Spigen case is perfect. Great quality, clicky buttons and a high front lip to protect the screen. There are multiple spigen cases but this is the one I purchased 👇
Test your device with scene guard removed by using mentioned application. Because glass will have flare effect especially gorilla glass 3 has more flare than any other in premium samsung mobiles they use better glass on panel with different thickness of glass and due to curved glasses messier people don't have tempered glasses so flare is less visible. Which means it is more visible that pixels will be turned off. And to answer the question the display is normal super amoled and yes pixels do turn off on pure black content that means hex value should be absolutely black. Problem with panel is the natural mode is too dull if it is not liking to your taste then try to use amoled photo or cinema mode. Google is there's a way. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.displaytester
I've used this one for the past 5 months and it's holding up pretty well. It's a bit costly but the quality is definitely worth the extra as its harder to wear out.
This is the one I have. Fits perfectly. Camera cutout is perfect. You cannot tell it wasn't made for the FE.

I got this one for my wife. It works with our s20 fe 5g phones.

The only one I can think of is the Ringke Dual Easy Wing Film, though I haven't used it I know a few people saying it's great because it covers both the front and back of the phone.

Unlike this case's version for the OnePlus 7T, it isn't compatible with a tempered glass screen protector after removing the built-in plastic one; at least not the screen protector I tried.
The biggest issue with root is that you will lose OTA updates, meaning you'll have to install updates from Odin (and meaning you will also loose root and TWRP each time).
You can debloat without rooting: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tool-adb-appcontrol-v1-6-3-app-manager-debloat-tool-for-android.4147837/

So the S20 FE is the first phone that I haven't rooted, and I must say it's not a big deal.
Everybody that uses gestures should try "One Hand Operation +"
So many customization options, and the gestures straight up work better, even if you do not use any of the customizations.
Google Wallpapers app is really nice with the daily wallpaper feature. I use the landscape category.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.wallpaper&hl=en&gl=US
this is from Amazon UK however you might be able to search the company name and find it in India. It comes with two cases and two screen protectors. Let me try get a picture of the phone with the cases and I'll share it here. This is a picture of the cases off the phone
MiniWall and Unusual Wallpapers are a couple of my favorites. theres also a few groups on telegram that have some cool wallpapers

This one works fine for me but I'm not one to have wild accidents. It'll survive a drop onto concrete though. And it did go down some stairs once. I wanted to show off the color on my phone since it matched a lot of my favorite accessories and it works for those who don't have their phone in too many risky situations.
I use Smart Launcher 5 (premium) instead of stock UI.
In addition to many perks and customizations, it gives you option to edit icons to ones liking with many choices if one has installed an icon pack as well.
Otherwise just install an icon pack and fiddle around.
go with sandisk Id recommend sandisk since theyr know to have some of the best i currently use one at 256gb and it works well.
I agree with you. My solution: download TILES from the Play Store, create a new tile for an app and select the settings app. Now you can put it in anywhere in the quick settings. Hope it helps.
I got it from Amazon for $13. Spigen wanted $24 for it on their website. I don't understand why it's called a hybrid. It's just a clear case. But I really like it. Here is the link.
I have a USB hub along with a 45W charger
There is an app at play store that can change that. You can change the 2 taps with it but the long press is only on the paid version, so did not checked yet. The only annoying thing, it looks it open first the app or bixby, then it changes for the selected action. It is quick, but noticeable.

If there is another app or free alternative, i would love to hear!
FYI, Spigen now sells a self-adhesive kickstand that you can adhere to pretty much any case:

You can even set different colors for different apps.
If the protector is dirty, yeah. But really, I've noticed only one issue with mine - flash photos have a very noticeable washed out, flared kind of effect (and the one I'm using is actually made for this phone, came in this multi-pack)
While it seems the glass is fragile enough and Samsung got sued over it, I think small scratches aren't dangerous and won't affect photos unless positioned right in front of the lens.
You could use an additional glass protector, but, afaik, at least some of them hinder flash shots as well. There are also cases with a sliding camera cover, like this one from Amazon, but they typically have their own drawbacks (flimsy build, bulky cover, not protecting other phone parts well enough).
Install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.andr7e.sensortest
Then try blocking the area to the immediate left of front camera. I also tested by disabling the camera light sensor app and testin using the above app.
Ya may be battery optimization , but also another thing is that in status bar it wont show both upload and download speeds separately so i just found this one below
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitter.internetmeter
Seems working just fine
I was on same search, after few tests I got this one and I'm very happy with it

