No, just one.
But you can set up the email address to be a shared email list (like a google group) and then multiple people can subscribe to the list and send/receive emails. We've tested this functionality at it seems to work pretty well. Would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Now, here's the thing. IFTTT uses reddit api. However reddit does have the Api to do this. It's just that IFTTT doesn't have said ability to parse, understand, and act upon that. I don't think a user can create a custom trigger either.
Long story short, it's not reddit's problem. It's that site's.
But if you can host it or find a host, I can easily write up a simple script that will notify you each time there is a report.
Edit: according to this an api for ifttt itself is in the works so that developers can create custom triggers and actions. However at this time it's not available.
/u/Chtorrr veterinarian here who has driven 8+ hours with my cats. Few things for you
Since reddit already has a field for email, that should work fine. Or integrate with this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2&hl=en
(Discord does 2FA via this)
>Last.fm
>In March 2012, the music website Last.fm was hacked and 43 million user accounts were exposed. Whilst Last.fm knew of an incident back in 2012, the scale of the hack was not known until the data was released publicly in September 2016. The breach included 37 million unique email addresses, usernames and passwords stored as unsalted MD5 hashes.
>Breach date: 22 March 2012
>Date added to HIBP: 20 September 2016
>Compromised accounts: 37,217,682
>Compromised data: Email addresses, Passwords, Usernames, Website activity
Reddit uses Markdown. Here's a good overview: https://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax
On Mac, I like the Macdown editor. You can fiddle around with any markdown preview editor to test output.
I find "be nice" has been a good catchall rule.
Awesome. I haven't read that one, which is something I can say for about 35 Discworld books.
At first I thought you were referring The Art of Making Money, which a true story about a counterfeiter named Art.
IFTTT can do it, but it appears that specific RSS feed isn't supported. You could possibly find a way to submit that feed to another feed reader, then use that feed instead.
Empty Blog.
They're "our team" looks like it has links to twitter or other things, but they're not real
and of course, the images of people are stock photos:
Don't just test your new CSS on a test subreddit. Use something like TamperMonkey to preview the CSS live on your subreddit. Some things that might run smoothly on on a test subreddit might never be testable unless you use a live environment.
So basically no porn and no shitposting.
It's honestly worse than here, if they actually enforce their rules as stated.
Change your account password, maybe your emails' too. If you use the same password for a lot of things, it's possible that the password you use has been leaked by a service you use. You can check this from https://haveibeenpwned.com/
Also probably a good idea to do some virus scans.
What if you owned a subreddit for the notorious hackers of Defcon? We already get shit on by the media
http://www.zdnet.com/article/undercover-nbc-dateline-reporter-bolts-from-defcon-2007/
looking for reasons to crucify us. And there's always a few people in any group who can make mischief; so what do I have to do to protect the interests of the 99.9%? Not allow linking to other subreddits? If that is a requirement, why does reddit allow it at all?
We're the official subreddit of Defcon; I want it to stay up during the conference. The con site gets DDoSed pretty regularly when the con is running; it would be nice to not have to babysit here all weekend.
Nothing native, and you're after r/modhelp as this place is meant for mod > admin support
IFTTT is the first thing you need to be looking at.
redditisfun also has a notification service if you use that app too.
How exactly would you go about making CSS 'easier' anyway,
CSS is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it
Codeacademy has a pretty good course on it for those interested
Hey Calisthenis, you could try setting up an RSS reader like appropriate-username said, or try using something like this RSS to email IFTTT app. You can get the RSS links that include your private access token in your account preferences. Hope this helps!
Been working on learning Japanese before my trip this Oct, but I've been using Duolingo and I started to struggle early on. Gotta find me some better technology to use.
I've been into the emulation/piracy/ROM scene for decades. A lot of ROM sites (literal piracy) are allowed to continue to exist for a myriad of reasons. Generally speaking, here's the fine line that you need to walk:
This is tangential, but still kinda neat:
reddit allows 500kB of data on a wiki page. The entirety of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is only 412kB; you could dump the whole thing in a wiki page and not run out of space. Yet, some subreddits manage to do it. Some subreddit Usernotes are longer than books. O.o
Modsoup works with toolbox removal reasons. It's not a fully featured app, it's only a modqueue app. It's not perfect, but better than the official app (not a high bar).
