Other options are using a remote grabber or turning the motor upside down and shaking it. Easier with it out of the frame, make sure to drain the oil.

Proshot isn't bad, but IMO it's kind of expensive for what it is. For $30 on Amazon you can get a pile of different mounts, not just for the helmet but all kinds of applications, and then you can do a mount like Jake theGardenSnake does in this video. IMO, that's a way better deal, because it gives you the ability to mount the camera wherever you want, at any angle/orientation, and it gives you tons of extra mounts as well, so you can try different camera locations and see what you like. The Proshot is tried and true, but it's also just one fixed perspective, for one helmet. Another thing with GoPro mounts, if you figure out a setup you really like, take out the big thumb screws and replace them with set screws, or just socket head cap screws, and loctite them in place. Cleaner look, less stuff to catch the helmet on.
I run the open back on the GoPro to pick up the voices - I think the comedy is in the banter sometimes - my videos are really for me but I try and make them more entertaining and the conversations sometimes are hilarious.
Looks like it is time for a new bike. Jk. Try a magnet on a wire to fish it out. Or one of these graber things.

Should be able to get one at your local hardware store
If that fails start tearing it down till you can find the parts.
You might be able to get something like this in there. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VGPP859/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_T8F03RK377AJYCY51KEY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Otherwise worst case scenario is you can just get a piece of foam cut to size and use a rubber band or zip tie it in place.
YES! Its too hot to ride in the summer in the desert (altho I do night rides) but riding jet skis is a fun crossover sport- the yamaha waveblaster is as close to a dirt bike on the water as you can get!
I wear these hoops. They're very small, no bigger than a nickel.
The real problem is my glasses. They're a huge pain in the butt. I have to take off my goggles, then my glasses, then my helmet. They get foggy on hot days. I basically never take off my helmet as soon as I put it on until I'm done riding. Have to go to the washroom? I keep my helmet on. Have to drink? I do this weird head tilt with my water bottle and hope it gets into my mouth. I had to get OTG goggles and they're still not perfect. Unfortunately I can't wear contacts.
Edit: Here's a pic of me looking miserable with my glasses on
> (Is it Oc-oh-till-oh, or Oc-oh-tee-oh? I've heard both.)
It's "tee-oh" when gringos say it. It's a Spanish word, so it really has more of a "y" sound in there. http://www.howjsay.com/index.php?word=ocotillo
But if you pronounce the "L's" you are definitely doing it wrong.

Maybe put another set of straps there I’ve heard of those plastic fork things falling off. I’ve never had a bike fall on the highway but have had them Tip over on the trailer I suggest you use straps with carabiners.
Stick with the bell unless you can get one of those horns that goes "AAHHHHWOOOGA". Lots of recommendations all over the internet for cards, I've always had the best luck and sound with the bicycle brand playing cards, snag a pack from anywhere and they'll give you that perfect sound.
Making assumptions on the duck, but I think this is the one you're looking for.
oh yeah, i can see that because of the location you used on the handlebars. most people tie them down closer to the handgrips, I usually use your spot on a trailer or with smaller bikes
I recommend you get a pair of these powertye tie downs, I own a pair and they give me huge peace of mind know that worst-case scenario my bike won't end up on the freeway or causing an accident. just don't get crazy with ratcheting the forks down too hard.
Why don't you use some rust converter, then sand it and paint it?
At least that's what I would do.
This is the closest thing I could find on amazon, is this what you're talking about?
It’s the black widow hitch carrier from discount ramps. Works great if you get a hitch stabilizer from Amazon. The ramp is a bit flimsy but the rack is solid.

You don't even have to buy the whole assembly, just the lever piece itself:
https://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-14-0211-Polished-Clutch/dp/B003CJF100
Make sure that one matches up to your bike, but there are only a couple of common styles, and that one should fit most dirt bikes.
Get a fork saver if you like to pull your tie downs that far down.

