I’ve been (foolishly) buying/ selling things on OfferUp and Craigslist for over a year without using or seeing a counterfeit pen. Recently, I went to buy something for $10 and the lady pulls one out! I felt so dumb because I never thought to use one sooner, but glad that I finally got the idea to get one.
I just picked this one up from Staples, they priced matched to amazon and 10% of the difference.

I'm 20 too so I know how ya feel about not wanting to work for a company or place but sometimes we gotta cut edges as young adults and deal with it. Ya know?
I've had the OnePlus 3 for about a year now and it's definitely a great phone so I'm sure the 5T is even better!
Also around the time I got the phone I started college and began a labor job at a pretty well known shipping company that had a station in my town. I'd prefer to not to work there and instead do something such as investing as a job but the sucky thing for people our age is that we've barely got enough money to invest and make a profit.
Now everyone should start investing as soon as possible, but many don't have enough to have an income solely from investing.
I'm no finance professional but I definitely have an interest in learning more. I've heard many tell people our age to invest in ourselves such as with reading books related to investing or teaching ourselves skills before we try investing in the stock market.
Currently I'm teaching myself how to program and although it's slow I'm sure I can begin picking up some jobs within the next year since I'd much rather have a job in something I'm interested in like technology. I also bought the book and began reading "The Intelligent Investor" which is a pretty well known book in the money world.
There are plenty of other areas you could learn and earn money in but I know the tech industry is a popular job opportunity for those willing to learn.
Good luck!
If yo want to be rich, study the rich and learn how they handle their money and the way they think. Hit the books and read amazing books like Think & Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Total Money Make Over, The Millionaire Next Door, The Millionaire Mind, And so many more
Hey man, first of all congrats on saving money at a young age, seems like you have a good head on your shoulders. Now here is the gut punch: you aren't ready to invest.
The reason is really simple, and it is that investing $2,000 is going to get you nowhere. Even if you managed to get a 10% yield on that money you are going to grow your investment by a whopping $200. It simply is not worth the risk. Just think, in a couple years you are going to be entering the workforce, or going to post-secondary. Education is expensive, so is moving out for the first time.
If I were you I would save as much money as you can in a highly liquid account and just be patient. Before you start thinking about investing you really should get a handle on what kind of money you will be earning and what your expenses will be.
If you want to learn how to invest use a stock trading simulator. If you really want to see why I am trying to steer you away from investing 2-3k try investing only 2-3k of play money on a simulator and see what happens.
Also, read alot, read "The Intelligent Investor", take a basic securities course or class, meet with successful investors and get their advice, etc etc. Good luck

And wait until you grow up
This book is not based on bullshit like dropshipping or investing
You can get it in ebook format quite easily by searching for it
It's not money. It's being sold by the "American Art Classics" store on Amazon, so presumably, it's art?
I'm a bit confused by the seller's need to describe their artwork as " SAME LOOK, FEEL AND SIZE as real US money currency", but I'm sure it's fine.
This article is sooooo full of shit it's not funny. E.g. 2k to install a level 2 home charger? I've got one of these: BESENERGY Level 2 EV Charger 40 Amp with NEMA 6-50 Plug 20 feet Cord 240V J1772 Portable Charging Cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MT364K4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_i_592T5HSJ37XHQ4162Z7Z
$268, free Prime shipping for a 9.6kw(mid range) charger + another $150 for an electrician to install a 240W outlet where I wanted it. What is he on to get 2k for a charger.
Or how about this: the study uses 1.5m as the time to plug in you car at home every single time, for the purpose of calculating time cost. It takes me literally 3s. Did they try to plug in the car while on shrooms!?
It just goes on and on like this....
That's because that someone went to a dealership which will only replace the entire battery pack with a brand new one, throwing away the good cells, the controller, the battery case etc. The actual cells for eg. A Prius are dirt cheap: https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Module-Hybrid-Toyota-Panasonic/dp/B0160BEIJ6 you can replace them DIY, or there are independent repair shops that will replace all the bad cells in you battery for ~ 1/5 th of the dealer price, most of them can send out a technician to replace the bad cells at your house, for maximum convenience.

