Fuck the athletic tape. Just use this stuff. https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Scholls-Moleskin-Padding-Count/dp/B007W9MGLI/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1526522185&sr=8-2&keywords=mole+skin
Stick it to the parts of your feet that rub against your boots, heel, big toe, second toe if you've got freaky feet. It's peel and stick and takes like 2.2 seconds to put on before you put on your socks. You can cut it to whatever shape you want to fit your foot better, but you don't need to be that accurate for it to work.
Leukotape. This stuff will change your life if you are backpacker or long distance climber. I spent three days wearing heavy mountaineering boots during a winter climb in the Sierras. 30+ miles, 9,000 vertical, and about 8 stream crossings and it stayed in place on my heels the entire time. It’s some kind of sorcery. https://www.amazon.com/Leukotape-Sports-Tape-15-Yd/dp/B00TSSRY1I
Risky click of the day right there.
EDIT: And since we're down that rabbit hole, for my money, Dad's Saws All is the winner here.
Here ya go my dude
I grew up in Goodyear, and I use to work as a valet at a country club in town. Sometimes we would do side jobs for some of the members, mostly parking cars during house parties. One night, I was in Paradise Valley working. It was dark and as I was running back up to the stand to get the next car when I tripped and fell into a pile of cholla. I was covered in the little bastards. Every square inch of my front-right side, the underside of my arm, my hands, up to my neck. Every square inch.
Now, it's my experience that the physical act of falling in and getting myself out of the cactus didn't hurt that much. At least that's how I remember it. No. The part that sucked was removing my clothes after I got home. Shirt, pants, socks, even my underwear were pinned to my body. I tried to take them off slowly, but after a few slight tugs at my shirt, I decided to get it over with. After I disrobed I took the hottest shower I could. I figured it would loosen up the pores, make the spines softer, anything. I still had to pull the tiny little bastards out. It was miserable.
To top it off -- for weeks after that night's mishap -- I found spines everywhere. Car, room, bathroom.
I will never forget how much that shit sucked. I think if you grow up in the desert you learn quickly there are certain things you learn to respect. The sun, water and wildlife, because it may not necessarily kill you but if you fuck around they will make your life a living hell.

I’m not entirely certain how it works, but I found an article about the mod and who’s making it. The modding community for Fallout 4 is incredible. One of the best mods I can think of is America Rising, which allows you to join the Enclave.
This gets posted pretty regularly. Every time I see it I think of the Ren and Stimpy episode, "Ren's Toothache". This picture is the Nerve Ending Fairy nightmare portrayed in this episode. Classic, one of the funniest episodes ever.

My point was, for anyone who may receive this in any slightly sexual double entendre fashion...it is not.
Here's my favorite because of the brush on glue applicator. Amazon.com: 12pcs Ingrown Toenails Patch Correction Tool Kit Set Ingrown Toe Nail Pedicure Elastic Patch Straightening Clip Brace with Glue: Home Improvement Disregard the bad reviews since what happens is people get frustrated when they don't follow the directions and the strips don't stay on. It happens with the expensive Curve Correct brand, it happens with all of them sometimes. I've ordered like 8 packs of extra strips (they're only like $1.33) just to have them for others. Amazon.com: Flybloom Toenail Ingrown Correction Sticker Nail Repair Kit Patch Foot Care Paronychia Treatment Corrector Patch: Beauty Be warned they take quite a while to get here, but it's worth the wait. My advice: prep the toenail (must be filed/roughed up), very clean and dry, and use the smallest dot of glue you can get on the strip. Hold the strip down at least 3 minutes to make sure it bonds. Then do the same on the other side. The biggest mistake people make is using too much glue and not giving it time to bond. You can use 2 strips on one nail at first if you have a severe case. I did that, had one near the base of the nail and one right above it. Feel free to lmk if you have any issues, I don't mind giving advice on this. I know how much those ingrown toenails hurt.
No problem, hope it helps! Keep in mind you can rip the tape long-ways (vertically) to create different widths if necessary.
Also if you like salve, Joshua tree climbing salve is great for healing skin imo. I've tried a few different salves and that one is my favorite. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004YAUJ8U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_04TVFbRGTSPKS