I have been using this since December 2020 when I bought my S20FE. It has served me well and is still being used till today. Sound quality is really good and its cheap. It even allows you to switch on UHQ Upscaling in the sound effects settings page in the phone.
https://www.amazon.com/Nillkin-Headphone-Adapter-Galaxy-Silver/dp/B088YLL4KC
I purchased this one and it works very well so far even on Tidal
This is the one I use. It installed easy, it's cheap, has a decent oleophobic coating, and it doesn't get in the way of my case so I have no complaints. I didn't install the camera covers that it comes with so I can't speak on how well those work.
I have 2 both with a DAC, one that can charge the phone with a bit rate of 24bits and another that's just an adapter that's 32bits. if you want better audio look for a 32bit DAC adapter. both work with Viper4Android but the 32bit is superior by far.

Alright, i found an app that should work: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.lkstudios.keepscreenon Works for me but then again you have to turn it on everytime you want to play a game
I had the Spigen Rugged Armor, which already felt a bit rough or coarse to the touch. But after taking it on holiday, it became really grubby and greasy having been in warm conditions.
Since returning from the holiday, I've gone back to the Ringke Clear Fusion for a slim and smooth feel. The only issue I have with the latter is that it's yellowish, but I'd rather that over a coarse grubby texture.
Currently I'm looking out for a slim case.
I bought this Anmula case, because it looked identical to the "Spigen Rugged Armour" case, but in the Navy Blue colour that matches my phone back. Can confirm it is exactly the same case as the Spigen, but with better colour options, and cheaper. It feels like a premium soft plastic case, and has a cool superfine texture on the back. It's slim but still has enough bevel on it to protect the screen and camera. I've had it 6 months now and still in perfect condition.
Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.nbu.files
or

Read carefully what both applications want to remove from your phone and double-check SD Maid settings.
sounds like Fido wants to give you a "solution" that doesn't involve removing their sim card, maybe they're banking on you getting frustrated one day and turning data back on as needed and paying a ton for it. fuck that noise, have UK friends talk to you about PAYG sim cards here.
you may lose or gain a frequency band that's not natively supported in the UK or Canada... in such a case this app may (or may not) be able to help

I have used many budget screen protectors and have noticed no screen distortion. I find the coating as good as the phone screen. I just got some screen protectors without a cutout for the front camera. I installed routines+ and then I set it to listen to a notification from an app to monitor battery temperature. I then added all the temperature ranges (e.g. 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27...) to turn fast charge on/off. I use this app to monitor battery temperature: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.simplesmartapps.emmanuelpastor.batterytemperature

When you find the song you wanna remove the artwork for click it and click the 3 lines at the top, then click "remove artwork"
The good thing about automatic tag editor is that you can add any artwork you want from your gallery to any song you want.

I used to be a fan of the clear covers to show the premium finish, but I play COD Mobile and realised that the cover was getting greasy/oily/sweaty from my hands and not helping me at all. Also another annoyance is that the clear covers go yellow-orangy.
If you're referring to swiping up from the bottom on the home screen using Nova Launcher, the trick is that you have to swipe up and hold (up about a third of the screen), and then the recent apps will appear.
If you want an additional and faster way, just get One Hand Operation and set up some left and right swipe and hold gesture shortcuts.
Anmula Case is what I've been using. It's identical to the Spigen Rugged Armour but in a nicer colour and no branding printed on it.
I'm in Canada and I ordered these through Amazon for my S20FE