Here are a few suggestions:
Depending on your location, you can try to mow lawns or shovel snow in neighborhood for money.
You could try baby sitting, pet sitting, or dog walking, if any of those are available to you.
There is a site called Swagbucks where you can earn money by doing surveys, watching videos, playing games, shopping, discovering things, etc. You earn swagbucks (SB) that you can then withdraw to PayPal, Amazon Gift Cards, or other gift cards. If you sign up with this link you will earn a 300 SB bonus after earning your first 300 SB. (1 SB = $0.01, 100 SB = $1) You won't earn a living off of it or anything, but you can earn a decent amount each month.
Other possible ideas include tutoring or getting an actual job. Starting a YouTube channel is another idea, but less likely to succeed. If you are able to, working for DoorDash/Instacart/Uber type companies is also an option.

If you are attending in-person school, you can buy candy/chips in bulk and then try to resell them individually.

Swagbucks you can make money by doing survey. You won’t make a ton of money but still you can make a couple of bucks while waiting the bus. Subscribe and get 10$ bonus. You can redeem for Amazon gift card, PayPal gift card. You can also take a look at beer money.
This seems to have a decent amount of background on skrill, aka moneybookers: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/is-it-worth-the-switch-what-paypal-users-ought-to-know-about-skrill/
I know very little about them, so I can't really comment. Whatever little bits I just read about them doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence though.
You probably already thought about it, but bitcoin might be a decent option in your case.

that's 2 for 2. thank you for playing.
If you want a bank, try simple. https://www.simple.com Otherwise look at national credit unions, are you wanting a physical branch office, why the need for "national"? My credit union is located in Florida, but I can bank with them anywhere, more so now with mobile deposits.
Seriously?
7 upvotes for a shit post that pasted a blog entry from https://www.mint.com/blog/how-to/30-free-ebooks-to-learn-everything-you-want-to-know-about-personal-finance/ , and lost all the links in the process, making the post completely worthless?

As long as it isn’t about someone’s salary other than that making money and helping people be smart with it is a very open topic for example this is a best seller “Dave Ramsay’s Total Money Makeover” at least here in the states
The Total Money Makeover: Classic Edition: A Proven Plan for Financial Fitness https://www.amazon.com/dp/1595555277/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_ND4VFbHTQ9V5H

You are right about those reviews tho! Now I'm a bit skeptical as well! But I will keep trying because it really didn't take too much time
How is paying off your debt and saving over time a scam? Yes the site has many resources but you can get the gist of what it’s saying to people. I just bought the book on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Financial-Peace-Revisited-Chapters-Marriage/dp/0670032085
Your motivation to save has to exceed your desire to spend. Start by setting some goals for yourself based on what you truly desire most in your life. You may need to take some time for yourself to figure out what is you really want to achieve in life. Right now, without a compass and road map to your goals, you have nothing to work towards and no incentive to save. I recommend reading "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill and "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki
You should read The Number - But essentially it's a personal question that you need to answer about your lifestyle, how healthy you are, what you'd like to do in your retirement, and how much you you can live off/with/etc.
You can use PerkTV(less stable recently) or Checkpoints (refferal code dromano12 for 50 free points) both apps will run continuously or nearly continuously on cheap android phones, and you can make up to $1 per device per day with these so you would need a lot of devices to reach that goal. Another cool app that I have found is DrizzleSMS which came out for the play store 5 days ago and has the great idea to reward you as you text. I highly recommend it. You should be able to earn up to $10 per month installing the app that takes only 30 seconds to download and I personally like it better than the stock texting app. It has two themes dark and light for personal preference ref nonref (it is however only android compatible).