You don't actually need a custom bot for this and can simply use your RSS feeds
https://www.reddit.com/prefs/feeds/
and plug your modmail feed into something like https://ifttt.com and then forward that to your email / chat client etc.
Also helps searching for usernames / keywords in the future.

It's only a violation once mods complain here en masse, or when the media takes note.
Same thing was discussed over on Tildes today.
If the dimensions and file sizes are correct, you can try another browser (chrome seems to work best), another computer (someone once found their work computer didn't work but their home one did), ask another mod to try if you have one.
If you want to, upload the images here https://imgbb.com/ and share the link and I'll check them, and test them on one of my test subs.
>Which would be even more reason to have 2FA as they know their users are being targeted. Also, Reddit is not one of the top 10 sites visited in the world, it is 32. You are thinking top visited sites in the US.
You're right. My bad.
>It is especially annoying that rather than say "we are working on implementing this new security feature as our site is not as secure as it could be", they just tell you to use an email account with 2FA, which only helps secure one method of obtaining entry to someone's reddit account.
I think it has more to do with their budget. IIRC Reddit is still in the red. Though I am only guessing that's the reason why things are slow. They really aren't that big of a team compaired to how much traffic they get.
>Reddit implementing 2FA will help a lot more as even if someone has access to your email address, they would still need your authenticator to log in.
Word. I personally use huge passwords. Someone would have to conpletly pwn my system to find out my passwords. I think I have 30+ 24 character passwords.
What to do after you've been banned?
- clear your cache/cookies
- use a VPN or restart your modem to get a new IP
- use a user-agent changer plugin/add-on for your browser
- if you are still banned again very fast or just paranoid, try https://browserleaks.com/ to test what still could help the reddit algorithms to connect your alt account with the banned one or use tor-browser (most anon you can get, without getting rid of javascript)
As far as i know, a mod has to report your alt-account and the reddit algo checks if some metadata (e.g. could be IP, installed fonts, display size, installed addons, OS, etc.) that your connection is leaking can be connected to the old account. The funny part is, that even if your username is point on reffering to your banned account, if your metadata does not connect it, you still should be in a safe spot since no humans at reddit check those reports.
As an occasional raddle.me user, I'd disagree. I mean, most of the content on that site is very political, but that is its original and current purpose. Though, that content is in fact incredibly left wing, usually communist or anarchist, which you may not think is any better than right wing content.
I understand that migrations are not possible with communities of this size, and that the community as a whole may not be happy moving to such a space. I'm merely trying to counter your arguments as a theory.
Also, as a sidenote, raddle is part of the fediverse, is entirely FOSS, and has the stated objective of "[giving] the people control over their own community, with full transparency and accountability between mods, admins and users". (https://raddle.me/wiki/history)
It's a platform I'd love to see rise as an alternative to Reddit.
You probably just need positive comment karma. You currently have -15. I don't think I'd go asking things you could easily Google, at least until you have some more karma to take the hit. Seems like low effort. Searching for video software? It's best to explain what you want to do, and then people could suggest applications with those features. If you're just broke, there's Windows Movie Maker (for windows 7), but this isn't the sub for that. Searching Reddit, a lot of people recommend Da Vinci Resolve
In the past when I saw a problem it was cookies. Right now I am having zero problems with the chat counter.
I think Slack and Discord have notifications. I usually have a browser window open so I can just see it in the tab. I turned off audio notifications.

Information helps everybody. For 6 days, I changed some of the links in our (/r/PickAnAndroidForMe) sidebar to shortlinks (I used this app) that collected some data (click rate, browser, country, OS - you can see the data here if interested). It was really useful - knowing who our demographics are makes prioritizing certain Wiki pages (especially in our case) easier. For the infrequently clicked pages I'll just go through and updates bits and pieces, while the highly visited ones will get more attention. If not for these shortlinks, I would have had no idea and spent equal time on all of them.
