your not going to get a decent racing wheel new for anything less than $200
one of the most decent racing wheels and i use it is a logitech G29 its now an older model but you can still get them new and they are $237 right now on amazon
but anything in your price range is going to be a piece of crap and will most likely break
Might I suggest Resolve? People are leaving Premiere en-masse for it. Adobe these days is filled with bugs and overpriced. I shit you not, just googling "adobe sucks" will show you. You pay more in the long run. Resolve uses better hardware acceleration for faster editing and has superior color grading, on top of that it's cheaper by a huge margin.
Oh my god i finaly found it after hours of looking at the map bc all common mentioned spots werent the isuee. imma just leave that here maybe if can help someone else too https://snipboard.io/FTx6ZL.jpg but still thank u guys for all the suggestions it could have been! :3
I dont know if ds4 2.2.2 works with ds5 but if you are willing to try it here's the link from github https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/releases/tag/v2.2.2
Make sure you download the right one for your system
I found a copy on amazon for $14.95
Theres a ton of VPN companies. Some paid some free. If you wanted a free one, i dont know if its still good but i used Hola VPN to watch US shows when i lived in Germany. However free VPNs arent always the most stable. NordVPN is a popular paid service. They sponsor basically every youtuber so you could pull up a random sponsored video off youtube, grab their promo code and get a couple months free i think, so that you could see if you like it
I use a normal computer chair. It ran about $175 10 years ago and is remarkably sturdy. Plenty of adjustments for height, arms, recline, butt-angle, etc. Once I got the pedals positioned where I liked, I screwed a 2x4 to the floor to keep the pedals fixed in place. My only problem was the chair rolling backwards as I race. I like to recline, as in a real car, and I use both feet on the pedals so this was an annoying problem. To solve this, I bought the linked rug and it is working wonderfully. No more chair moving.

I bought this PowerA Enhanced a couple months ago as a backup to my FFB wheel. Seems to work perfectly and for only $30.
Carx's controls are janky and unintuitive. With controller assist off, the controls are too sensitive to use with a controller. With controller assist on, you don't countersteer, you steer into the drift. There's nothing realistic about that.
Beyond that, I've drifted both an is300 and a miata in real life and the game's counterparts feel extremely different than their real life counterparts. Forza's emulation of a Miata is infinitely better.
Carx is literally a mobile game poorly ported to PC with a litany of issues beyond just poorly optimized controls.
Carx is far from the realistic game you think it is.
>You sound very stupid right now
Good ole ad hominem, real classy argument
These M.2 to CFE adapters got me curious lol
Unfortunately there's so many things in a typical house that use the same frequency as controllers - I changed to 'wired' and it was worth the minor hassle just to never get disconnected.
I used these, it took 3.5 years for one to break but I probably was a bit too rough with it; the micro USB end needs to be respected. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B078FSLYL9/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Okay yea but many times when they are in offer at 2000 rupees. This was the closest one in offer.
wish they had legos like that when i was a kid, lego was my favorite toy. There were a few in particular that were my favorites, my all-time was a race-car hauler that was just so sick. It had the truck, trailer, cars and the cars could drive into the back. It had opening compartments with tools and stuff for pit stops.
Here it is, basically, except mine was white and was slightly different than this (was like 1995)
I'd say my second favorite was the shuttle from back then too.
Ohh I see, so you also have a acer laptop like me. First thing I would like to mention is that acer stock thermal paste is straight up garbage. Dont let acer replace the thermal paste. They make a mess and they put the same garbage thermal paste.
First of all put any other high performance laptop thermal paste and the temps would reduce by atleast 20℃. On top of that for even cooler temps I use a laptop cooling pad which reduced temps further by around 5℃. Now since you have a gaming laptop. You would definitely be having side vents so for even lesser temps I would suggest to put on a laptop vacuum cooler. There are cheaper ones for 20$. You can put them on both sides also. All of this combined will atleast reduce temps by atleast 30 degrees.
Now the temps will be around 50℃ in idle and around 70-80℃ at max loads. Now you dont need to undervolt as well as you've got some overclocking headroom. Temps till 90℃ will be fine for laptops so you can push it further to how much you'd like.
Now not only will ur system feel much more faster but you will also have chance to boost performance by oc and overvolting!

