Honestly I see no reason to get the GPRO over the G305 at this point.
the Hero sensor tied with the 3366
the G305's a wireless S-M hand mouse!
you can get it to sub-90g with a few easy mods (I have some AAA-to-AA converters from my Atheris days)
-the batteries last for months even if you leave it on; no charging ala G903/G703/G403.
Granted, I would've loved a wireless G303, but I'm really, really impressed by this thing. +A Logitech.
I copied /u/cloutette and used 5.5mm silicone wedding ring bands on the original scroll wheel. Ring size 9.5 fits the same as stock. Here is a link to the ones I got https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06WLJ4FTB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

can't because our political stance, social and medical situation are such a joke and there's no prospect of becoming better anytime soon
You seen this one?
Anyways, in a nutshell the reason according to logitech is R&D.
edit: here's the explanation from logitech
>The mechanical engineering and manufacturing are the same or more complicated than the G900/G903. It has 1mm walls on the main body. It takes specialized equipment and expertise to make these things. We also spent a ton of time and resources on development with many many people across the world, including over 50 esports players. That combined with all the features and the quality of materials make it a premium product.

> The mouse is an Eluktronics Luminosa (prime link) which is my new favorite. It comes with a paracord cable, omron switches, and a 3389 sensor. Super affordable. It is 94g though; however it came with extra feet in the box so I may tear it apart and get it down 10-15 grams!
I honestly don't know how Bloody sell any mice. Like how do you even find these? All their mice are horrible. Do yourself a favour and get a G203. It's as cheap or cheaper than most Bloody mice and it's better in every category

They already said they are fixing it. And it is blown way out of proportion. It is on average .015 seconds slower than the zowie. 3/200th's of a second slower. Nobody in the entire universe can detect that.
What I can detect is the 30 extra grams of weight the zowie has, gross coating, unreasonably stiff clicks, lack of software in 2019 (skoll has onboard profiles so you do not need it), skoll has better mouse feet, skoll has better mouse wheel, skoll has 300% better side buttons.

...but yeah, totally stay away from it because of a 3/200th's of a second delay on a click, that is getting fixed. Whew, what a dealbreaker.
Sorry if this is aggressive, zowie has been overhyped and for no reason on this board for years and it's begginning to become mindless brand fanboying at this point. It's akin to Harley and BMW owners now.
Even ignoring the skoll, if you want this shape avoid zowie and get a talentech ember. Better than zowie in every single way, although the skoll is better because of the light weight.

Guessing that it is this mouse based on the markings (triple left stripe, grooves under the dpi button, side screws). There doesn't seem to be any drivers and the distributor's website is nonexistent, so all the information seems to only be on that Amazon page or on some other mouse sharing the OEM shell and internals.
edit: distributor's site
Releases on U.S. Amazon on July 29: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VCKBH6M/
RGB version supposedly coming a few weeks after based on their Tweets.
There won't be a wired version of the G Pro Wireless shape afaik, only a refresh of the original shape, using the HERO sensor and a rubber wire this time...
A weird decision for sure, considering that the G102/G203 exists.
With the G305s pending release I thought I'd give out some quick info on how to get the G305's weight to sub-90g in the easiest, most hassle-free way possible. I can confirm that this method works. More info can be found in image descriptions.
EDIT: At 77g with no cover and a fingertip grip this mouse becomes absolutely ridiculous.