Just buy official one. It should be something around 17/18E in DE
If you have the money, I'd go for a 60w or 100w multi-charger so that you can fast-charge your phone and any other devices you have. I have one and it's very handy. This is it: UGREEN 65W Multiport USB C Charger
If you need a wii emulator than Dolphin emulator is very good its also available on other platforms. And if you need a website to download roms i personally use vimm.net only problem is download speed is a little slow but they have a huge library. If you need other emulator recommendations let me know
As someone has already suggested, Spigen Monument is a good choice. It feels very nice in hand and offers very good protection.
If you want to flaunt the phone's color, try this translucent case KAPA Back Cover.
Simply get the google clock app on the Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.deskclock)
I disabled the Game Booster on my phone because it was causing performance drops, general lag and some strange bugs regarding navigation gestures (the navigation pill would randomly reappear even though I had the navigation gestures hints disabled).
You can disable it on PC through ADB or directly on your phone through LADB. It's a Local Android Debug Bridge. The app is not free on Play Store, but the source code is freely available on GitHub. You can try to search for a compiled app online if you don't want to do it yourself. You won't need a PC, but you'll need to connect to a Wi-Fi network for it to work.
Install the app, enable Developer Settings, USB Debugging and Wireless Debugging. The LADB needs to be open at the same time as the Wireless Debugging in order for them to pair (either split screen or a floating window). You'll have to enter a pairing code. I had to force stop and clear the storage for LADB until I figured it all out. Once they are paired you can open LADB and enter any commads you want (some may not work). I turned off "automatic ADB Shell" in the LADB settings (three dots on the upper right -> Help). The exact command that worked for me was
adb shell pm disable-user--user0 com.samsung.android.game.gametools
If it works you should get a confirmation in the ADB shell.I hope this helps.
I quite recently stumbled upon TeraBox A Terabyte of free cloud storage. Not really sure about how reliable it is yet and I still keep local back up at home but it could be worth looking into for you.
I use a file manager called x-plore which has a good few network based options I don't use and it has an open with option and usually appears in my share options.

They don't really sell usb-c headphones. You gotta use an adapter. I always used Sony earbuds. They cost 10 bucks. The adapteris a bit more expensive at 16. I know that seems steep but Anker is a good brand and their stuff lasts. The cheaper adapters don't.
Same here. I wouldn't bother to get it fixed since it doesn't disrupt the camera. These will help:
I think that's a Reddit thing. I recommend using Relay or any other Reddit-like app.

Yeah you need a Samsung 25-watt charger as the one that comes with the phone is only 15-watt. I bought this one and it supports super fast charging.
I haven't had any issues. I think the biggest adjustment I had to make when attaching the protector was just letting the protector adhere itself. What I mean by that is pressing from the middle outwards, and usually just letting it do its thing. Here's the link to the one I bought
Ah I see what you mean, one of my friends works in construction and this uses this case and hasn't had a single crack up to now https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08M3TXLV8/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_476MERZWN85Y0N3GS0MT
Heyy sorry to chase mate, did you get a chance to try custom icons? I'd suggest this pack as it looks really clean https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whicons.iconpack
The Goodlock/ThemePark app should have an Icons tab at the bottom with OneUI 4.0, reallllly hope it has it because OneUI 3.1.1 doesn't have it :(
Did you use this app? If so, also check the effective battery capacity. A new phone should be extremely close to 4500mAH (100%), anything less could be pre-owned or a refurb.
With such a late production date I'd highly doubt it's not brand new. Most likely some sloppy work with the finishing touches at the factory, or perhaps the seller opened it for inspection and then re-sealed the box.
[Accu Battery]
I use this to keep a check on all my android devices. Don't know how accurate the app is. I think it's okay.
You'll have to visit the app for a day or two to let the app get data on your charging and discharging cycles.
For manufacture date, please refer to this guide: https://technastic.com/check-manufacturing-date-samsung-devices/
either decode the serial number, or search the IMEI online.

I got a glossy plastic back for my s20 fe here. It has a gap on the bottom left which concerns me. I placed it down correctly.
I'm now looking for an OEM matte plastic back that mimics my old back.
There's Samsung's 10k mAh one with wireless charging. It super fast charges 1 phone at 25w cable charging. Fast charges 2 at once.
If you decide to switch, I recommend this one. My wife and I use it with a 3.5mm splitter to watch videos in bed while our baby sleeps. :)
USB Type C to 3.5mm Headphone and Charger Adapter
The fast charging isn't max, I think it's doing ~20W peak based on my battery monitor app, but it's close enough for my taste. Only annoying thing is the board inside the USB-C end doesn't have a smooth way to switch power supply from the phone to wall power, so if you unplug the charging cable, it pauses your audio.
Thanks for your links.
Yeah I've debloated the phone a lot with adb. I'll check Trackercontrol.org. This is the first phone I haven't rooted either.
That's why my question was about battery life. I'm willing to root it only if someone can prove that the Exynos mediocre battery life can be improved with some tool or anything.
The biggest issue with root is that you will lose OTA updates, meaning you'll have to install updates from Odin (and meaning you will also loose root and TWRP each time).
You can debloat without rooting: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tool-adb-appcontrol-v1-6-3-app-manager-debloat-tool-for-android.4147837/

So the S20 FE is the first phone that I haven't rooted, and I must say it's not a big deal.