There are also lot of variations in the comment section which I shared with the community based on request.
That car has lots of grip and not enough power, so it's very hard to drift. Get up to speed in a straight line, then hit the handbrake and let it slide. You still won't be able to hold the drift, but it should give some points. Also use the downhill roads, the gravity pulling you down allows you to drift a bit better. Here is an image someone else made for a good route, it has straights for building up speed followed by corners were you can drift.
i can easily top that https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipMVAqMA9jfDQtGLJny4RhBdQeoJNwk6-K9jwd7boQxXbwmSeP85hwMbPGIGmTxyEg?key=RHlQb0NMV2VYVFNsSmFQd1REZXlueVhjdVRhalJR

That is what I had thought as well, but it is the official Microsoft wheel, this one to be exact https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-Racing-Wheel/dp/B000VBIGK4&ved=2ahUKEwjc26-ax9L1AhVEnWoFHbFbCjoQFnoECEAQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2t0YCj0zJOI1JV4wcX005v
So I had installed the necessary drivers for the wheel, windows recognizes it, but yeahhhh...

On sale. Not sure if you've got the funds at this moment, but I have one of these and it seems to be one of the best options at a decent price.
If you game a bunch and think you'll need more storage at some point, These are on sale. Could help speed times up a bit, and give you some extra storage. I have one and have no complaints about it, though I don't have much experience with SSDs.
Well mine came with my X360 years ago, but you can get them on Amazon, or used in places like CEX (I'm in UK) or I guess the likes of GameStop for US.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-Xbox-Common-Controller-Windows/dp/B004JU0JSK/
I didn't realise just how many knock-off brands there were until searching for it on Amazon. It doesn't need to say "for Windows" but they did brand a wired version like that aiming it at PC gamers back when Games For Windows Live was a thing.
You do it from your PC, or in my case, my iPad or phone. I use NordVPN, but I have a subscription for that. You should be able to look up and try a free one. However, my basic steps were to open my VPN on my iPad and choose a server in the country of the code purchased. For FH3, I VPN’d to the United Kingdom. Once my IP and internet traffic was secured and established as being in the UK, I went to the Microsoft redeem website on my iPad and entered the code. Presumably after doing a license/region/IP check, it told me my code redemption was successful and I disconnected my VPN. On my XBOX, I don’t recall if it was already downloading, but I always go and check manage to see if it’s already in queue or if there are any additional add-ones that need to be checked for install. The process was pretty quick and easy and once you’ve redeemed the code successfully, you no longer need the VPN, as the content is tied to your Microsoft account and playable regardless of what region you’re in.
I went thru the same steps for the FH3 add-on(s) that were an Argentina code.
Good luck!
If you have an Nvidia card then Moonlight is a pretty good reverse engineered version of Shadow Play which allows you to turn pretty much any Android, Chrome OS, iOS device, or even a Wii U into an Nvidia Shield. You'll have to manually add FH5 to the Shield > Gamestream section in GeForce Experience - you've already done the tricky bit with UWPHook, so just get Steam to create a desktop shortcut and you can use that to add the game to Gamestream.
it's really great to know that you use G2A.

Game seems to need really high data transfer speeds, lots of people are having issues on HDD's and even some SSD's. A USB-C external drive can offer double the speed of USB 3.0 Perhaps just switching your external drive into a new USB-C enclosure could help, and you won't lose your data. Probably a dumb question, but why don't you have a controller? Even the cheapest piece of crap on Amazon is going to be better than driving with the keyboard.
Check win 11 firewall. Put the game exe specifically on exception to be allowed both in and out.
Also if like me using NordVPN reinstall it. Even after the firewall exception it was odd but fixed after nord reinstall.
And the setting I had to use was 'hide ds4 controller' and then launch the game. Sometimes I had to repeat that until it would work. I didn't play around with getting rumble to work, but I got my dualsense (PS5) controller to work through the ds4 windows software, and then going into the setting and hiding the controller.
SOLUTION FOR PEOPLE GOOGLING:
After hours of trying to solve this I found this solution.
Run the script and follow the instructions.
Boot DS4Windows.
Go to the Settings tab.
Check "Hide DS4 Controller". It will ask for windows permission. Accept.
Boot the game. If the controller doesn't work still, then click "Stop" on DS4 Windows, then Start, while keeping the game open.
Overtime you boot the game, you have to click START and STOP on DS4 Windows. You may have to repeat all the steps from 3 onward if you restart your PC. (I can confirm setting the PC to sleep only makes you do step 7 again)
In the Windows search bar, look for the Event Viewer program. Once you have the program opened up, click on Windows Log then Applications on the left hand side. At the center of Event Viewer is a gray box labeled "System Number of events: "; click an event that is labeled Error. You will see the details of your crash in the center bottom of Event Viewer.
So that could be NAT related. Have you checked that you’re set to open?

