>Does anyone have experience with playing just the full basic list from one initiation box vs. another army/list from a different one without counting out points, switching gear and changing things in general?
They are fairly balanced even against each other. The issue does come with Coldfront being 2 sectorial armies so it involves fireateams where as the others do not.
>Which missions would you advise to play?
>Is there a good summary somewhere or a site to get an overview to choose the best suitable ones?
You could go for a split complementary scheme and use a bright blue-green for the glowy bits. It may help to darken up the blue a bit though, something like a Dark Prussian Blue or similar.
If you've got an idea of the colors you do want to use but are unsure of what else to pair with them, I always find it useful to mess around with the color wheel
(Also, great stuff! Love this color scheme on O-12)
Then you need to find a scheme for the cloth parts, maybe different shades of red or something like that.
One thing i heard once, red and green are complementary so they should go well together, but too much red and green is christmas, so have that in mind when making the color scheme :P
Helpful web tool for cases like this.
Feldherr's foam off of Amazon doesn't actually come with the bottom piece. For example:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BONZE9Y/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_rMdexbBH86VD5
All you need is a similarly sized cookie sheet, and you could adhere then together. It would fit in one of their bags nicely.
A couple friends and I have this case https://www.amazon.com/Feldherr-MINI-PLUS-miniatures-Figure/dp/B00JDE1OF4
It works well for S2 stuff, and cutting the foam to fit bigger stuff is ok. I've run out of room though lol, cutting out a space for an avatar and 2 xeodrons, a charontid, and the drone remotes eliminated about 12 slots already. I would consider the 32 minis+tanks foam layout if you have a lot of bigger minis.
I had also settled on a bag and foam from https://www.krmulticase.com but I had to pay back my friend so we went with the feldherr cases.
E: Last time I post an amazon link to reddit ...
How about the official app? (for Android at least, i don't think it's on iOS)
FWIW: there's a couple of recommendations to get a circular punch - it's worth noting that the craft store lever punches work well if you're happy with thin card for your tokens - as with the old N3 operation boxes, for example. But past cereal-box thickness punches have trouble punching cleanly and it can be difficult to press them hard enough. In the worst cases they can get jammed, and they usually don't even accept card over 1.5mm or so (~1/16") thick.
If you want to make thicker card tokens from scratch (as opposed to - say - circle-punching labels and sticking them to existing round tokens) you're better off with an arch punch (e.g. one these: https://www.zoro.co.uk/shop/hand-tools/punches-wad-and-hole/25mm-1inch-wad-hollow-punch/p/ZT1001853X) which you can whack with a mallet over a self-healing cutting mat on a concrete floor for good results, or a compass-cutter. I'm a big fan of this one, which doesn't leave a little hole at the centre of the circle: https://www.amazon.co.uk/NT-Cutter-Y010110-Circle-Punch/dp/B0016V7NZM/ref=asc\_df\_B0016V7NZM/
Sorry for the Amazon link, but this is what I'd recommend. Physical copy of the rules, plus a book that is pure lore.
The Modiphius stuff is for the RPG though, and may be more detailed, but don't quote me on that
Just the ones found on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Magnets-Refrigerator-Cylinder-Whiteboard-Miniature/dp/B097MJLY51
Perfect thanks a ton. I notcied Amazon was not big on selling these. Anywhere else I can find a good deal? https://www.amazon.com/Infinity-Operation-Icestorm-PanOceania-Starter/dp/B00MQ2SZOI/ref=cm\_cr\_arp\_d\_product\_top?ie=UTF8
I second this. I bought this one for $6 and it's probably clipped close to 100 minis without damage and it does it well
The motorcycle is a Hotwheels covenant ghost from halo. Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/Hot-Wheels-Covenant-Ghost-Vehicle/dp/B01IXZYA4U
The shasvastii models is one of the combi-rifles one that come with the shas starter. I had to strech his legs a bit to fit.
I've used that link as well as the basic CB page to print my own as well.
Something I did to make the ones I printed feel better and last long was print them on card stock, cut them with a 1-inch paper puncher, then add epoxy stickers on top to protect the flimsy paper. They turned out pretty great.
to OP - Personally I think the ones that come in the CB Operations boxes and scenery packs are solid! If you're trying to save yourself the money from buying whole boxes like that, then the option I described is very cheap (we're talking $20-25 total, cheaper if you happen to already have cardstock or a 1 inch hole puncher on hand). If you want something that looks and feels premium, the Warsenal ones are pretty highly touted.