https://www.amazon.com/Mouse-Skatez-Logitech-Laser-replacement/dp/B00V8IV33Q $7 right here for ya, you can get better ones for a tad bit more though.
For my fellow Canadians, pre-order is also available at Amazon Canada for $112.99.
A surprisingly great currency conversation rate. Usually it tends to be an extra 3-5% higher due to exchange fees.
Probably not something I would buy. Mice like this one are usually private labeled from about 30 different designs all coming from the same factory. They use the bare minimum as far as parts and components and 90% of the appeal comes from the photos. No mention of what sensor is being used, switches contained, or even if there is any on-board memory.
For a little more $ you can find a decent Logitech that will give you a MUCH better experience overall.
Logitech G203 https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07YN82X3B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZPHH111NSJ4VW63SPY7F
That is a Hiraliy F300 with a 3310 in it instead of a 3325. The F300 is one of the better Chinese knockoffs, available for $17 from Amazon. This one seems extremely expensive for what you're getting.
The switches don't "die" technically.
Basically even a fresh new switch produces several clicks due to something called bouncing. But every mouse has an algorythm that mitigates that. But as switch wears out the metal spring inside it gradually loses elasticity and the bouncing period becomes longer and that algorythm cannot mitigate that anymore. Inb4 "why can't you make an algorythm that would account for that" - if you make it like that it'll cause much more button lag and not gonna actuate on light short clicks at all.
Well, this is very simplified but that's how it is in general.
Here's a pic to illustrate what i'm saying: https://www.safaribooksonline.com/library/view/making-embedded-systems/9781449308889/httpatomoreillycomsourceoreillyimages935490.png
Bungie is something like this. Also, the EC3 is noticeably smaller than the EC2, but really only in length. The grip width is about the same. Its lighter, too.
It's a generic OEM mouse.

Gamdias has one with a better sensor (3330), although I wouldn't buy it at the current price on Amazon, considering it has gone as low as half that.
Hi /u/MrDongji,
the rattle in the video actually comes from the mouse wheel. He already did a test in this thread that suggest it is not the lens. The mouse wheel rattle in the video is not normal. Here a video of a Kone Pure from the same batch: https://sendvid.com/wl98mttr
You will have a terrible time with it.
USB 3 hubs reduce your effective range by over 50% because of the insane amount of interference they cause. 2.4GHz transmitters and USB3 ports do not play well with each other.
USB timing and packet drops because of shared connection.
Multiple dongles so close to each other is not ideal to start with.
Ironically a cheaper USB 2.0 hub will be a lot better for this purpose (see if you can find one like this from a reliable brand) : https://www.amazon.com/DTECH-Cable-Charging-Transfer-Splitter/dp/B07B4YBR3Z/

It might be small for you. But who knows, you might like it.
Yes, 36.5 is smaller than 36.8, hence it takes less time to reach the same point in game. (doing a 360) Therefore, acceleration.

