintage amp and they sound so good. Really clear audio.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O8YLMVA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_zwBaGb195JF53?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I grabbed these ones... super sturdy and very inexpensive. Game changing, especially if you have neighbours lol

Hey man, happy new year to you as well!
There is no plate there, just the mount. The bottom of the rokits have a sort of rectangular foamy type of insulation, which is probably what you’re seeing - but it’s just part of the underside of the speaker.
Btw, not sure if I mentioned before, but these are the mounts in the pictures
Here’s the one I bought on Amazon.
FLEXIMOUNTS 2-in-1 Monitor Arm Laptop Mount Stand Swivel Gas Spring LCD arm Desk mounts for 10''-24'' Computer Screen Monitor/ 11-17.3 inch Notebook https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V33L7UK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_tTqL6h1WnrYup
I've had success with these wall speaker mounts. Bonus is you can route the speaker wirethrough the arm and into the wall if you want to get fiddly with it.
They also have padding and a vise mechanism to really hold the speaker. Not bad for < US$30 for the pair.
if you're going to get technical, you need the tweeters aimed directly at your face, forming an equilateral triangle, with segments 1 meter apart, and the speakers need to be as far from the wall as possible. if you're going to be putting them near a wall for space issues,, Wall Mounts are the SHIT. https://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Clamping-Bookshelf-Surrounding-MS56B/dp/B000X9O8SI/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=monitor+wall+mount+speaker&qid=1608006940&sr=8-3
>Kashimura T1-41
Now I understand why, because Japan has 100 v and USA is 110-120.
Is the 100 watt here a good one?

Legs are from Amazon because the angles Capita legs are expensive in the US.

Awesome setup!
love the DDJ-1000 but want a setup like yours (ikea & speakers)
also waiting for those 305p's to be under $250 a pair
how do you like the V-mota headphones?
BTW if you want to fix your cables behind your desk I recommend this
For the speakers, Something like this on either side: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CD3QYM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Or pull the desk out and put them behind it.
For the computer, you can get a laptop stand thing should be able to work with that?

Another idea like you said was build a second level
Thanks man!
The led light is this although the one I bought didn't come with a remote. İt's pretty powerful for what it is
https://www.amazon.com/Lights-U%60King18-Lighting-Poweful-Wedding/dp/B01N80R48Y
Ah, I see. At the minimum, get something like these:
1.25" Platinum Silicone Hemisphere Bumper, Non-Skid Isolation Feet with Adhesive–20 Duro–4 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075KJ2B78/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_mtwwFbR33NGW7
I cannot emphasize enough on how much cleaner your bass will sound when you isolate your monitors. Not dampening your monitors causes its vibrations to pass on to the shelf, which then produces vibrations (bass) of its own. Ideally, you don’t want to be hearing that secondary muddled bass.
B-tech BT77. I picked a brand new set up for £10. Great quality even at full price. I love the fact they side clamp so there are no physical fixings to damage the monitor https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004DCAOHK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_j8vmFb51E9TR8
That's brilliant about the 2x2, rack, and table top. I've had a hell of a time trying to find some kind of perfect record/DJ unit & audio rack to hold a couple receivers/graphic equalizers I've collected over the years. What I have in my mind's eye does not exist. I basically went with this solid night stand from Amazon that gets the job done and sits next to a expedit 4x2 w/ 2 MK5s and a mixer on top. I can't find a pic at the moment. :(

basically these, however I bought mine on the South Korean Market
1byone 8.6-Inch Crystal Sound Activated LED Stage Light, with Dmx512 Control, for Halloween, Christmas, Home, Birthday, Karaoke, Dance Party, etc https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GN4VP6A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-uQlCbKG08KWX
Hmm, They are just regular speaker stands. Pretty cheap and I like them. They came with rubber pads for a wood floor and spikes for carpet.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005JTV358/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got them from Amazon. Honestly not a huge fan, they aren't very stable at all & I'm sort of sketched out using these for my monitors.
If it's got an internal power supply, buy a switching AC adapter with interchangeable tips. Make sure this adapter can supply enough current (1.2 A)