This is my First Aid Kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PF1T845/r
I carry full took kit, fully charged cell phone, inReach Mini, tow strap, folding saw, rain poncho, zip ties, paper maps, fuel transfer hose/tourniquet, pocket knife, lighter, and some energy bars.
They say tie downs, but it is a super strong one ended ratchet strap. You loop one end of the strap through the ratchet and make a loop. I just bought a set for trailering my Street glide and they work great. I can imagine them being useful in your situation.
The "moving around" part is due to the slop in the hitch receiver.
I bought the heavy duty $20 hitch tightener on Amazon. That takes out almost any movement. I also lightly ratchet strap one end of the carrier to the bumper which kind of "binds" it toward once side.
I've got the cheapest steel 500lb-rated carrier on Amazon with a 250lb dirt bike. The only thing moving on rough roads is the motorcycle because of the suspension.
i have almost the same trailer setup, except my harbor freight trailer is a 20 year old pos lol.
how you have it is pretty much fine, but as other's have said i'd invest (<$10) in soft straps that go around your handlebars. especially with this trailer, i'm a huge fan of straps that fully go around the tie down point. here is an example. so if you go over any bumps and your shocks compress, there's no chance of the straps falling out of the tiedown points. straps like that have given me tons of piece of mind.
>I did see grip studs but they are quite a bit more expensive than this route.
The thing about grip studs is that the point is much smaller and it is hardened. This creates an ice pick that really penetrates the ice.
The screw heads you are using have a lot of surface area. I don't think they will penetrate hard ice. Soft, yes. Hard smooth, no. The edges of the screws are sharp and may bite.
I'm not 100% sure on all this because I've never done the lake ice racing thing. I've only done the woods riding. I'm sharing my thoughts in the case they may be helpful to you.
You can buy knock off Gripstuds that work pretty well.
https://www.amazon.ca/Marrkey-Anti-Slip-Snowmobile-Motorcycle-Installation/dp/B078JKLVYL?th=1
The cheapest by far is to use the automotive studs and buy the gun. The tips are hardened on them and they bite really well.
Threebond i wouldnt even bother with a gasket. As long as both surfaces are free of oil (like squeaky clean) this shit will last longer than any gasket.
Wow this is an old yz250. Has the round metal bars instead of the flat alu ones.
Personally I never bother with those protectors. I put anti slip tape on it like this https://www.amazon.com/Tape-King-Anti-Slip-Traction/dp/B01M63K167/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=anti+slip+tape&qid=1663213656&sr=8-5
I don't do this to protect but to get extra grip when squeezing the bike between my legs.
I bought this carburetor for my YZ250. It's being sold by JFG Racing, which is a reputable seller. Not sure how to carb works though as I've not put my bike together fully and ran it.
If you don’t have a welder just jbweld a socket that you have to hammer onto it with a rubber mallet. Make sure you use parts cleaner to decrease it first.

Do yourself a favor and get straps like this that clip in. Your set up now runs the risk of becoming undone if you hit a pothole. The types with safety clips are also great so you don’t have to ratchet it so much as to compress your forks for long.
Also, run the back straps from under the seat instead of the pegs.
Those old blue KX forks were always the coolest. For what it's worth if you're filling your forks to volume instead of height I found that my RatioRite wasn't all that accurate and was off by a bunch of CC's . It's not that big of a deal when mixing fuel but when you want exactly 350cc's of oil instead of like 360 or 375 it can be important. I got a set of these bad boys which are way more accurate.
I like Motul 710 for enduro riding.