Negative acceleration would be the other way around.
Hi /u/ergergegin,
seems like you got a really bad product. Just tried out 2 in the office from the same batch that didn't sounded like that. It's also the mouse wheel and not the lens (https://sendvid.com/wl98mttr).
Sorry about that and you should definitely return it. Also got feedback from our team in Taiwan that they are already working on keeping the failure rate down.
That one claims to have a 3325 which is a pretty good one. I dont think the other models on that same page mention the sensor. I also know nothing from experience about the mouse.
G403 Wireless seems like the perfect fit, however, it is a bit over your budget. Amazon has it for $79.99.
The Logitech mouse you linked is just their basic corded office mouse. Nothing special about it. It's not one of their gaming mice.
Either of these would be far superior to what you've looked at so far, for just a few dollars more:
Logitech G302, $25 from Amazon
Steelseries Rival 100, $25 from Wal-Mart, in an odd green/tan color scheme
The price has dropped from €179 to €155 on Amazon Spain, still due in stock tomorrow:
https://www.amazon.es/Logitech-Pro-Gaming-Wireless-Paquete/dp/B07G5SF48Z
I think the €179 price was a mistake. €155 (which includes tax) makes more sense given that it costs $150 in the US.
This mouse is $9 on Amazon. LINK. Same internals just rebranded. I bought one just for fun.
Sensor: Even moderate swipes will not track. The Avago 5050 Sensor is not even remotely suitable for gaming.
Feet: Extremely thin and the plastic shell will drag on anything but a hard pad.
Cable: The rubber cable is fine, but the stress relief sits so low causing the cable to drag on the mouse pad. The Xtrfy M4 also has this issue.
Weight: It has 2 weights inside of it that total ~21g. With them removed it weighs around 90g.
Buttons:
Main Buttons: They are heavier than Logitech clicks but lighter than FK clicks, similar to the M4. There is no side wobble like on the M4 though due to the fact that they are not separate from the shell
Side Buttons: They are very high up on the mouse just like the M4 and you have to move your thumb inconveniently far to access them.
Shape: Identical to the M4. Or should I say, the M4 is identical to this one. As others have said, it is very deceiving that Xtrfy said that they created this shape and want to patent it. When they said "designed in Sweden," maybe they meant that their CAD guy (in Sweden) opened up the software and added some holes and a strip for RGB.
That being said, I do like the shape. I don't love it. But it provides some palm support for claw grip, and the narrow front (~55mm) feels like it gives more control than if it was wider.
It should be stable, but trying it on a web browser is not gonna give accurate results. Try with this program instead: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Mouse-Rate-Checker.shtml
Otherwise try on another computer and see if you get different results.
Recently got my Razer Orochi V2 mouse, and loved the weight of the mouse without the battery. But depending on the battery you use can determine whether you will feel at home with the mouse, or if it suddenly feels like you're moving an anvil (/s)
Any who, after some quick weight testing of which battery to use for the lightest amount of added weight, I ultimately found that the AAA rechargeable lithium battery by Tenevolt was the lightest at 8 grams, ultimately totaling the Orochi V2 mouse weight to ~65g-66g.
Here's the link to the AAA rechargeable lithium batteries that I used!
*Disclaimer: You may or may not find a lighter AAA battery. But to my knowledge, lithium is the lightest kind of element a battery could be made of, and have the benefit of being rechargeable.
Just wanted to post a quick PSA for anyone who might be waiting on premade grips for the Orochi V2 that using lizard skins grips are dead simple to cut yourself for this mouse. Being able to remove the shell makes the outlines on the buttons and the sides extremely easy to trace on the sticker paper. I'm normally incredibly bad at creating stuff like this, but my grips actually came out pretty well even though they're definitely not perfect.
I have rather large hands and the Orochi V2 is a nearly perfect shape for my fingertip grip, but without grips on it I was frequently losing control of the mouse when I'd do things like press side buttons or pull the mouse down towards my wrist. The grips increase the hand feel and the stability by order of magnitude.
If you're interested, the grips can be found here:
https://www.amazon.com/Lizard-Skins-Computer-Mouse-Gaming/dp/B089LQH87K
It's not that hard. I did practice switch replacements on a G203 and my old G402 before moving on to my G303 and G703.
I bought this iron to learn and practice with but am thinking of getting a bigger nicer "station" to work with now. Watch some videos and make sure your tip is well tinned. I bought some extra tip cleaner because I didn't tin it right and the solder kept balling up and not flowing. The cleaner helped me retin it properly. It's been fun to learn so far.
Of those 2 and based on the games you play, I'd get the model O. The G502 is nice but, it's super heavy. The model O is literally half the weight and is a ambidex shape. Both things are favored by FPS players. I think it's best that you get with the lightweight mice now because that's probably what you'll end up liking.
A very similar shape to the model O is the Razer Viper. They actually just launched an updated model with 8000hz polling and updated switches yesterday. Do you need 8000hz? Will it really matter? No but, Razer does make a good mouse and if you buy this cutting edge mouse now it may save you from wanting something new too soon. I would actually recommend the Razer Basilisk over the G502 (same shape) too.

I can't speak for any options, but I can tell you that right now the wireless G403 is on sale on Amazon(At least in the US)
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Gaming-Performance-Sensor/dp/B01KUAMCWI
There aren't. Save your money and buy a G305 or G703, they're around the same price: 45-55 dollars. Buy once cry once. Quality is non negotiable unless you get lucky buying used, but then risk a whole different host of problems.
A better option is to get a G203 and call it a day. It is an amazing entry level mouse with a great sensor, shape, and quality control for under 30. Cables aren't as big of a hindrance as you think. Amazon is having a sale for it right now: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Prodigy-Wired-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B01M26YUKO/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=gaming+mouse&qid=1561870725&refinements=p_36%3A-2500&rnid=386453011&s=videogames&sr=1-5
A decent mousepad can be had for around 15 dollars. I recommend this: https://www.allsop.com/product/xl-mouse-pad-raindrop-28660/
It is a very, very good mousepad that will last a very long time and stand up to wear and tear and trades blows with much higher priced pads and beats out a lot of them.

