Firstly, don't expect to get onto the server on 1st September. Patreon take payment from your account at the start of the month, but it will be somewhere around the 6th - 8th September before payments are all confirmed, and changes can be made to the whitelist.
This gives you a while to check your Patreon account. You should go to Mumbo's Patreon Page and if you're logged in, then you should see a big "Edit Your Patronage" button on the left. This will allow you to check how much you are pledging, and adjust it if necessary.
It was just on the patron creator posts page at: https://www.patreon.com/ThatMumboJumbo?ty=c
One of the recent comments was: Pretty sure there's only like 80 people white listed at this point, at best. There weren't many patrons when I pledged on the 3rd.
That post was about 6 hours ago. Like I said, I have no way of knowing if that's true, I had just seen it posted.
Any particular reason we're switching to another network and not a dedicated server seller like OVH or Kimsufi?
I ask because the networks I've worked with(either as an admin or as a buyer) hasn't been spectacular. Now, I've never worked with Nitrous Networks before so I can't say if they're good or bad, and I always take the reviews posted on websites with a grain of salt, so I'd rather not comment on that part until I've had some experience with them myself.
Yeah, just wondering why a network instead of buying an actual dedicated server?
Cheers.
OK, we really need a bit more information to be able to help you...
What error message are you getting when you try to connect?
How often have you tried?
Are you able to access the website http://thatmumbojumbo.com/ OK?
In the meantime, try the following:
Yes. I even added what are supposed to be the fastest DNS servers and my nearest DNS servers to my DNS server list. Tried with my firewall off, and changed my VPN to Spotflux as someone on planet minecraft suggested. It never happened to me before, and all the other servers in my list are working fine.