So I found a workaround. Used a VPN and it works through the VPN. PrivateVPN has a 7 day free trial no credit card required. But yeah, still gonna go through support and see why my connection doesn't work organically, will update.

Don't, for the love of god wait a second and consider some different wheels. I would highly suggest something like a Thrustmaster TX. They are around the same price but the quality is soo much better. Or maybe even wait and preorder a Fanatec CSL DD, it is ridicilously cheap for a direct drive wheel and performance wise you won't even get near it in that price range. I'll post some links. Just don't get the G29, there are much better steering wheels for that price.

I use the g29 for PS4 and PC. Awesome entry level stuff and perfect for arcade games like forza. If you can budget it, I highly recommend a play seat as well.
I got this one used for $100 and it really makes the whole thing come together.
Friend had a similar issue on launch day. He got it to start by downloading a free VPnN (Hotspot Shield is pretty good) and it kickstarts it into downloading. Then from there you can turn it off and let it download on your wifi/ethernet connection. Hope this works for you!
This is the one I got. Can fit 5 controllers if you squeeze them as close together as possible.

Do you use the Ryochan7 version of DS4Windows or the old one? You should use the Ryochan7: https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/ and it should work just fine.
Hate to slide back in right after making a post but just ran across this site that actually had some more recent reviews on it.

I'm going to take a pass.
You might find something on VPN passthrough settings.
I have a huawei B311 I use as a backup. It has a 3 sim in it UK.
Just tested it with an Xbox and it connects and plays fine, no IPSEC issues. Wifi only so can't connect my PC to it.
I'd check the router settings and make sure anything VPN passthrough is enabled.
Also you may want to look at something like GRC DNS Checker
Otherwise, it could be a Network provider issue
Yeah, this desk isn't ideal for it, but it'll do

Based on you saying you don't know about Game Pass (meaning you don't have an active subscription), you could have used the $60 you spent on the Standard edition and bought 12 months of Gold, then done the conversion for $1 to get one year of Game Pass, including FH5 at launch and a bunch of other games for that year.
If you pre-ordered and they haven't charged your card yet, I recommend getting a refund and doing just that. If you can afford to add more Gold time before the conversion (up to 36 months), you'll maximize your value.
Also: if you're gaming on a budget, you really need to start earning Microsoft Rewards points. It's pretty easy to earn 15-18K points a month nowadays, which translates to $18-20 when redeemed for MS account credit. I currently have over $225 in points, and some people have paid for entire Series X/S consoles with them. Check out r/MicrosoftRewards for instructions.
Personally, I'm getting Game Pass for less than $5/mo with my second Gold conversion and bought the Premium FH5 add-on bundle with MS Rewards credits. I make a comfortable living, but part of that is taking advantage of all money-saving opportunities: I haven't paid actual money for a video game in about four years.
It's a yaeye

I have this, and if you're spending the scratch on this, you can spend the scratch on a stand, because honestly, it won't be worth it without it IMHO. I have the same one, and tried, it wasn't good. I got this, and love it, not as noisy, and very sturdy.
If that really won't do, try a sturdy Wooden TV tray.. you can usually find them at second hand shops like goodwill, really cheap.

Ayo apparently the og xbox 360 title for fh1 is compatible with the Xbox One S according to this article apparently anything with the "One" nameplate (excluding the discless one s) other than that you can pick up a use copy of fh1 from amazon for $9 to $69 (including shipping) so your in the clear!

Xbox One. It couldn't possibly be easier to use. Plug it in, Windows immediately recognizes it, and Forza is automatically mapped perfectly to it.
The Xbox One controller is superior to the 360. Thumbsticks are better, force feedback is better, and most importantly, the trigger buttons are far better.