Yes. I've been using one for several months now (Stone, if you're curious). I use it at work mainly. Aside from slightly different colors, the main points are:
70 Hour battery life instead of 40 Hours
"Flow" software only compatible with the 2S, letting you control multiple devices at once without having to switch using the button on the bottom of the mouse
Slightly different colors/names
My counter points:
The original MX Master can be had for like $60 in any color, shaving off a good part of the 2S's price
40 Hours of continuous use is still a long time, and it's really not that difficult to charge the mouse (even while you're using it)
The Flow software requires all the devices to be on the same network. There are alternative pieces of software that are not restricted to a particular mouse model. For example: https://symless.com/synergy
So really, unless you need 70 Hours of battery life (remember, 70 Hours of usage, not just unplugged), I don't really feel it's worth the increased cost.
Just make a little script in something like AutoHotKey.

Think something like this is the best you're going to find:

or perhaps a razer basilisk v2 which has the sniper button additionally.. however something similar to the sidewinder there is not.

The G900 is on sale at the minute on amazon I believe https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Spectrum-Professional-Wireless-Ambidextrous/dp/B01CEFEMFW
~~The G900 has all of logitechs latest technology, including the lowest input delay of any wireless mouse to date and with the best sensor on the market, I think that it is worth the extra $30, if you feel that it is not worth it then the MX master is a reasonable choice.~~
edit: on second thought the G403 would be a better choice honestly, here http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g403-prodigy-wireless-gaming-mouse
If you can save up a little more money for your mouse budget. Amazon has the wireless Logitech G403 on sale for around $58 USD: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Prodigy-Gaming-Performance-Sensor/dp/B01KUAMCV4
I own the wired version, and can't be happier with it. It's a deceptively large mouse, so a palm grip will feel right at home with this mouse. Many people compare it as a compact Deathadder. And I tend to agree, that they share many similarities.
The wireless version is among one of the best, lowest latency wireless mice available on the market. It has the same performance as the excellent G900.
Anyhow, I wish you luck!
I have about 8 or 9 mousepads, including a Artisan hayate otsu.
The hayate otsu is faster than the QCK.
I'n my opinion, Artisan pads are waste of money, unless you order a custom (size) one, The "Large" one sold on Amazon is way too small for med-low to low sensitivity gamers. You can order a custom size from Artisan, but it will cost you quite a bit.
In addition, the Artisan tends to get dirty really fast. I had to clean it every week.
If you are fraying up your pads by cleaning them, there are more gentle ways to effectively clean them.
I use a product called Unicare.
I mix it with warm water in a spray bottle, spray it onto the mousepad, massage it in, let it sit for 5min, spray some more on, then scrub it with a microfiber cloth. Last step is rinse it clean under the tub and leave to dry.
The Unicare is super gentle, and has never harmed any of my pads.
Thanks for the heads up!
FYI it's also $50 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Logitech-Prodigy-Gaming-Performance-Sensor/dp/B01KUAMCV4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496265631&sr=8-1&keywords=g403
The large (biggest) is 420mmx330mm or 16.5" x 13". Not a huge pad by any means. Currently running $54.09 ( yeah, pricey) on Amazon as I'm typing this if you live in the US.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D4VDDKK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_juRBzb2RMYYW8
The quality is fantastic (I own several Artisan pads) and durability isn't a problem. I just wish they made bigger pads.
Another option to consider is the Mionix Alioth. Very smooth with little friction, but I've only had the chance to use one mouse with it (G403) so I'm not sure how other mice would fare. So far I think this might end up being one of if not my favorite pad.
Hey so I had the same problem with my DA elite, and what I did was i scraped off the rubber sidegrips, and replaced them with anti-sweat raquet grip I found on amazon.
I found this method to be HIGHLY effective. My hand is basically a giant sweatball when I play so I have this problem with a ton of mice and therefore textures, and this raquet tape has stood up time and time again.
The method I used was: I cut the tape into the exact shapes as the original grips I had taken off (via outline) and then crazy glued the first layer on both sides. The second layer, I just stick on top of it and two layers of the tape happen to fit exactly even with the plastic sides around the mouse.
Because It's raquet tape, putting layers on top of each other basically works as a sort of glue itself as wrapping multiple layers on a tennis raquet is part of the process. Whenever the outer layer gets dirty, I just peel it off and put a new layer on top. I'm a pretty dirty dude so I go through a cut every 2-3 weeks. A cleanly person could last months with 1 outline and with 1 roll of tape would last you years. Not to mention its super cheap too and comes in tons of colors.
Here's the tape I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002V3810/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I can take pictures of my mouse if you or anyone else is intersted.
That bungee is pretty crap. The Zowie Camade is super solid, I have one and it's fantastic. There's a knock off on Amazon for $6 cheaper.
The G403 Wired is currently 46.76 on Amazon, I suggest buying it. I've previously used the mouse for 3 months before switching to something smaller (smaller hand), but the shape, sensor, and weight were great.
Nixeus Revel is a medium-large mouse that is on sale rn on Amazon for $23
MS-3 Hyperglides. You can get them on Amazon or from their website as the "MS-3 for Intellimouse Explorer 1.1 & 3.0", but buying it from their website ships straight from Hong Kong.
To anyone that uses a different amazon, just take this Link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Wireless-Lightweight-Programmable-compatible/dp/B07G5XJLWK/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1534818154&sr=8-13&keywords=Logitech+-+G+PRO+Wireless+Gaming+Mouse and change the .de to amazon.co.uk for example. This would get you to the british amazon site for spain u take .es, for italy its .it and so on.
It exists! It was released not too long ago on Amazon: White KPOE
G403. It’s the one I have, and it’s treated me well. It’s on sale right now for a a couple dollars over your price range. Definitely worth it imo.
Nice! if you want the g305 to be less back heavy, or less weight on general here's a link to a triple A converter. Makes the mouse better, but still an overall great mouse!
amazing mouse, here's a link to a triple a converter, makes the mouse less back heavy, though makes the battery life less
I don’t think so, any V2 version of a mouse or a Viper will have it. If you like the shape of the g502, you’ll like the Basilisk V2