Order one of these https://www.amazon.com/Flex-Hone-Tool-BC4M18-Brush-Research-Cylinder/dp/B09D951Q85 In 2 3/4 or 2 5/8 size (70mm or 67mm), 240 grit. Put it in a drill with some oil on the honing balls, then hone your cylinder. Move it up and down on a slow drill speed. Try to get a 45 degree angle on the lines (it’s not that super important, just don’t let the lines go flat). You would be surprised how much just 10 seconds makes on an iron sleeve cylinder. Your cylinder looks like a great candidate for a hone and go. You can look up a video on how to hone a cylinder as well, most of them are good. They may have a different style hone or different cylinder, but the theory is the same. Make sure you order a ball/flex hone though, don’t use a normal 3 stone hone. Also, never hone a nikasil plated cylinder, it will ruin the coating. Only use a hone on iron sleeve cylinders.
I'm not sure what geographical region you live in, but bikes are harder to start if it's cold out and if they haven't been ridden in a while. I might be a good idea to start your bike once a week in between trips to your riding area.
If the bike is turning off after you start it, then it could be an old spark plug. if the plug is new, then check the gas. is it empty? is it old? is there the proper oil mixture (2T only). If none of those, then you might have a bigger issue.

I'd invest in a chain cleaning brush, looks like a big toothbrush sorta thing. And I've had good results with maxima chain cleaning kit. I have a 4x8 utility trailer that I plan on using for my bike(s) with some wheel chicks like this. I have a hitch rack but it's unwieldy and is a tight fit on the back on my jeep. The trailer will be great to bring along gear like gasoline and to toss the muddy boots in at the end of the day.

I use a cheap Amazon phone mount.
I added some double sided foam tape to it for extra security as well as a little strap of safety wire. If it’s rainy I stick a ziplock baggie over it.
It’s held my old cheap android gps phone securely for multiple trail rides, desert races, setting up courses etc for the last year or two. if it’ll last through that it’ll last through most anything aside from slamming into it with my body.
I like using an old phone for maps/gps. One big benefit of it is that you can sync everything immediately as soon as it’s got wifi (I never use a current phone or my primary) so if it gets lost or broken on a ride or especially a long trip, no biggie. Walk into Walmart or something, grab a burner smart phone for $100 or less and load up your maps on wifi at the Coffee shop next door.

ordered this one cus it was the cheapest at the time. supposedly it was an original wavian but seems like it is chinese. cus the bracket is kinda cheap and barely works at holding the spout to the tank. how ever the actual hose/spout works fantastic, make sure to start pouring slow at first to get the flow going out of the spout and not the vent. after that it will pour like a waterfall.
If I find out where the dude got it from I'll make sure to let you know.

I’d suggest not using this extreme cold “flavor” unless you’re doing snow rides or ice racing. To me this is for a street bikes in a commuting application.
Also, if you’re using different brands and mixtures of coolant (even when the same color, it is best to flush out the old and then add the new. It’ll be a mess your first time but it’s not hard to do. Buy a gallon of distilled water too to help you flush out the old. HERE is an example of how to do it.
I moved to Engine Ice in the mid 2000s and have run this in California and Arizona on a 125, 250F, and now in my 350.
I have one. If you’re hooking it to the back of a jeep you will need an extender or to remove the spare tire other wise your pegs will dig into the tire. The only other issue I had was the ended up bending the tie down hooks that sits next to the hitch. I ended up getting this that came with straps to wrap around the bar to tie down to. After some learning curves it’s been pretty amazing. Only other tip is to try and not park in soft dirt, I did that once and I ended up having to rachet the ramp down because it kept falling in the dirt while I was trying to load.
I use a similar one for my street bike to take it to track days. It’s possible to get it down yourself, but in my opinion getting it on is a two person job. I use canyon dancers on the bar ends and this hitch mounted carrier because it’s flat, so it’s easier to roll on, and the ramp has two attachment points so it’s not as wobbly going up. Works great for my dirt bike too.