This is what I bought on Amazon. Very slim.
Recently my phone fell as I was getting out of my truck.. 3' fall onto asphalt, landed on the corner of the phone.
Phone is fine, the corner on the cover was broken off! Phew!
For a solid, long lasting phone ring, I'm very impressed with this one (also on Amazon).. $9 for 1 ring but this one lasts!

I got this one: Galaxy S20 FE Case, Military... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08PD6DCNQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
it was cheap and I've dropped my phone at least 20 times with it and it still looks like new, so far.
[This](Spigen Monument Designed for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Case (2020) - Matte Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PC96GY5/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WVQ31B73E36QQ19KMSFB?psc=1) is the case I'm currently using. It's not super thin but it's not bulky either. I've really happy with it.
yeah it's not my taste too, I just linked what other user commented
I'd go with a clear case with reinforced corners (a must. this phone has a very sensitive body, it cracks way too easily on just 1 drop), something like this. I myself went with a more matte one, it makes the shine muted so I regretted not getting a clear case.
I bought this one: Anker. Don't get the apple one it doesn't have enough power with Android devices.
I am using this, also bought this cable at very cheap price of INR 90. Its braided and super fast charging is working fine.

Oh for sure, those flagships are getting pretty outrageous in price (both phones and gpus lol). One other thing I don't miss about my S10+ was the curved screen, which made screen protectors impossible to use. Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy your phone when it comes! This was the usb c to 3.5 adapter I bought https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082G48XGL/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_B8NH34TQEV82E606DK4Q
Mostly annoying when watching movies and someone in it speaks in low voice, you will need to listen very carefully to understand it with the samsung adapter I have. Then again, samsung site doesn't say the adapter is compatible with FE. I am planning yo buy this
I had the Samsung hard cover case for my s9 and it was and still is in perfect A1 condition, I use it now as my workphone and I have lost count of the times it has fallen on a concrete floor and suffered no ill.
I did not have the same faith for the S20Fe version when it arrived, and after only a week, I decided it needed something better. I have a caseology case now, which is lovely and slim but very protective on all four sides, the only downside is no kickstand!
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08C7CG497?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
You could always go with this tank -- I have one and it's serious. The built-in screen protector is in fact glass just FYI.
The only cases I've seen in leather are those wallet cases. If that's what you're looking for there's a ton to choose from. Here's an option if that's what you need...
you can much the same on an app that links to androids together

You just need something like that. Any USB c dock with HDMI should work fine.
I ordered an Anker adapter from Amazon. Anker has great products. It's been perfect for me.
I found this app that I'm downloading right now to test.
I'm not too optimistic because even the pro tools don't do well with phone photos - better to use raw because your phone is adding tons of post processing. That smoothing and processing gets enlarged and muddles the image.
Also resolution might not be the issue. Unless you're printing or doing major cropping, your phone resolution should be plenty.
allow me to present one of android's least known awesome apps
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kunkunsoft.rootservicedisabler
it's not what you asked for and REQUIRES ROOT, but with it you can switch off the part of some apps that do the ad services or disable the app as a whole. even system apps can be disabled but obviously you should be working against a safe to debloat list so you only disable apps that won't BREAK YOUR PHONE.
this is as good as using the pm uninstall command from ADB because that only disables packages too.
Felt like I needed to upgrade since my old phone was constantly heating up with moderate usage. But I definitely love the 120hz refresh rate. I tried using my s7 again and it felt to laggy and slow after experiencing the difference. And the upgraded storage of the s7's 32gb to FE's 128gb is a huge improvement. I constantly have to delete apps or pictures to make space and now I don't even have to worry about that for a while. This phone might be the reason I'll actually buy a micro SD card since I love it so much =)
Also got this cheap slim case since its something I prefer over bulky types. I got it for the budget and a 2 pack in 1 deal. But its not something to buy if protection is what your after but its very sturdy/slim and has a nice grip to it.
same brand but not this exact version, that link no longer exists on Amazon.
Material Islands it's a dynamic wallpaper app with minimalistic landscale backgrounds which change based on the time of day (sunset, sunrise, ect.) You can even pay a dollar or two to get live weather on your background as well!
I just ordered some S20 FEs for my parent's and got my dad a Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro case.
I have one on my S21 Ultra and I got my wife one for her iPhone 12 Pro. It's been my goto case since I got my Note 8 back in 2017.
I like these cases, as you can probably tell, because:
I got the official one and it's amazing. Way better than the other stuff I tried. Do know though it doubled in price 2 weeks ago since prime day pretty much sold so many s20 fe's.