According to amazon, it's 114x60x39.5mm, 61g, 3360 sensor,White PTFE skates, and a paracord
I'd recommend the Nixeus Revel Fit if you want an entry level mouse with a similar shape to the G400. I'm not certain, but I believe it's a sort of "knockoff" version of the older MX518 since Logitech had stopped making it a while ago. It's got the 3360 sensor, minimal RGB (configurable through a completely optional software), and flash memory so your settings will always stay saved on the mouse. I used the regular Nixeus Revel for a little while because it was like $30, had a great sensor, and was pretty much a perfect recreation of the Steelseries Sensei Raw (whose shape is one of my favourites of all time). I never had a single issue with it in the slightest. The materials used can feel slightly cheap to someone who has owned/used many high quality mice before, but both the Revel and the Revel Fit are, in my opinion, the best "bang for your buck" mice on the market. If I didn't love the G Pro Wireless as much as I did, I'd probably still be using a Nixeus mouse today.

I'm on this "Dechanic" mousepad Which is somewhat smooth but mines gotten gunked up with dust and skin and the stitching is annoying on my arm.
According to /u/norcal3737 and /u/aag-

those: https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-Batteries-Lithium-Charged-Powerbank/dp/B071J18BD9

are pretty nice. You get 4x 7g (so just like lightest lithium aaa) rechargeable batteries, which are rechargeable through USB (micro usb).

Im also thinking about getting a pack.