So I have been strapping this up to my bars to at least have my phone in front of me and protected and it’s pretty sweet. Also makes for a nice place of time a water bottle and a quick snack. Goes on and off easy enough. A decent substitute that is gentler on the vibration transferred to the phone I would imagine. so I can use phone for nav and see who is calling or change my music. But lose ability to use camera on bars🤦🏻♂️. Would have thought Apple would have tested that rigorously!
When you put an engine away for storage you run it and get it hot and while its running you spray this in the intake until it stalls. It coats the cylinder and valves and basically everything internal with oil to keep it from getting corrosion over the Winter.
Is that a Chinese bike? We just had the same thing break, and had to buy a new stator assembly, as the mount for the pickup is part of the stator plate.

If you really want to go riding or something this weekend you can put in a temp rubber drain bolt, like this one, and then afterward like everyone else says put in a helicoil kit.
Another plus of having it on the back hitch of the RV is that it shakes the RV if it’s tampered with. So that should wake you up. An audible alarm disk lock would work too.
And it leaves the bed of the truck empty for a generator (like if you don’t have an onboard gen and need to stay in a truck stop one night where it’s not convenient to leave it out, other vacation stuff).
A Steel cable lock like this is really tough to cut without using something like a grinder or saw. Normal bolt cutters won’t do much against rubber coated, braided steel cable. The link below is similar to the ones we used.

I have Lexin ones from Amazon. Supposed to have a mile range I believe but rarely is it a quarter of that. However they also work with your phone thru bluetooth. So we just make a phone call to each other and have zero issues and no worries about distance. Sound is great and no wind noise or excessive engine sounds unless I'm riding my 2 stroke hard. I picked up a much cheaper set for 25 bucks from Amazon that's just bluetooth thinking I'd save cash for the third helmet setup. But that thing picks up a ton of engine noise from a quiet 4 stroke atv and makes it useless.

Everyone harshes on them despite never seeing them, same as Chinese bikes. Change the oil asap and check fasteners before every ride, blue loctite them when they back out. Also check the welds, the assembly lines will every once in a while make one with bad penetration. I'm still riding a 5 year old $200 to me Apollo that has a few issues, but they're ones I either created or made worse. Treat it as nice or nicer than you would a Japan bike and it will last you fine. I run this Telesin chin mount, same concept, cheaper and it's strapped so not as easy to take off but no worries about loosing it. Once I put it on, I never took it off. I definately agree on the angle, it's the best one I've tried in the past decade or so filming moto with gopros.

Its easily removable, leaves no mount stickers on your helmet and captures the bars and gives a better feel in the video imo. I ride with it now and am sold(used to just clip it to helmet visor upside down, which works good until you are annoyed looking at it). I will be posting a lot more videos with it , just getting used to editing right now. Hours of content but I don't think people enjoy the strait up riding and only enjoy the hillclimbs and more technical trails. Not the dusty meh stuff around here.
Next time you wash your bike wear the boots and power wash them. Waterproof spray i use works well

. Pull the cylinder off and make sure it's not scarred. If it's okay then order this kit and a gasket. If the cylinder is scratched, then just post it for 200 on craigslist and move on
Just to offer an alternative... 2 of my bikes are on stands. One uses a triangle stand that goes into the rear axle.

Those are too flimsy w/o sides. You could benefit from ones like these made by Maier plastics. My dad had them on his 92 ktm 300 to make "bypass trails" through manzanita, lol.
Edit: I wish I knew if this $50 set comes w/ the framework or not.

I like the ratchet and carabiner design. I'm still new to cam buckles and don't trust them 100%.
You sir are very welcome. I’m not against loud pipes, to each their own, unless they are being obnoxious or like you said... riding in an area that’s threatening to close due to noise complaints.
Ya, my off the shelf options are limited.
Came across this guy on amazon earlier, seems like a good bet: FMF Racing 20303 Spark Arrestor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0144JVSK8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_y51yBbA5D9C94
Ok. I will buy them eventually. Right now I've only been on flat trails with literally no rocks. I know where you're coming from though. Epseically after seeing that vid of the guy get is leg impaled by a stake do these look good: O'Neal Men's New Logo Rider Boot (Black, Size 11) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XWHV8C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Ps1hBbRD46YF3
