While not a 100% solution to your issue, JustWatch is really useful for this kind of thing:
https://www.justwatch.com/us?presentation_types=4k
It'll show you where a movie is available in 4K and what the price is for each service.
Similarly, you can see when new 4K movies are released on this page:

>You're not able to watch RENTALS through Movies Anywhere.
Correct.
>It's a bit misleading since it literally says "Movies Anywhere: Watch your purchase on Movies Anywhere supported devices."
Seems pretty clear to me. (Even with your misquoted quote).
To be clear, purchasing a non-digital copy doesn't work on MoviesAnywhere either.

>I purchased a rental (see Amazon link below where they also consider a rental a "purchase").
You rented a rental, you didn't purchase a movie. Regardless of AMAZON's silly wording, it's not going to affect how MoviesAnywhere works.

>Here's Amazon's website showing the same movie, using the same word "purchase" when referring to rentals. https://www.amazon.com/Parasite-English-Subtitled-Kang-Song/dp/B07YM22YKW/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=parasite&qid=1582391454&sr=8-2
But my view clearly shows "rent" or "buy".
Regardless, this is an Amazon issue, NOT an MA issue.
>Also, I'm not here for the Karma.
Good thing!
you can search the movie at https://www.justwatch.com/us to make sure it's avaible at other retailers and the prices at each one. of course you'll wanna make sure it's MoviesAnywhere before buying to make sure it ports across retailers.
Go to https://ninite.com, select iTunes, install it. Link MA. Uninstall iTunes. I know you don’t want to, but actually installing iTunes is probably your only bet (and this is the least painful way to do it).
GOG.com (formally Good Old Games) is a place to purchase digital video games for PC. It competes with Valve's Steam & Epic Games Store.
Although tbh I've already come to terms I don't own the digital content I purchase. Hence why in the console video game space I refuse to buy digital games if there is a physical release.
Like if I really want a Triple A game on Day 1 I will pre-order the physical version instead of the digital version just so if anything happens to my PSN or Xbox accounts I still have the game on disc (or cart for Switch.)
I look at movies the same way. If I really want to keep a film in my collection I will buy the physical version.

Great for all kinds of things.
I've been using Ant Movie Catalog for years and years and I just love it. You just add the movie to the database and the script will grab all the info it needs for each field, etc, and in the source field I just add where I bought the movie from.
I bought it on Amazon a little while back. It is not MA, so its stuck in the Amazon video app, I'd rather have it on VUDU, but at least I can watch it whenever I want from pretty much any device.
Not being lazy, but for posterity, what's that link. The redirects and confusion of Amazon always worries me, so I am sure people would appreciate a simple place to drop into... if anyone has it. Is this it?

Fudge_u Cheers for heads up man I was using uvspider when i bought that code, took me to digital world which was the cheapest for GLASS and had to redeem it at Movies Anywhere. I tried using NordVPN... double vpn, onion over vpn, obfuscated servers, proxy socks, none of the servers would let me sign up to Movies Anywhere. I even tried changing DNS also to see if that made any difference but still no joy. Anyone reading this who has the same problem be kind offer something as a small gesture and hopefully someone like fudge_u will help you out by making an account for you. Just a heads up, i managed to buy Spiderman Homecoming and redeemed it at VUDU after linking my Movies Anywhere account, after which you can install VUDU app on your device and download your movies for offline watching no VPN or anything needed after that. You obviously need a vpn to redeem your codes tho.
Hope this helps, as ive seen a lot of people having the same issue i did. Respect to Fudge_u (Brother from another mother hahaha)
I’ve come to the exact same issue....I’ve even gone over to NordVPN and subscribed before realising that no VPN is going through the sign up restrictions.... Is there a kind soul on here that would be willing to help me out with creating an account ? I don’t know how I’d repay you but we could figure something out perhaps ? Thank you in advance for any response.