Yeah, I figured there must be a good reason. I also suffer from “poor circle cutting skills”.
Have you considered like a scrapbooking punch? EK tools Circle Punch, 1-Inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C90WM14/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RHPGSD8Y932T8KRVRB6D
If your card is REALLY thick it still may not work but I’d think this would be faster than raising and lowering your crank setup for each token. Especially if you find a punch that has a window allowing you to line it up easily.
I made a bunch of these Dice Cube ad shells and they have always been a hit at the table. Bought some cheap dice boxes and just printed on either normal paper or cardstock can't remember. Work great as some filler terrain on the table as well.
Yup! I used these but there might be better deals for the same thing. Also recommend a 1-inch circle punch if you don't have one, I picked one up for a few bucks at Michael's

Pretty vague so far
I use a hand drill with attachments now.
uxcell PCB Drill Bits 0.9mm... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZWKRTNW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
0.9 seems the right size if you are using paper clips to pin. The tiny bits feed into a chuck.
QWORK Drill Chuck Converter, 2... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SMBVJQT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This combo works better than the pin drill I used before.
I'm a new player too and the there is a lot of complexity in the shooting - skill, ranges, mods, etc. I was overwhelmed so I made an app to help me remember the rules and do the math. It's called Infinity FtF if anyone wants to check it out.
I mean if you have some quiet hours for hobby time you can always print a sheet and
use transparent discs to glue the token on.
It looks nice enough. ( better then the mini arts tokens I have tbh)
It's the old Naga with Multi Sniper Rifle. The Naga model from the Coldfront boxset was kind of an update for it. I believe it's been out of production for a bit. You can probably find it on eBay occasionally; though it looks like this store on Amazon still has one?
$12 - This is pretty nice. You can just use parchment paper for extra sheets.

Do yourself a favor, download infinity mobile, and bookmark the wiki.
If you just want to use the wiki, fine, but the mobile app links all the special rules from the wiki. So you start looking at a profile in the app and see 'morpho-scan' you can just click on it to see the entry.
Infinity wiki... probably the best wiki out there, including video games. This thing is EXTENSIVE. use the search.
Www.Infinitythegame.com if you want the desktop version (resources tab in menu)
> Infinity is very proxy friendly even in most tournaments. Don't feel like you have to buy every model at first, profiles are all free online, can try before you buy!
I think I've used most of my random modern and near future minis as proxies at one point or another in Infinity.
OP, if you're going as Haqq, these make great proxies for ghulams if you can get them at clearance prices somewhere.
Or, you can do my research for me!
Thanks! That's a lot of help. I do have a TON of old Warhammer stuff which is unpainted which I will be practicing on for sure.
From what I've seen Airbrushing on primers is simply the best way to prime, better than cans and better than brushing the bottle primers on normally. And, like you said it would helps a lot with base coating too. I doubt I'll worry about doing any detailing at all with an airbrush. No Plaid for me.
This kit seems to be good according to reviews, and it would be nice to have it bought all-in-one. Also, I have a balcony to spray on, so I might just need a mask, plus a cardboard box to keep my area clean.
I'll think on it this weekend. Thanks again!
https://www.amazon.com/Tamiya-300087030-Masking-Tape-6mm/dp/B0000WRZZQ/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1479390004&sr=8-7&keywords=tamiya+masking+tape Use this / they also have a tape for curves. It helps a ton and has low adherence so you don't have to worry about pulling paint up. I really enjoy the profile and the model itself looks cool to me but it's all preference. I do have to say it was the easiest tag to put together that I've done.
Just the Master's kit from Amazon. That's really all you need, besides maybe some accessories. The kit comes with the compressor, hose, and three brushes (though the G-22 is all you really need; the other two are useless).
Only other thing you need is the cleaning kit with a squeeze bottle, and maybe a tiny mixing jar for diluting paints.
This is the setup that Aaron Lovejoy uses (friend of mine, fairly well-known pro painter), and always recommends.
I have this one and I didn't like it very much, the slots a little small for my infinity minis and I had to force a couple into their spots. I bought an old BattleFoam Pack 432 and it works fantastic. I suppose it's personal preference though.
While we are talking about Feldherr have any of you used this one? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008VO7PXW/ref=s9_simh_gw_p21_d0_i4?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=0YXHG2KYNEEY8XG1S089&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2079475242&pf_rd_i=desktop Does it work well for infinity miniatures?
