Great design. I first seen this on Dark Heresy book, I think it is on the final book on the Apostasy Gambit, the Chaos Commandment
The story is about The Acolytes (the players) have to carry the book to defeat the final boss, I think a resurrected but possessed Saint Drusus. All of the Iron Hands has been eliminated, and it is up to the Acolytes to finish the job.
Do you have a source or artist name for this piece? I ask because we require that you at least try to find them.
If you haven't yet, try a reverse Google image search by clicking the little camera here and entering the image's URL.
IG is one of the more expensive armies to run, if you just want to paint and enjoy the lore than i recommend this Start Collecting Kit, it has a nice mix of IG models.. Also if you dont intend to play competitivley you can use 3rd party models like Bolt Action, this gives you a wider range of models and a lot of IG regiments are gonna be in WW1/WW2 era gear anyway.
If you want to build a playable army though your best bet is gonna be Ebay, and be forewarned IG tends to have the highest highs and lowest lows on the table top. Certain editions they are amazing other editions you will never win a match.
It's this Omnibus. The Sequel of the novel follows the story of what happens>! to the rest of the squad after Larn dies.!<
A Black Templar from the Damnation Crusade comicbook published by BOOM! Studios. Unfortunatly, it's not printed anymore and can only be found easily in less-than-legal forms.
Thank you for posting, but I had to remove it.
This piece was easily findable in a reverse Google Image search (click the camera icon here then paste the image's URL). It's the fourth entry.
The piece is Black Library: Blood And Fire by Kai Lim. Lim's DA username is also in the OP's URL.
You are free to repost with the URL I provided, however.
